“We came from out of town and tried 3-4 different coffee shops during our 5 days here and this was by far the best! The wait is a little long, but the girls are SO NICE. Every other coffee shop we went to, the girls were cold or acted like they didn't even want to be here but these girls at Jump Start Java are so sweet. I love when someone asks me how my day was or asks things about what we're doing and shows some kind of care about their customers and these girls definitely do! Good coffee, good bagels and great attitudes!“
“It’s nice, kinda like a lower chain Starbucks, this shop technically runs off of what they can make in financial security from making coffee to, “ helping the kids and teens from being homeless” which- when you contact there facility to report a homeless kids and to get information NOONE responds or helps. Sounds like just a money making system that gives you false advertising. Won’t be returning to give my money to a place that claims to help but neglects ones that reach out for it!“
“Recently started going to Cup of Jo and it has quickly become my favorite coffee stand. The service is consistently excellent. I usually just get plain drip coffee with nothing in it--not exactly a unique or memorable order--but everybody has made the effort to remember my order anyway. Everybody is always very friendly and personable. The coffee is great. Usually I get plain coffee and it's really good. But I've gotten the special a couple of times, and they are well-crafted every time. The prices are also very reasonable.“
“As someone with celiac disease and severe dairy, egg, and soy allergies - this place is an absolute miracle. Like it made me emotional to find because I haven’t been able to safely consume a treat like this in years. I am a deeply sensitive celiac and received NO reactions to their donuts. I’m so excited to have found an allergy friendly donut place.Keep it up, people like you keep us allergy folks afloat!“
“TLDR; super long and slow lines, really nice pastries. When we got here (9.30am), the line probably had 7-8 groups ahead of us, and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the front. I got the savory croissant which was overall pretty quite nice. Unfortunately it felt a bit oily (not buttery) to me - I let it sit in the paper bag for a couple hours, after which it was perfect since the bag soaked up all the extra oil/butter.“
“Yes! Yes! Yes! From friendly service to perfect drinks and fulfilling breakfast in density and flavor. We opted to go inside the cafe to order our take out breakfast versus the drive thru. Seems like they may be working on the interior a bit, but it wasn't distracting. They have a little corner with books and toys for the kiddos, and highchairs. We were immediately greeted by a gal in the back. She kindly offered her recommendations when asked and was helpful in explaining ingredients and flavors. We ordered the $14 BB Burrito; eggs, bacon and cheddar - no skimping on this fatty breakfast burrito! Also got the $3.50 single slice avocado toast and added hard boiled eggs for an extra $1.50, def worth it. Don't be fooled by its appearance, so much flavor and deliciousness! The single slice was perfect for me, I loved the garlic, salt and pepper seasonings and sourdough.Aside from the traditional coffee drinks, they have smoothies and blenders. We got the Mango smoothie, smallest size is 16oz. Vanilla Chai tea latte with almond milk, so much yum!So glad we ventured 7 minutes off our route to check Hot Java Cafe out!Parking: Small private parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Cafe has kid corner and toys to help occupy the wee ones. They also have highchairs available.“
“The chai was okay, but the pastries we got were so good. The cheesecake has a much thicker crust which I prefer and the flavors tasted like a crisp fall day. We also got the chocolate croissant and a blueberry muffin. All very good, and good value. Plentiful seating indoor and outdoor.“
“My wife and i go here at least once a week for mango nadas, coffee, bubble tea and sushiritos. They have local artwork displayed which i think adds to the atmosphere. Friendly service. Although wait time can be a bit long but worth the wait. Id recommend this place to anybody that likes a good meal and drinks for a fair price!“
