“Absolutely love this place. We had the Penang curry and the Lao sausage with sticky rice and it was incredible. This is some of the best food from Southeast Asia that I’ve ever had in America. The owners are very polite and super sweet. Highly recommend you coming here and Exploring their menu.“
“I am constantly in search of good hot pot places in Seattle. While Hai Di Lao has been my go-to choice, after a meal at Qiao Lin it is definitely rising the ranks on my hot pot list and has the potential to overthrow hai di lao. During our visit, my friends and I chose the four-broth option, featuring two mild selections (tomato broth, pork bone broth) and two spicy options (Chongqing spicy broth, pepper pork broth). The waiter told us that the pepper pork broth was not as spicy but we found it to be the spiciest of the lot. We ordered the beef combo and the presentation was one of the best I've seen at hot pot. The combo arrived on a golden cow and even had a cool fog experience for the first few minutes it was on the table. Every cut of beef on that platter was a delight, especially the Wagyu. Since the platter was pretty filling we only ordered a few other items: quail eggs, skewers, noodles, and meatballs. These were good but honestly didn't compare to the wagyu from the beef platter. The wait staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive throughout our entire dinner. Their patience was notable especially when they graciously waited for us to finish our meal and didn't push us at all even though we were the last party to leave. I will definitely be back to Qiao Lin, primarily for the remarkable beef platter and the commendable service.“
“Such an astounding experience today for my whole family and especially my dad. We made a reservation here to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had heard the customer service here was great but even so they definitely went way above and beyond and thoroughly exceeded our expectations. Kay was our server, he made sure the whole experience was so good from the very beginning to the end for us. He decorated the whole table for his birthday, which was totally unexpected, even brought the cake out with a lit candle!! He even gave my dad a small gift. While my boyfriend and I were waiting for the rest of the family to show up, he brought us a small plate of fruit. Such attention to detail! My parents were very impressed by the whole establishment. Our water cups never went empty, Kay checked in on us often. I’ve never felt so welcome and taken care of.Free validated parking. The bathroom was stocked with mouth wash, toothbrush/toothpaste. He gave us hair ties and lens cleaners for my brother and nephew. The dancing noodle guy did a great job as well!Definitely come for a birthday if you want the person to feel special! The tomyum soup was the favorite among most of us, miso as well!“
“I absolutely love this place. Spendy? Yes, but the quality of this food is exceptional and clearly shows why it is spendy. I have gotten to know the staff as well as me and my family are regulars! For me, this is the only hot pot place I will go to in Seattle. I know everytime I come in I am getting a superb meal.Vegetarian options: You don't have to order meat at all. I bring vegetarian friends over and we split the pots to make sure no cross contamination, and that their soup base is vegan.“
“Really attentive service and a fun interactive meal. I had a lot of fun ordering meats, fish, tofu and veggies to cook in my spicy and bone broth. There’s a cute little robot that brings the food to your table and a sauce bar to create your own adventure of flavors.I really enjoyed my dinner here!“
“staff are very nice and helpful, they help you cook. atmosphere is nice and clean and food is great! i got a mild spicy broth and it was soooo spicy so next time i’m gonna get extra mild. the tomato broth is good and not really spicy and the vegetables and beef are so good.“
“Went in with my parents and brother for dinner and WOW! This place is great! Good service, atmosphere is nice and the decor is a sight for sore eyes. The Dolar Shop is perfect for hotpot lovers and I recommend getting the half spicy and half creamy broth!“
“Our go to hot pot place. Perfect for all you can eat hot pot with lots of options. Everyone leaves full, happy, and smelling like hot pot broth. We usually do the tomato and mushroom broths, then load it up with meat, noodles, and some veggies.Be sure to come here with ample time on the weekends, as wait times are sometimes 2 hours.“
“Update 2023 sep:Ordered Braised pork rice, the braised pork was so little on the top and the rice texture was so wrong. Give 4 stars cuz the flavor is alright and I wish they read this review and have better quality control. A year ago was really good.2022 reviewFoods here are SCRUMPTIOUS and v authentic Taiwanese food!! cant believe I didn’t know this place earlier!“
“Delicious hot pot in downtown Bellevue! For broths we had the house spicy and tomato. Big warning on the house spicy broth...even the "light spicy" is extremely spicy! It's very tasty but it will burn you twice if you know what I mean, especially vegetables that seem to soak up all the spicy oils. Our favorites were the beef short ribs and lamb shoulder. Fish filet was pretty good too, though I think we overcooked them. We also got Mexican shrimps that were huge but I wish they were de-veined, that was my only gripe of the meal. I really appreciated the wait staff, they were patient and explained how to order off their iPads, and gave recommendations that we enjoyed. The underground parking lot is kinda narrow and limited, so I bet it's a nightmare on busy weekends.“
