“It's really hard to find a table here, but once you get one, the service is pretty quick, which is great. I have been to Din Thai Fung in bay area but they didn't have many veg options at that time. My friends said they have added a lot of vegan dishes in their menu now, so we visited the Seattle location restaurant, and I was amazed with the variety they had this time. It was definitely better than before. My favorite was the cucumber salad and the veggie wontons. The veggie buns were okayish. I wish they had baos, too. I hope that they read my review and add it someday to their menu. I loved the chocolate dumplings, which can be eaten as dessert. It was delicious. I'm definitely going to visit this place again whenever i am on the West Coast . Hope they start one in Boston, too.Vegetarian options: Wontons and cucumber salad. Chocolate Dumplings too“
“My family and I came over here for celebration of My BD. Parking was a little challenging. The food was good.We love the baozi and wangton soup.Service Could be better, and the atmosphere was nice. We would be willing to come back and try them again ?I love all kinds of dishes.(BTW, pleae bring your own hot sauce if you love spicy.)“
“We have been coming here for years and Shanghai Garden is always excellent. Great for large parties of people. We ordered about 12 dishes for 10 very hungry people and every dish was excellent. It was about $25 per person, so the price was normal for Seattle. The eggplant, the hand shaved barley noodles and the orange chicken were excellent. We will keep coming back.“
“Coolest waiter ever, never seen someone so attentive and helpful when it comes to serving food. Also probably the best pricing in Seattle I feel like I’d be better off going here everyday than cooking at home. Basically ordered the entire menu under 3 people and it only costed 80 dollars which is nothing in this economy. (For the whole Menu) and the food is sooooo good one dumbling plate of 8 dumplings only cost 9 dollars which is worth 18“
“Absolutely delicious. We came here once for work and it was good enough we came back the next day!If it’s busy, be prepared to wait a bit for a table and for some of your foods - the kitchen can be the slow part. However, it’s amazinglyWorth it. Every dish we had felt authentic and was tasty.“
“This is my second time in a dumpling restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. Being a dumpling novice I was pleased that the server was patient and explained the menu along with recommendations. The food and ice tea was excellent! I will definitely return. Nice atmosphere too!“
“I love that this place is family friendly. The dishes are family style and the ambiance is just ok for kids. The dumplings never disappoint! We recently tried the spicy ones and it just might become a new favorite. Also judos to our waiter, Kevin, for the exceptional service for our party of 8 tonight!“
“Honestly really great option if you want some buns/dumplings and not in the mood to deal with the possible crowd or prices at Din Tai Fung. Really solid chain, and the Bellevue location is decently spacious. Clean spot and well-scattered seating. They have an online menu with pictures so that should be really helpful. The spicy beef pancake roll is always an absolute essential for me when I eat at these types of dumplings restaurants. I almost look forward to this dish more than anything else sometimes. The spicy version is not that spicy, and has more flavor. I'll always get spicy over non-spicy. Wontons are great, I think there were like 6-8 in there from what I remember. Q-Bao as described, is one of their featured dishes. Crunchy bottom, soft top with a soupy center. Careful biting into these as they are hot and juices will literally shoot out!“
“My husband and I come here often and we've never had a bad experience. There's never been more than a ten minute wait for a table and the food always comes out fast! When ordering you mark a menu card and they bring out the different shareable dishes as they're ready and staff consistently clears away empty dishes and checks on your table. We always order a bit too much and end up overstuffed at the end of our meal, so I definitely recommend coming hungry!“
“I had mostly dismissed this place as a chain restaurant. Which it is, but very well done! It’s in a good location, food is affordable and the service is prompt. I’m not an expert at the cuisine, but loved what we ordered. The kale salad was simple and delicious. The crab meat xiaolongbaos were the bomb.“
“小吃街 is a wonderful place to grab a quick munch and enjoy a wonderful mouthful of warm dumplings! In addition to dumplings, they serve noodles, various drinks, and even jiānbǐng.Parking: It is complimentary if your stay is less than an hour.“
“Simple decoration, authentic Chinese cuisine.Today I ordered seafood hot pot or spicy foreign pork noodles. Regardless of the side dishes and cooking methods, they all suited my taste. There was a lot of ingredients, and one hot pot with some ingredients was enough for two people. The waiters are very friendly and can communicate in Chinese.“
