Paid $69 per person plus tax and gratuity for a Christmas Eve buffet that was not advertised when we made the reservation. Nothing good in the buffet but we did get to choose a main dish from three options and surprisingly the two of us had to order only one and share it. We chose wagyu which turned out to be just five pieces cooked in a very mediocre way. Would’ve just got McDonald’s if I had known this when I made the reservation.

$69 per person only can choose one main dish to share. 5 pieces of beef for 2 people to share?????There is no information being buffet when making reservations online. For 69 per person they feed you with kimchi pancake and rice cake. And very bad service! No main dish for 30 minutes , people after us even get their main dish before us! Totally ruined our dinner date.

Mediocre attempt at elevated Korean BBQ. Fixed menu not advertised, I understand on holidays limits on menu selection but notify people when they make a reservation. Pretentious and inept wait staff. Either be good at your job and have the attitude or be a friendly idiot. But you cannot an idiot with an attitude. $65pp for the quality of a $40 all you can eat KBBQ hole in the wall.

I dined in, and I would recommend the duck sotbap. The duck was soft with lots of texture! The chicken wings were okay too but I would recommend tartar instead!

Bad service, every staff seemed tired and rude. Tastes of the dishes was just so so. Heavy sauce on everything and way too sweet. Won’t come back again.

Nice elevated Korean, I really like the rice cakes with beef cheeks. Maybe missing some heat?

Tasty food! Basque cheesecake is a must have
I would have given chan a 4/5, had we only stayed for apps and drinks. The apps were great. Had to tartar and bone marrow. Both done well and the tartar might be one of the best I've had in the city. Then came the entrees. Awesome concept but poorly executed. The dol-sot rice dish was soggy and soupy. No crispy bottom. It was bland and the duck was funky. I like duck and understand it can be gamey but this was almost inedible. The waygu samm was ok. Nice presentation but flavor lacked. The pork jowl dish was confusing. The pork was good. The whole dish was covered up with ssukgat and all over a bed of under cooked barley.
The worse part was the inattentive service. Ordered a cocktail at the start. Once we put in our entree order, we never saw our server until after we finished the meal. Was planning on ordering at least another round a drinks or a glass of wine with the meal.
This being said... I'd probably go back, but only for happy hour. We spent way too much money for the service and lack luster entrees. Really sucked too because I had high hopes from what I've seen on Instagram.

The friendly staff made the meal very enjoyable. We had the short ribs, Wagyu, Brussels sprouts, beef tartar and a bottle of soju. The beef tartar had a sesame oil accent making it taste very Korean influenced. The duck fried rice was amazing as well!!
Overall lovely and delicious!
Only downside was you need to go through hotel lobby and upstairs to get to restroom.

Strongly recommend the "Sot" menu.
I was able to enjoy warm rice and soft beef til done.
The chicken wing was good as well. Sauce was fantastic!
The only thing I was disappointed was.. they looked short staffed. Server refilled water just one person in my crews. They looked crazy busy.
However, I will visit here with my friends next time. The dishes soothed my anxious soul on the last trip in Seattle.

Was here for a work dinner. Therefore I can't comment on the prices, but my impression: it is on the expensive side. Very elegantly designed and presented plates. Enjoyed the service, found that servers did their utmost to be helpful. Re: ambience, tends to be noisy!
Dietary restrictions: May be a bit challenging if you're on a low-carb diet, might have to ask servers for special adjustments

This place is upscale and lively, with a great atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to find more vegetarian options on the menu than I expected, which is always a nice bonus. The food is Korean-inspired, and everything I tried was really good.
The standout dish for me was the sujebi. The noodles had this incredible flavor thanks to the perfect amount of perilla, adding a slightly bitter, earthy taste that really elevated the dish. It’s definitely something I’d recommend trying if you’re here.
The only thing I wasn’t too thrilled with was the cocktail—it could have been more flavorful and wasn’t as balanced as I’d hoped, a bit too sweet for my liking. But overall, the food and atmosphere more than made up for that.
If you’re into Korean-inspired cuisine and looking for a vibrant dining spot, this place is worth checking out!
Went here as a couple date. Had a reservation but it wasn’t too busy. We had the Brussel spouts, tuna tartar, and the sot bap. Everything tasted good but wasn’t really noteworthy other than the Brussel sprouts. The flavor and puréed sweet potato was really good. I probably wouldn’t order the other two again. Maybe the steak tartar is better. Maybe the sliders are better. Overall it was good, but I feel I could get similar for a lower price elsewhere.
