“Really wonderful place for a date night. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing, and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. Would definitely come here again. I had the over the moon lasagna and my wife had the scallops. Both were excellent!“
“Our first time at this restaurant, and we’ll be back! It’s kid friendly too. We ordered the bao pork belly buns and they were so delicious. Also had the angus burger which was perfectly cooked. And the wild mushroom homemade spaghetti!! It was delicious! Their craft cocktails were goood! Service was great too!Kid-friendliness: The restaurant itself is dark and moody, but there were plenty of families with children there.“
“Cactus was an amazing surprise! I come from Texas where the TexMex is abundant and I didn’t expect to find some familiar flavors up here in Washington! The spicy mango michelada was refreshing and the birria tacos and fajitas were great! Whenever I come back to visit, I’ll be sure to stop by Cactus!“
“Just had a nice ride with my fiance and stopped by for a bite to eat on the way home. I had the margarita pizza ? it had tomatoes, ? cheese ?, and a balsamic glaze. And my fiance had the macaroni and cheese ? with fried chicken ?. It was smoky and good. The pizza ? was very good. Definitely want to get either the macaroni and cheese ? next time or their burgers? . Thank you to Cheyenne our server. ?“
“Real cool local spot within UP. My wife and I just came by for a quick drink and an appetizer. Full bar, rotating beer on tap, and decent amount selection to choose from. Can catch the game on TV as well. Very nice staff.Kid-friendliness: There's a small section at the bar closed off to kids, but the rest of the places to sit are available to families.“
“We shared the fried chicken and waffles (the lemon was a knockout surprise), the cheesy tots (which were a flavor bomb), and the biscuits and gravy (I never like that dish cuz it's kinda boring, but these were anything but). We truly couldn't choose a favorite. Sooo good. Seriously. We were only upset that we got full and couldn't eat more. Bravo! Great vibe too!“
“If you're wondering where to go for a cool brunch, look no further. We went to Manuscript for Sunday brunch, and I am still thinking about it on Thursday! The staff was quick and polite, and the food was excellent. The place has a cool vibe, the type of place you want to catch up with an old friend over a beverage and some crispy pork belly.....which is amazing because every table looked like they were having a beverage and amazing breakfast! We had a breakfast sandwich, the pork belly hash, and a GIANT Lemon grab Baby (which is just like a Dutch baby only with lemon curd and huckleberry jam). There wasn't a scrap of food left over. Everything was so amazingly tasty that we all left fully and happy. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu. It is a great place to go in Tacoma!“
“I absolutely love Kelly. She is so sweet and accommodating. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this dive bar. It’s my new go to for good music, tasty bar food and nice vibes. I’ve had nothing but amazing service EVERY single time. The bartender Devon made my drink to perfection and I’m so grateful for the cook because my food was nicely seasoned and very scrumptious. I will definitely be back again and again. Good service never goes unnoticed with me! Come through, order some food and tip your bartenders!?“
“Our server was the best, funnest most delightful server we have had in quite a while! I asked her name and promptly forgot but she had dark hair with short bangs, a few tattoos. We always enjoy Matador but I wanted to specifically draw attention to this young lady for keeping hospitality alive and fun! Thank you!“
“The 1st time I have been there and the bartender is by far my favorite bartender. Great conversationalist and knows her drinks and if she isn't sure, she was more than okay to look it up and make sure she had the liquor or substitute to make my drinks! She had me stay there longer than I had planned, haha! Excellent “
“We really love En Rama and we have been coming here since they opened. I literally only have two complaints. Well, l sort of three. The first one is the soft-boiled egg. I used to be able to get it on the braised chickpeas. The last time I was there they said they could only put it on pasta. ☹️ Also, their drink menu has changed. My favorite drinks were Netflix and chill and the lavender. If all three of those things would get fixed, I would be so much happier and would be running in tomorrow. If even one of the drinks came back and the soft boiled egg was okay to order with my chickpeas, I would be back immediately. I'm flexible. Good on you guys for having tons of veggie stuff.“
“This place is wonderful— especially on the patio. It’s enclosed and there are blankets on every chair. We both started with espressos and then got a 4 cup French press to share. I got the French onion soup and my friend got salmon Benedict. I would definitely come again and make sure you make a reservation.“
“This place was cute, I went with some girlfriends and the wine we had was really good. My friends got some appetizer meat plate with cold cut, nuts and fruit, and a few other things that they said were good. I had the veggie melt( I am vegan) but I didn't care for it, not the owners fault or anything just wasn't my thing. Other than that we had a great time!“