“Finally got to try this! We tried one of each musubi, as well as one coffee and one red bull drink. The last who attended is was super sweet and friendly & everything was delicious. I loved the bacon avocado the most and my spouse loves the spicy tuna. I don't know what kind of sauce came with that spicy tuna but it is amazing. The drinks were too but I don't know if I can order drinks next time. This is drive through *only* and it's really the drinks that delay the drive through as the musubis are already made and it makes me uncomfortable to slow it down.I think the one thing I really don't like is the drive through situation. Only maybe 4-6 cars fit into the area and the rest need to stay out in the street, in the suicide lane waiting for a spot which just gets me all antsy as someone could easily/accidentally cut in front. Also if you are not in a car, are you supposed to stand in the street? Doesn't seem safe.I would think it would be best to have the line snake through the parking lot. OR maybe place an order, get a ticket, wait in car, and have it brought out for drink orders, but they need more than one worker for that. OR maybe a walk-up only would be the best option, so have people park and then they form a line in person. Any of those would mean no one is in the street.Basically the food and the service are amazing, but really wish they could work with the way their setup works.“
“Why would anyone go for chain coffee places when gems like Bay Street exist? If you like perfectly roasted beans, a ton of syrups, alternative milks, friendly people at any time of day, come try this place. They also sell those perfectly roasted beans per pound. They also have snacks, but I only go for the coffee and the service. One of their baristas is a SODA and signs fluently. 10/10 every time.Dietary restrictions: They have alt milks- almond, oat, soy and coconut!“
“This is my favorite coffee stand of all time. The employees are welcoming, friendly, familiar, and full of PNW spirit. I don't get to stop by nearly as often as I want, but every time I do is a great experience. The coffee itself and their drinks in general are just as excellent as their service. The only downside... the bees in the summer, but hey, they like the smell just as much as we do, so who can really blame them, and the team does a good job of keeping their mischief managed.“
“I’ve been going to treehouse for a long time. Love the margarita pizza and the salads. They carry a delicious bad apple hard cider. You get a lot of food for a fair price. I also enjoy the pita bread/hummus appetizer. Great for sharing. Not a super fancy atmosphere but definitely not a dive bar. Family friendly. Everybody loves it here.“
“I can not say enough good thing about Smokin' Robinsons. That food is exactly what I expected. GREAT!! I ordered food for a Christmas party for 50 people. No one was disappointed. They raved about the food and ask to take the rest home. I have never had caterer that was that good before that the attendees wanted to take home the left over food. Thanks“
“We decided to stop by for brunch on the weekend. The owner was so friendly and generous. Was disappointed to find out that do not serve savory crepes, but they make amazing sweet crepes and sugar cookies. We were both psyched to see an Eagles cookie, and bonded with the store owner, chatting occasionally while we ate.We ate in the dining portion, which is partitioned from the kitchen by the check out counter. It is filled with simple 2 person tables, and the owner was kind enough to refill our water for us.We had a great time and will be sure to come back.Vegetarian options: Menu is full of sweet crepes, and desserts. All vegetarian.Parking: Parking designated by signs in the gravel parking lot next to the shop.“
“I have been a big fan of rolling bay cafe for awhile! The food/coffee is fantastic! However the customer service of all the employees takes the experience to another level!!! Everyone is so friendly! Don't take my word for it. Go into rolling bay cafe and give it a try for yourself! I'm sure from the first visit you will love it just as much as I do! To everyone at the cafe: keep up the amazing work!“
“We had a lovely lunch in this restaurant. We had a great time with a very pleasant service person. The place was not crowded, we were served quickly at the table. The food was well cooked and tasty, and the restaurant's decoration was really to our tastes. Overall, we enjoyed our food. Give it a try!“
“Yup! It’s that genuine and authentic! They have great options for breakfast and lunch. Had a sandwich and a hot tea. The hot tea selection was great and they have very friendly staff! In the very walkable downtown Bremerton area. Would recommend!“
“Great food, service, and atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed the brunch selections with the veggie options and love the Wied selection of mocktail and cocktails!Vegetarian options: Many of the brunch options had a vegetarian sausage option or a mushroom/onion option. They also had a Vegetarian gravy, all of which was very good“
