“Finally…! Best Cold Brew & Pour Over in Seattle!(Blossom: Ethiopia Guji & Prolog: Kenyan Kigari)Owners are warm, inviting, and respectful.Prefer a darker roast? Opt for an espresso w/ homemade cream.Delicious toast options. Highly recommend the Ricotta Tomato Toast. Quality healthy Avocado Toast.Seating fills up. A hotspot for college study sessions. Be prepared to wait or take to go.“
“This place is so damned good. Incredibly friendly and thoughtful service, a fun vibe and decor with tons of outdoor (and covered!) seating for those gorgeous days, and the food absolutely knocks you over. Delicious, creative, and high quality. I’ll be a regular for sure.“
“Outstanding atmosphere, service is always perfect, and the food is phenomenal! My gluten eating friends never complain when I ask to come here, they love it too. It’s so fun to be able to enjoy fish and chips again, they’re some of the best in the area.Vegetarian options: Plenty of delicious options and they are fantastic about making recommendations for modificationsDietary restrictions: Obviously a gluten free haven but they can accommodate other dietary needs like nut free, soy free, or dairy free. They know their menu well and take great care to ensure you have something safe to eat!“
“As a Californian I’m usually quite picky about Mexican food. However Carmelo’s passed the test for having fantastic high quality food that tasted authentic and delicious. I ordered from them several times while in Seattle (chicken burrito/ chicken quesadilla were best) and loved it every time! Highly recommend it to all Seattle visitors!“
“Came here during seattle restaurant week and took advantage of the great deal! I got the curry vermicelli bowl with tofu and it was very spicy but the kitchen was nice enough to add a bit more coconut milk to make it more mild. The hokkien wok noodles were also spicy but a lot more tolerable for me (I typically can't handle spice very well). The vietnamese coffee creme brulee was yummy and I would love to get it again! Super cute interior with snowboards and nice dim lighting. Great spot for a date night and I like the unique fusion menu“
“This is a small coffee shop attached to a creative space and has limited seating. Love the celebration of culture here. You will find a menu of Vietnamese coffee creations that aren't super common. We got the cà phê lá dúa (pandan condensed milk) hot. Pretty smooth, very light pandan flavor, and you still taste the dark, roasted coffee bean flavor. And they used this really cool Hermann cup design that hot drinks don't need a cup sleeve.“
“I have been here almost every single morning since I’ve tried this coffee place! I am totally addicted. I’m going to be bringing everyone I know here, it truly is the best and everyone who works here is so genuinely kind and helpful ❤️ also incredibly quick, quality service for the volume of people they can have! I am so happy to have found this place, I get the iced Salty Coffee please do yourself a favor and go here!!!“
“I was really excited to try this, as I'd heard a lot of great things about the mac & cheese hereStarting off with the good part, the penne pasta was a great choice here. It was really soft, and there was a good amount of itI feel like there was a really good ratio of cheese to pasta here, where the pasta felt really creamy but not overly cheesy - a great overall balancehowever, I'm just not sure this is that much better than mac and cheese I've had at other placesIn fairness, I've always been ambivalent about mac and cheese as a dish. I like it, but it's certainly not my go to whenever I see it on the menu, and I certainly wouldn't consider either a mac & cheese or a cheese aficionado in generalreading through these reviews, it seems that people are huge fans of cheese seem to love some specific qualities about this specific type of cheese, but for me, it certainly tastes good, probably above average, but i find it highly doubtful that this is truly the "world's best" mac & cheeseMaybe I'm just not picking up on the finer qualities of the dish, but to me the cheese is creamy and flavorful, but not special. It's something I'm glad I triedonce, and it was good, but I don't feel the need to try it againOverall, above-average mac & cheese, but nothing all-time. 7.75/10“
“This place is absolutely adorable and has the best vibe! The decor makes you feel like you’re in a safe place, and the service backs that feeling up. The food is fantastic too! Highly recommend attending Drag Brunch on Sunday, the queens are insanely talented and the atmosphere is electric! JT behind the bar is amazing, and the drinks are delicious and creative! Highly recommend the Buzz Bunny. Food-wise, Chicken and Beignets gives a wonderful twist on the classic chicken and waffles, complete with soft serve! You read that correctly. You really can’t go wrong with a visit to Kamp Social House, where you’ll be treated to an amazing meal by gorgeous and considerate humans!“
“Very charming neighborhood restaurant in Cap Hill. Food was great and ambiance 10/10. However, our server wasn’t very friendly /borderline rude which we looked past. I was also a bit disappointed in the quality of their craft cocktails featured for Cocktail week.“
“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle!Make the trip to the Green Lake neighborhood. The food is so well thought out and hyper local. The entire service staff exudes Michelin star knowledge. The wine team has curated one of the best by the glass programs/ bottle list in Seattle. Their attention to detail and sustainable practices is the scale of Nomad.Hands down the best dining experience in Seattle!“
“Superb food and staff! Excellent cocktail game and I love their Moroccan wines. Brothers Khalid and Aziz are top shelf people and owners. Every time we take guests there for the first time, they love it and often say it was one of their best meals ever! Get the harissa veggie, squid Steak and tenderloin for sure. Great specials always!“