“We ate here late at night at the happy hour, the menu had good choices and the chicken tacos were really good. The waitresses and customer service is really good. I would highly recommend the street tacos and the guacamole. The bar area can get a bit loud with some customers. But overall, it was a good experience.“
“Came on a Wednesday it started off slow but immediately got full. Food was decent could be better. Miss the old menu. Service tonight was great the best it’s been. She was attentive and friendly and took great care of my party. It’s a small place but worth visiting.“
“We went on a Saturday night. We have been to many comedy clubs over the years. This place was the cleanest venue we have visited. It seems to be designed for comedy. With that I mind our seats were extremely stage left but close to the stage but a lot of the jokes were hard to hear. The menu was diverse. The pork shanks and nachos were excellent. The service was the best we've had at a comedy club. This week's headliner was a disappointment but he has a national reputation so the club is trying to bring in top notch talent“
“First of all, Zoe is amazing at handling large groups effortlessly and with a great attitude! I asked her for her favorite 'fancy' cocktail, and it did not disappoint. I also was not expecting such good brisket in this bar, but DAMN. All around an great experience.“
“I come here often. The staff is wonderful. It's clean and safe and has free parking. Every Saturday they have a band. No cover/all ages. The food is "meh". The dance area is carpeted, which is kinda' a bummer if you are a dancer. It's an early venue that caters to an older crowd. The bands are of varying musical genres and usually some of the best our area has to offer. They have a small attached bar and a lovely covered patio. It's a nice place to bring a family or, especially, older relatives.“
“I dined in alone on evening while my wife was out of town. Sang, my server and the bartender made wonderful recommendations and was very helpful. I can't believe it took me 3 years to try this place. Now that I have I will absolutely be back. Food 10/10. I ate the soup for 3 days straight it was so huge. Order the Hue Spicy Noodle Soup & the Saigon rolls! So freaking delicious. Awesome neighborhood spot in an unassuming shopping strip.“
“Thomas was delightful! While we enjoyed our menue cocktails immensely, the two he made were fantastic! Loved his Train Wreck but I especially loved the spicy one (I think it was Northwest Heat or something along those lines). Thank you for a lovely end to our girls day!“
“Ohhh the Alley Cat. Depending on the day and time your experience can vary in this bar located on the 6th Ave “Strip” in T-town. Great place to pre and post funk since a heavy hand is the alley cat way…¯\_(ツ)_/¯ A spacious space with a pool table, dart boards, pinball machines and a patio, but when it gets packed it’s very packed so be warned, unless that’s what you’re looking for.Parking: Street parking“
“so we came here for the christmas pop up but they had the busy body food menu and it was so amazing. they have filipino inspired dishes: lumpia burger and tamarind fries were ones that i tried. the burger was SO juicy and flavorful.. i just wish it was on a harder style bun like a ciabatta to hold up to the juice it got a little mushy. but it was still delicious. the ambiance was great the servers were friendly and helpful with the menu. would highly recommend coming here - christmas pop up or not!“
“Best dining experience I've found in Gig Harbor hands down. The wild boar Osso Buco was good, but the chef crushed the braised shortrib. I'll definitely be ordering that next time. The Cambozola appetizer was subtle, sophisticated, and bright in just the right starter portion. The ambiance is fine. The designer had a soft spot for hexagons and textural elements, but the windows looking out on the harbor are just too small and too high for being so close to the water.“
“Friday late night-- definitely the place to be if you like to be in the Miyake of everything. It was packed. The service was still excellent and as to be expected given how busy they were. Some of the best food I've had. Unique and distinct flavor combinations make everything Pop! ? Everything was fresh too. Service with a smile.“
“Parking: There's plenty of parking in the lot for more than 20 cars.Kid-friendliness: This is a 21+ bar.Wheelchair accessibility: There's handicap parking and average height tables with movable chairs. There's handicap stalls in the bathrooms.“
“We sat down and instantly felt welcomed. We came from out of town + we couldn’t have asked for a better environment. The bartender which I believe was the owner was so friendly and fun! The servers even made efforts to talk to us and crack jokes, drinks were great! We definitely recommend for the saloon vibe!“
“The Powder Room has amazing ambiance, impeccable service, and an extraordinary selection of champagne paired with delectable dishes make this Tacoma gem a five-star experience. From the first sip to the last bite, every moment was pure indulgence. A must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of luxury in the heart of Tacoma.“
“Great for a day for relaxation and catching up with friends. Our meal was cooked to perfection and the flavors in every dish was well thought through. The view of Puget sound and Mt Rainer was breathtaking. No chill be close to such large windows. Great wine list. Staff was extremely attentive and was able to give space for a night out with friends. It was an extremely enjoyable evening. The beet salad is a good way to start off and clean your palate.“
