Sloop Tavern, one of the oldest pubs in Ballard, offers a casual and low-key atmosphere with a great beer selection. The fish and chips were delicious, with fresh fish and crusty tempura batter. The hamburger with grilled onions was a hit, and the potato salad was superb. The bartender was friendly and efficient. A favorite spot for boaters, the tavern has its own yacht club. An excellent dive bar with a welcoming vibe, perfect for a stop before or after a visit to Golden Gardens.