“We are visiting from Chicago and noticed all the reviews so we had to try the sandwiches here. The reviews are NOT wrong. We had the turkey and havarti cheese sandwich with fig spread and the hot ham, egg and cheese. They were awesome!! The owner is so friendly! It’s a must eat here.“
“Nat our server was absolutely exceptional. We had a large birthday party on the patio and we can’t say enough great things about Nat and how well they handled our party. The food was amazing, we had quite a few vegetarians in our party and they couldn’t believe how good the vegetarian chicken tenders were. 10/10 spot for ambience, food and service!“
“Food is really good, well-priced, and plentiful. It's far enough away from Market to have plenty of parking around. It was cold but they had a couple of nice heaters to sit under - they could use a few more probably. Strongly recommend!“
“A good rock bar in the heart of the city of rock. The atmosphere is great with its musical selection of standards from the 80s/90s/early 2000s (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Blink-182, etc.). The beer is fresh and good, from the first prices. Same for cocktails. And above all, the cuisine is great: we opted for the vegetarian option, cauliflower cooked like chicken wings, and it was to die for.“
“3.5 Stars Trendy cafe with eclectic decor (fake plants, cartoons, selfie booth,Taylor Swift cardboard cutout (?) ). They did an incredible job on the branding (coolest logo ever)! The Banh Mih Dip ($15) was super tasty, thought it was priced a tad on the high side for the size. Unfortunately, that specific day I was also hoping it would be a healthier option than it was but ah well lol, gotta live. The description said it would have a slathering of pate (I love pate) but it really was more mayo heavy if anything (was the pate forgotten? hmm). It was delicious dipped in the broth (the soft crispy baguette soaks it up). Sort of reminded me of a cheesesteak. Really messy to eat. The brisket was on the fatty side, which I prefer - yum! BF got the chicken vermicelli bowl ($17) which he enjoyed. They are very busy, limited seating inside. Located in pioneer square. Order a the counter and the staff bring your order out with a smile :)“
“Bongos is a fusion style restaurant serving unique dishes from a few different nationalities. I ordered the gumbo and the jerk chicken plate. The gumbo was tasty but definitely not southern style as expected. The jerk chicken breast was super juicy ? but I found it lacked flavour. The value for food here is really good.I have to mention that all dishes are being served in plastic containers and cutlery that are not even being recycled, this is horrible. Serve your customers some real plates and metal utensils, I can't even imagine the amount of waste coming out of here. Get it together!“
“A nice quality old school drive through, simple burger and shake place that has never failed to meet my expectations. Highly recommendParking: It can be a little tight to park as this place shares parking with the surrounding business, never had an issue though on the weekend“
“I am often n this neighborhood..needed a lift one day so I went in there. Had no idea what to order because it's a whole new world of coffee drinks. I was a barista for 20 some yrs and I feel like I've seen it all. I stand corrected! *Let me first say this; I in no way intend on steering anyone away from trying this place based on my future statement If a small business, an original of it's kind, one that is not majorly marketed/advertised wants to actually "make it" and stand the test of time; not just do ok and finance some short term goals for the owners. They must think out entirely what it is that generates sustainable customer base. What inspires customers to extend themselves and share w others again and again both positive and negative, within food type experiences? As a naturally curious person, this concept has always been a fascinating one for me. How can businesses get it so wrong/right!? * That being said..It was a fluke the day I entered this place for the first time that a fellow customer walk in and feel like sharing w me the best drink ever for them, one they get repeatedly, and should just take their advice and try it. So, I did. Yep, I'm hooked! It's the only drink I get there and how I look forward to it in between splurges! Let it be noted that if it was not for the other customer, I'd still likely not know what to order or even be writing this book right now. You see, the employees of this great coffee shop are so so untrained/familiar w the concept of, just because you know something doesn't mean anyone else does..and if you are in the business of appeal and temptation/weakness intrigue and indulgence instigating, well you should know everything there is to know about the product and be fluent in it's language. Why am I spending my time sharing this w an unknown audience? It's just in my nature I guess. You see, I really like this place and I am fascinated by their product. I am however so perplexed by their aloofness and lack of connection w the exact people they are there to attract. How do we know what to order, and why should we..how can I not live without including their product in my life on a regular basis?! Because this concept has seemingly missed them completely (the owners) it totally takes a huge part of the impact of how great their product is; away! I mean like literally. After I ordered my same drink around 7-8 times, I was ready to branch out. I've attempted to receive intrigue from the workers w such a failure rate it's a shame. So, I have remained ordering the same ol same ol and it's become redundant and irrelevant. I am slipping away new favorite coffee shop, can't you tell? I now have negative feelings towards you along w the excitement of the new to share w people. Does it take a genius to realize this is no good? Do I want to continue dumping $12-15 each visit (just on my drink and tip) when there is no connection, no interest in what it is they can do to keep me interested? The answer is no probably not. I'll give them a few more chances maybe, then I'll drift away w the open mind of discovering a new favorite coffee shop. Maybe this is why some giants in the same category, irregardless of how actually delicious their product is but more that every single thing they create they r experts in convincing us we must try and love and continue to consume and love and try again , repeat, repeat, repeat, they have stood the test of time? They figured this magic out first, then opened their doors!(PurpleHaze- iced!!!!!)“
