“This is a small coffee shop attached to a creative space and has limited seating. Love the celebration of culture here. You will find a menu of Vietnamese coffee creations that aren't super common. We got the cà phê lá dúa (pandan condensed milk) hot. Pretty smooth, very light pandan flavor, and you still taste the dark, roasted coffee bean flavor. And they used this really cool Hermann cup design that hot drinks don't need a cup sleeve.“
“We ordered mocha, matcha latte, almond croissant and cinnamon roll croissant. Everything was amazing especially the bakery. The almond croissant was the best I've ever had, very nutty, hint of marzipan and the crust was perfect! Besides, the cashier was really nice and friendly, very helpful and the store was super chic and well decorated.“
“I was feeling like a pile of trash today but the second I walked into this shop my mood shot up thanks to the atmosphere. The music, plants, and baristas made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I ordered their Natural Papua New Guinea espresso and it was a real citrus fruit bomb. They offer a lot of different retail roasts with a great variety of processes and some co-ferments which I LOVE. The beans are a bit on the pricey side ($23-$27 for 12oz) but the quality is 100% worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this shop if you need a welcoming space and love modern coffee trends.“
“Must visit place for coffee lovers. They have a huge infrastructure which makes you fall in love with the place. Multiple options for food, coffee and alcoholic beverages. You can also choose from a variety of souvenirs/gift options.Parking: Difficult to find parking during peak hours. Best option is to find street parking at minimum rates of 4.5-5$ per hour.Wheelchair accessibility: Location is easy to access via wheelchair“
“I came here with my boyfriend expecting it to be good. It exceeded expectations though. We wanted a cold brew, but they did not have it. We got an iced coffee instead. Normally I don’t like iced coffee because it tends to tastes burnt. This was delicious and smooth like a cold brew though. The staff were chill too. I highly recommend it.“
“their card machine was having issues with some different banks so I figured I wouldn’t be able to try this one, but very sweet barista gave me the drink for free. delicious pistachio milk matcha!plenty of seating inside too! and lots of unique menu options“
“Best coffee shop in Seattle - consistently delicious espresso & coffee, great food, the friendliest service, and plenty of comfortable places to sit whether working or meeting with a friend. The loft has the best view!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to entrance“
“Best coffee experience in North Capitol Hill by far! Very unassuming since it's tucked away in the Kaiser building on 15th Ave, but absolutely worth the visit. You can see how the staff takes their time making each shot perfect and I greatly respect that dedication. And if you get the chance, always try Jonathan's newest latte flavors! They do not disappoint.“
“I live in the area and stop in here often. The coffee is delicious, the baked goods are tasty and the people are friendly, everything I look for in a local coffee house.Prices are on par with Seattle coffee prices, they used to allow dogs, unfortunately the health department explicitly prohibits them from allow dogs any longer. They have outside covered seating, a dozen two person tables and one 5 personal table.Parking: Typical city parking but easily found around the area.“
“When in Seattle, you must try coffee. So I took the suggestion and went to this small coffee shop. Rumor has it it's owned by a black woman. I enjoyed the coffee, the diversity and inclusion and reading the names of the plants cool spot to visit.“
“Only been here a handful of times but the drinks are fantastic. Plain cold brew is on point. Flavor of an iced caffe latte with oat milk was so well balanced. The people working here are always kind and helpful. Do yourself a favor and make the trek here if you’re in the area. There’s lots of cafes in the area that very good, but I think you will NOT be disappointed stopping here.“
“Good selection of pour overs. Nice espresso drinks. Didn’t try the food, but heard good things about it.Congo beans tasted good in a cappuccino. Colombian natural pour over was very strawberry-forward with the white chocolate finish. Made on a Marco brewer.Chocolate croissant was a bit dry. But in the US there’s only a handful of places with really good pastries.“
“This is a great place for coffee, treats and most importantly you are helping to support young adults who are experiencing homelessness. What a great place to give back to those doing through a hard time. The staff is amazing and committed to helping so many young people get jobs, housing, ect. Love their mission! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.“
“We had a great time. The Espresso and Tea were very good, and the Pastry were delicious, The Chocolate croissant and the Apple tart in particular. The atmosphere was cozy and we were able to work for a few hours comfortably since it also has a good free Wifi service and enough electrical plugs to charge our laptops. The staff were all very nice and helped maling our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. They even suggested warming up the Pastry for us and served us the drinks and food directly to our table.“
