One of the best omakase experiences I've ever had. Chef really knows his fish, and lovingly takes diners on a journey on the fish, how it was chosen, aged and prepared. Watching him prepare and plate the fish was also a real treat. It's rather hypnotizing.Everything feels very intimate and more like you're eating dinner at a friend's very nice home. Assuming of course, that your friend also had access to some of the best fish available.Highly recommend, will come back.
One of the top 3 omakase experiences in Seattle, hands down. And I've been to them all, including Taneda, Scratch, Kashiba, etc.The texture and flavor of every single one of the 20 courses was nearly perfect. Not a single miss. And I left STUFFED unlike Scratch or Kashiba. Some really flavorful and unique dishes, like the marinated Bonito with a salad of shiso and onion.Service was adequate. Possibly the best meal of my life. We dined omakase and left full and very satisfied. The cook and server were very attentive and friendly, and clearly had fun along with the customers. The food was a wonderful blend of straightforward servings of high quality fish and some more adventurous and surprising dishes such as cod milt and a yuzu scallop. Truly one to remember and I can't recommend it highly enough.