“I love this place, I always get the sweet and sour shrimp with the shrimp fried rice and then pour the sauce from sweet and sour over my rice OMG DE-LISH!!!Parking: There is parking right in front and more on the side of building or strip mall.“
“- Great food but no duck/pig blood-We came here tonight for the all-you-can-eat option, and I had to get on the waitlist ahead of time since they usually get busy at night. We waited for maybe 15 minutes there before we got our seats. While waiting, you can grab their complimentary snacks and enjoy if you are too hungry. You can pick two kinds of lamb and two kinds of beef for all you can eat, and we never figured out which is which lol! And for seafood and fried appetizers, they always get me a set amount no matter how many I want (which is funny). We don't really need to order 3 rounds, but I did order the golden fried bun and the fried mochi for the last round since they gave us so little each time. We were disappointed that we didn't see any duck blood or pig blood on menu since it's a must for hot pot :(! Btw, we didn't get the sauce bar as their appetizers aren't very appetizing and we aren't interested in other stuff either.I was super full afterward, and my husband skipped two meals after and lost weight :D! I got some soft serve on the way out and the texture is between soft serve and a slush haha! We later came back for their $39.99 weekday lunch combo for 2 and found the amount of food more appropriate for the two of us.“
“Honestly, dolar shop or haidilao is the superior hot pot. The environment here does not feel as luxurious, the quality of the meat cuts are much worse, and the all you can eat dessert bar is not as exciting. The benches are also narrow and uncomfortable!Wanted to try their dessert, but they didn’t make the one we wanted unfortunately, so will probably come here again to try that“
“A bit expensive, and the broths were too salty, but everything else was really great! I wouldn't recommend this place unless you bought the Groupon, which gives you $100 of food for $70. The sour plum drink is a great deal however! $10 for a big pitcher, enough for 4 people.“
“Not gonna try to be a food critic here because if you know the greater Seattle area, you know we don’t have good, quality, authentic shabu. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was clean and understated, appetizers (karaage and tuna on crispy rice) were excellent. Both shabu and sukiyaki were authentic, high quality ingredients, and came with clear and abundant options.“
“Had such a fantastic time at this true gem of a restaurant. Authentic Thai hot-pot and appetizers. A full bar with loads of homemade specialty cocktails . This family owned restaurant seems to offer only the freshest ingredients, and this place is a real treat for foodies!!! A+++“
“Yes. I would recommend Liu Yi Shou Hot Pot. We order the beef & lamb platter. It looks delicious. It our first time here. People who love hot pot should come to this restaurant and try it out. The sitting I inside is clean. A big table to sit and much room to sit for 2 people or more. I would definitely coming back for special occasions.“
“Everything you want in an authentic Chinese / Sichuan place. Huge menu, food is top tier, and you can control the spice level to your liking. Came here with a large group and ordered a lot of food - so much flavor and use of real Sichuan peppercorns. Will definitely visit again!“
“Decent price for a hot pot. I enjoyed my beef and my girlfriend got the seafood! I ordered mild but it might be too much for some when it comes to being spicy. The iced green or black tea was free unless you upgrade to large. Portion looked small and I thought I might have to ask for extra rice but it did fill us up. Glad I checked it out!“
“This food blew me away! Every single thing I ordered absolutely delicious. I had the grilled lamb, BEST I EVER HAD. Please go here, you won’t be disappointed! Just don’t go late at night. Not the best area, but the person working told me he would bring it out to my car. The area isn’t the best, but I didn’t want to leave any less than a 5-star as their food deserves the best rating!“
“We were recommended this Ramen restaurant and we’re quite surprised to find it. It’s actually more like a Chinese hot hot flavor. This is not Japanese Ramen at all and we were kind of happy because the Chinese hot pot style is so much better. The flavors are much more rich, and it’s a really fun environment and approach to making your own soup bowls. Highly recommend this place.“
“Had lunch at this place before dropping my sister off at the airport. Great place to enjoy dimsum and other chinese food by the SeaTac area. It took us about 10 minutes wait to be served with our food. We ordered through a tablet. You can keep adding items to your menu anytime. We enjoyed the salad prawns. It had watermelons with it; quite refreshing. The seasoned string beans were not that good and quite flavorless; it could be a little saltier and crunchier. I have no complaints for the dim sums. The pork shao bao and shao mai is different from what I’m used to, but they are not bad.A surprisingly good one we ordered was the Singaporean style vermicelli/noodles. The flavors hit the spot! Highly recommended!!“
