Well, Muse has finally started moving back to its old self. The ambience is still drab, grey and unwelcoming, but the food can't be beat. They got rid of the General Manager they hired after letting the best General manager go. Whoever made that bonehead decision made a huge mistake. Getting rid of the small plates was also an unwise move. But, we tried Muse one more time, only because the Chef asked us to - and he does such an incredible job with his dishes. I enjoyed my meal although portions of the crab cakes were very small— only two small crab cakes are served with that order. I don't think the meal was worth the money even though most restaurants in Seattle charge too much. I enjoyed the fresh vegetables (which I had to order à la carte since the main dish comes with nothing else) which were varied enough and tasted fresh. No complaints with the service as waitstaff were all very nice and friendly.
What a lovely option for a relaxed and elegant pre-concert dinner. The cuisine was selectively curated, beautifully plated, and delivered with a smile. The local Albacore was excellent with a light cherry infused spritzer. It was hard to resist the apple cranberry cobbler topped with homemade vanilla ice cream, which was clearly popular.
