Hard to go back to store bought when you’ve had Milpa Masa tortillas. They’re easily the best tortillas I’ve had.The corn comes through, and each kind has distinct characteristics. Loved the bloody butcher corn tortillas as they had an earthy, almost meaty flavor to them.The owners are really sweet and friendly as well, always a joy to drop by and grab a bag!Oh and grab their cornbread if they have it, very light and corny ?.
Excellent, high quality, tasty, best in the city. We are from much further south and have been struggling to find the authentic flavor from home. Thank you Milpa Masa for the best holiday tamales we have had in years!!Not for nothing they also added hours around holidays, and then added more hours when the road conditions made our original pick up date impossible. Lovely owners with really authentic product.

That cornbread tho... I'm originally from Georgia and nobody makes cornbread better than their G-momma's cornbread... except Milpa Masa. Seriously, I NEVER thought I would utter such words, but hands down the best.
