“The chai was okay, but the pastries we got were so good. The cheesecake has a much thicker crust which I prefer and the flavors tasted like a crisp fall day. We also got the chocolate croissant and a blueberry muffin. All very good, and good value. Plentiful seating indoor and outdoor.“

“The Treehouse cafe recently got a new owner so I think they are still working out some of the kinks but we had our rehearsal dinner here and it was a wonderful experience. We seriously could not have asked for a better night and everyone had a blast. I do not think they were prepared for our crazy latin family, but they handled it with a lot of grace and provided exceptional service. The pizza was delicious and the wine was flowing, everyone loved the space and the outdoor seating was a great option on a hot August night. I will definitely be back to the Treehouse Cafe next time we are on Bainbridge Island. I would also strongly recommend them for events!“

“We had a lovely lunch in this restaurant. We had a great time with a very pleasant service person. The place was not crowded, we were served quickly at the table. The food was well cooked and tasty, and the restaurant's decoration was really to our tastes. Overall, we enjoyed our food. Give it a try!“

“Carly's changed ownership last year, but all the great service and food has continued. Yay! This is still my go-to local spot for a pastry and especially their cafe miel - sweetened with honey. My son gets either a kids hot chocolate (with whipped cream and sprinkles) or a vanilla steamer. He gives thumbs up to both.“

“Great place for a coffee and pastry on a Sunday morning on the island. Almond croissant was great, but the raspberry oat bar was the bomb!!Parking: Ease of parking, just drove in and there were plenty of spots in the lot as well as on the street.“

“We stopped in for breakfast while at the Inn. Tea selection is just Stash so didn’t bother. Staff were friendly. Servings were good sized for a breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast with egg. The eggs are made in some kind of form that just makes a big disk, which was funny, but worked! Tasted good, not what I would call gourmet, but a good solid breakfast option. Nice seating options.“

“I can’t say enough about this young lady who was taking orders and making the orders at the same time. She ran the entire place herself and did an amazing job. She deserves a raise. Think about it, she’s doing the job that’s two people in the Pegasus coffee shop can’t do in their own. Whoever owns this place, I hope you appreciate the excellent employee you have and if you don’t believe me, walk down and wait half hour for nothing like I did at Pegasus before walking up to Cups and experiencing what a good barista you have.“
“Such a cool retro, urban, resourceful, and cozy space! I loved basking in the atmosphere here with all the vintage band posters and wall art! Great comfort food w/ vegetarian options, awesome selection of records incl. smaller local artists, and really nice people working here. Really enjoyed my first visit and am looking forward to coming back. Seattle is lucky to have this place. :)“

“Not your typical health food establishment, this was food to nourish both body and energy system. Ordered vegan tuna sandwich and everyday/all day smoothie. Not only were both delicious and satisfying, but a very noticeable shift in energy level and mood immediately followed. Grateful to have discovered this place and would recommend to anyone who appreciates vegan cuisine infused with nothing but the highest of quality.“

“This was the first time we had come here and it was fantastic! I love that they really turned this old church into something truly their own. The over all vibe of the place is super relaxed and would be a perfect place to bring visiting friends to. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and I wish I had gotten her name but she really went above and beyond beyond to make sure we had all of our options and gave great recommendations and I'm pretty sure she said she was the one who came up with the mock tail "Divine Thyming." Which as a pregnant lady was VERY much appreciated because it was a delicious non-alcoholic alternative! Our food did not take forever to come out which is always a plus and it was sooooo good. I got the biscuits and sausage gravy which is always my go to but here it's on another level. Potato's and peppers were super good and my husband absolutely enjoyed all of his meal which our waitress said was a good mix of most of the breakfast items in one plate. The 4 mimosas my husband received from his flight had him felling VERY happy as well left. He also had gotten their mango mimosa after the flight because it was that good. All in all if you're looking for a really cool spot with super cool vibes and bomb food... this is it. Just be warned limited parking so get there quick!“

“Great place to get musubi outside of Hawaii! Service is always quick and their food is amazing. I really like their Red Bull spritzers too! Highly recommend stopping by this place for lunch but make sure you get there earlier because they do sell out.“

“My son and I love to come here in on Saturday mornings after his Kung Fu class. We eat our muffins, I drink my delicious coffee, and he sips sparkling lemonade all while the live band plays relaxing music. He’s 6. And in the summers, he dances to the music in the garden. It’s heavenly.“

“My wife and I are regulars at Oxalis and we both love the food and coffee. However the customer service takes the experience to another level. The employees are amazing! This cafe is well worth the visit! I highly recommend the egg sandwich! Enjoy!“

“Yes! Yes! Yes! From friendly service to perfect drinks and fulfilling breakfast in density and flavor. We opted to go inside the cafe to order our take out breakfast versus the drive thru. Seems like they may be working on the interior a bit, but it wasn't distracting. They have a little corner with books and toys for the kiddos, and highchairs. We were immediately greeted by a gal in the back. She kindly offered her recommendations when asked and was helpful in explaining ingredients and flavors. We ordered the $14 BB Burrito; eggs, bacon and cheddar - no skimping on this fatty breakfast burrito! Also got the $3.50 single slice avocado toast and added hard boiled eggs for an extra $1.50, def worth it. Don't be fooled by its appearance, so much flavor and deliciousness! The single slice was perfect for me, I loved the garlic, salt and pepper seasonings and sourdough.Aside from the traditional coffee drinks, they have smoothies and blenders. We got the Mango smoothie, smallest size is 16oz. Vanilla Chai tea latte with almond milk, so much yum!So glad we ventured 7 minutes off our route to check Hot Java Cafe out!Parking: Small private parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Cafe has kid corner and toys to help occupy the wee ones. They also have highchairs available.“
“I love meeples so so much! I play magic the gathering at meeples pretty much weekly (or more). This is my favorite game store I have been to, really great employees. If you want something and they don't have it, they can usually order it for you. Meeples is truly a wonderful local business that is worth supporting!“

