Our group of four had a delightful evening. We loved the atmosphere and ambiance. The best reason to come to Bar Sur Mer though is the creative cocktails and delicious small plates. Excellent oysters and clams along with perfectly prepared mackerel convince us that we need to return and try other choices. Loved the cheesecake to end the fine evening!
I wanted to try this place for a while and finally managed to treat ourselves down there . The interior design is very enjoyable , calm, relaxing and tastefully done . The food was good without being something to write more about but the drinks were delicious . This place being a « tapas » small plate kind of plate I would highly recommend it for appetizers or a romantic getaway , I’ll rate it 5 stars as it’s a really nice spot to have around and I really enjoyed it .

We absolutely love coming here. I will say now after coming probably 10 times or so... I'm no longer going to come here for dinner. The value just isn't worth it. We spent $100 a person and were still hungry when we got home. You just can't get anything substantial enough for a full dinner worth the price. Highly recommend for drinks and small bites though! I think it's one of the best bar programs in Seattle.