“Bearing in mind that I love making espresso at home, and that this is a place that only sells roasted beans, there are 2 things to really really like about this place. 1) This coffee shop feels like it's lifted directly from Harry Potter's Diagon Alley. It's got ancient, interesting, dusty equipment on shelves, it's dark, and wow, what a fun experience to go there. I kept gawking like a tourist. It would be tempting to try to host a Halloween party here. 2) Their dark roasts are OUTSTANDING. Now this is a place that doesn't believe in non-dark roasts... so I'm not sure I'd even ask. This is old-school espresso, dark, oily and delicious. I hesitated to put it in my grinder but I'm glad I tried it. It's actually partially converted me that dark roast can be a good thing that I will bring into my rotation. Ok a few smaller things to note: A) cash only B) weird limited hours (which add to the intrigue) of Tue/Thu and some Sun C) they will let you buy as little as 1/2 lb of any roast for like $7-8 D) they will make you a shot for $1, but no milk or any fancy stuff, just the shot E) if you want to see the roasting in action it happens on Sunday I'm told If you are a Seattle-area coffee nerd this is a must-visit IMO. Cheers.“
“Some of the best croissants I’ve ever had in my life. Every pastry we’re tried as great. Very good coffee. Really can’t think of any negatives aside from the long line, and that they’ll be out of their most popular items if you get there later in the day.“
“I’m usually picky with wine, whiskey etc, same goes for my coffee. The notes I picked up from the beans alone were enough to kick start my morning routine. The palate for each bag was delightful and not over roasted to hide unwanted flavors like some companies do. (subtle jab ?)Personal favorites are the Brazilian Estate and Bourbon-aged coffee. But be in the look out for their seasonal blends.I also learned that they partner directly with coffee farmers to source their beans which translates to better sustainability for the farms. Truly a win-win situation in my opinion while I enjoy every sip.“
“The service was great. I’m not a big coffee person so I can’t comment on how good the coffee is, but to my untrained tastebuds it was excellent. They also had complementary house coffee after buying some coffee beans which I found to be generous.“
“Day trip from Portland. These beans came highly recommended. The girl working, Audrey I believe was super knowledgeable and friendly. With her help and the other guy working I was able to select a varietal and even stayed for an espresso. Would recommend to anyone looking for good coffee and service.“
“Excellent drip coffee. I also tried the house made honey syrup and the honey cinnamon whip! They were perfect and I would recommend them in a latte or even an Americano. The bakery items were pretty standard, run of the mill options. Great for a grab and go or just to snack while chilling in the shop. They had a few shop items, including a chemex set.And overall the staff were quiet, polite and fast! Zero wait for my coffee, which was shocking on a Sunday less than 2 blocks from Pike Market!“
“We came here just for the pastry -- initially their cinnamon roll croissant, but apparently they run out of those pretty quickly. We had to settle for the raspberry Danish croissant, which was pretty good but I'm guessing not as good as the cinnamon roll croissant. Anyways, I thought it was pretty neat that they put the different pastries in an air fryer and under two minutes, they give you the pastries crispy and warm. I also really like the vibe of this place; there's plenty of seating indoors and it seems like a nice place to get some work done.“
“The Armistice Eastlake location has become my favorite coffee place in Seattle with the friendly community vibe and great coffee. It is one of those coffee places that one just wants to hang out in for a long time. I tried the new Roosevelt location today and I loved it as well. Both spaces are amazing and unique. The Roosevelt interior is stunning!“
“Amazing sit down cafe with open seating. Their coffee selection is flavorful and their service is very personable.Food items are good too. I got the plant meat egg muffin sandwich which was delicious.Highly recommend as your weekday morning go to cafe or weekend chill cafe.“
“The two ladies this morning were SO BUSY but so friendly and welcoming. I could tell they were tired but kept a welcoming smile on and recieved my coffee so quickly with the line. Coffee was amazing with the little flower she made on my latte. Will definitely be back!“
“It has the best service I have ever had thank Cafe CesiraKid-friendliness: The waitress is friendly with kids if they need something she goes and gets it right away.. and is willing to help them with whatever they need...Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp so wheel chair people can enjoy there coffee and food also..“
“UPDATE-The day after writing this review, someone from the store reached out to me and made sure that I had the coffees that I originally ordered. Extremely rare now a days to get this level of customer service - Thank you A.PDrove to the store 45 mins to purchase pods, when I got home discovered that they associate had given me the wrong pods. I am now stuck with 6 sleeves of coffee pods that I do not want.“
“I had one of the best chai tea lattes I have ever had!! My partner had a flat white and loved it. Nice, chill ambiance in this downtown location. Free wifi and comfy chairs make it a nice place to sit and watch the world go by beyond the windows. If you need a break, I recommend you take it here!“
“We ordered the mocha frappe, and it was delicious! Quick and easy service. They charge for a water cup, so that made me disappointed. We did not eat here but saw some of the food being served and looked decent. They play music low but good vibes.“
“I actually really enjoyed everything about this cafe! It’s in the heart of a very busy area in Renton, so the wait wasn’t a surprise but wasn’t bad either considering how busy they were. Every single table was occupied.Service was great! Very friendly. Atmosphere felt as if I were in Seattle. The cherry on top of our experience was “Bills” by Destiny’s Child playing in the background. Loved it!I tried a strawberry matcha on the spring specials menu and it was perfection! Their turkey sausage breakfast sandwich was also 10/10. Will definitely be back! :)“