“Affordable and DELICIOUS coffee and drinks and food!!! all your proceeds go to the youth programs to help homeless, at risk youth, and other youth! What more could you ask for? Also super cute shop and is walking distance to the water. I love it here and the upstairs seating is comfortable. Great place to get some work done and have a delicious affordable drink. Starbucks is literally 100000% disgusting compared to the quality here! I love Coffee Oasis !! I recommend The London Fog, The Strawberry Fog, and any Frappuccino. Also the coffee is made locally so their coffee bags are awesome! Oh not to mention the service is amazing - I love the people who work here! So nice!!!!“

Although wait time can be a bit long but worth the wait. Id recommend this place to anybody that likes a good meal and drinks for a fair price!“

“This is our go to neighborhood cafe. The staff is great. The baked goods and coffee are top notch. They also sell and make drinks with Lighthouse Coffee which is my favorite Seattle roaster. If you live or are visiting do yourself a favor and stop in for a cup.“

“Seriously the best coffee spot in West Seattle. These guys make such great coffee, they inspired me to start getting serious about my at-home latte skills. They also have a carefully crafted selection of wine, vermouth, and sparkling. Sound and Fog is a diamond in the rough! #ShopLocal“

“Recently started going to Cup of Jo and it has quickly become my favorite coffee stand. The service is consistently excellent. I usually just get plain drip coffee with nothing in it--not exactly a unique or memorable order--but everybody has made the effort to remember my order anyway. Everybody is always very friendly and personable. The coffee is great. Usually I get plain coffee and it's really good. But I've gotten the special a couple of times, and they are well-crafted every time. The prices are also very reasonable.“

“Went to Sabine Cafe for a quick afternoon bite with my teenager. We chose some appetizers to share off the menu: fried cauliflower, whipped feta with veggies, and the Za’atar fries. The service was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly, too.The food is middle eastern influenced. My teen didn’t like the tahini and feta flavors, unfortunately. ? She made the most of it though and ate some of the food… but just didn’t love it.Personally, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and outdoor glassed-in dining area, but also wasn’t blown away by the food we chose. (I noticed they have a breakfast/brunch menu - maybe this would be a better option next time…)“

“Why would anyone go for chain coffee places when gems like Bay Street exist? If you like perfectly roasted beans, a ton of syrups, alternative milks, friendly people at any time of day, come try this place. They also sell those perfectly roasted beans per pound. They also have snacks, but I only go for the coffee and the service. One of their baristas is a SODA and signs fluently. 10/10 every time.Dietary restrictions: They have alt milks- almond, oat, soy and coconut!“

“Bar Sabine was pretty packed on a Saturday night, and after having dinner at Asadero nearby, we decided to hit up Bar Sabine for some late-night cocktails. Even though we were the only ones waiting in line, we waited outside in the chilly Seattle night for 30 to 40 minutes. The wait made more sense once we stepped inside. The interior had tributes to Lord of the Rings everywhere from the decorations to the names of the drinks. They even had all three Lord of the Rings movies playing on different TVs at the same time. Although I do not know much about the franchise, I really appreciated the attention to detail and the tenacity to stick to the theme. The cool glassware matching the theme added to the vibe - like the White Hand of Saruman served in a black glass with a white handprint, or the Mirror of Galadriel with a mirror on a wooden box. I didn't check out the full menu, but I noticed other drinks coming in unique glasses, like barrels or mid-century mugs.I tried the Mirror of Galadriel, the White Hand of Saruman, and the Broken Sword of Narsil. The Broken Sword of Narsil was the standout, with fenugreek cream making it unique. It was so good that I had to ask the bartender for more cream. The White Hand of Saruman was on the sweet side, probably thanks to the condensed milk. The Mirror of Galadriel, with lavender gin and strawberry sake, packed more of a punch than I expected. All in all, the experience was worth the wait, and I'll definitely be back at Bar Sabine.“

“This cafe is wonderful! The coffee was strong and delicious. We had the feta sandwich, hummus toast, baklava and the macaroon. Everything was so delicious. The prices are really reasonable too for what you get. The owners are really sweet and so friendly. I’m so glad my daughter and I found this gem of a coffee shop and cafe. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!“

“We came from out of town and tried 3-4 different coffee shops during our 5 days here and this was by far the best! The wait is a little long, but the girls are SO NICE. Every other coffee shop we went to, the girls were cold or acted like they didn't even want to be here but these girls at Jump Start Java are so sweet. I love when someone asks me how my day was or asks things about what we're doing and shows some kind of care about their customers and these girls definitely do! Good coffee, good bagels and great attitudes!“

“TLDR; super long and slow lines, really nice pastries. When we got here (9.30am), the line probably had 7-8 groups ahead of us, and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the front. I got the savory croissant which was overall pretty quite nice. Unfortunately it felt a bit oily (not buttery) to me - I let it sit in the paper bag for a couple hours, after which it was perfect since the bag soaked up all the extra oil/butter.“