“Super friendly and helpful staff & food was great! Even the doggo was invited in when it started sprinkling outside which I appreciated it :) They have lunch size pizza pies which was perfect since there were a few different flavors I wanted to try. I actually really did like the clam chowdah one - a unique option! Food takes a little while but it's because it's actually freshly made so ordering in advance and picking up wouldn't hurt if you're short on time.“
“Great spot with tons of brews. So many options. About 50 taps to choose from if you want to drink there, and more cans and bottles to go than you can imagine. Food trucks are typically outside for food while you're there. I'll be back!“
“We had an amazing dinner at a specialty pizza restaurant in Seattle named Sunny Hill. It’s a little hole in the wall that has the best Pizza and appetizers in Washington. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.“
“Beer Star gets a 5-star from me. They have an incredibly expansive selection of beer offers as well as wine and other non-spirit based alcohols.I hosted my birthday here and they comfortably accommodated 20 people to have drinks and watch football while. It is a big plus that children can be in most places of the venue space. In addition, you can either bring outside food in to dine or choose from one of the two restaurants attached to Beer Star and choose from burgers or pizza. This is a treasure in White Center.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. The scallops were excellent and my partner loved his Oyster appetizer and 1/2 chicken dinner. The service was attentive while not intrusive. I wish we'd been seated inside as the covered patio was chilly...I didn't remove my coat. I saw spots open inside so not sure why we had to sit out there. Overall though I did enjoy the experience and would go back.“
“If you appreciate authenticity and being at the top of your game, in terms of food, drinks and staff, Life on Mars is for you. They are good people caring for their little corner of Capitol Hill, and damn that's a tough thing to do sometimes, yet still they persevere. So grateful this place exists.“
“I ordered half a pound of brisket, half a pound of spare ribs, hot and spicy sausages, and Mac & cheese to die for.? I’m all in!!Smoky brisket and ribs melt in your mouth. Everything is perfect and the Spicy BBQ sauce was Amazing!?There is a patio in the back, felt like we were in the countryside, looking at huge smoker grills.Highly Recommended!!“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️Was aimlessly wandering SeaTac and stopped by to try a sample…the sweetest woman introduced me to my new favorite coffee. I was nervous about the taste after attempts to choke down dirt water (other mushroom coffee alternatives), these are SO GOOD! Very smooth. The night time tea is also delicious if you like chamomile ☕️“
“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.“
“We finally got here on Christmas Eve. Easy parking!Steve was very welcoming and took care of everybody very well.We got our drinks in record time - a great Dirty Martini, and beer my husband liked. Then fried spring rolls, very tasty! Gochujang wings were nicely spiced and very crispy! There was a special of stewed pork with 5 spice that was so good I wanted a big plate of it! And so many more things to try! We hope to be regulars on weeknights.“
“Always good to visit Puffy Pandy on a leisure afternoon to sip a Ube Latte (btw, quite a strong coffee!!) while having a Cream puff! This time I also bought a couple of boxes of cream puffs, macaroons for my friend who just moved to the area: Great soft music, atmosphere and always great team of people working. The team takes times to explain to us of what their products are and how we can customize our experience - above all, they make sure the experience is enjoyable and comfortable for everyone. Looking forward to my next visit, every time.“
“they do special donuts every 4 weeks. so if you like new recipes and different kinds of treats, they are definitely your go to. they don't make a lot so, their line is usually wrapped around the block and once they're out, they're out. first come, first serve. well worth it!!!!“
“Finally made it here for lunch takeout today and we loved everything we tried. We tried each of the vegetarian empanadas and also the beef, chicken, and tuna. All very tasty! We also bought a variety of cookies that were delicious. The person who helped us was very nice. We will return.“
“We absolutely loved our experience here last night! Josie was our server and did a phenomenal job. We did the tasting menu and were thrilled with the generous portions and the pacing. We had our 9 month old baby with us and we were able to keep him entertained the whole time with fresh bread and a filet of salmon.“
“If you are looking for a vegan restaurant near the Space Needle this is one of the better place to visit! It takes about 10 mins to reach by cab. It’s a cute little restaurant with good ambience! We tried Kati satay for appetizer. And for the main course we tried curry fried rice and khao soi!! The food tasted very good and the service was pretty quick!Overall it was a pleasant experience!“
“$20 flights are just stupid.. $5 per 5oz makes zero sense whatsoever when 16oz is $8. Like I just wanted to sample a few flavors and then buy a pint of the one I like.. why do i have to feel like an absolute idiot to do so. Ciders were fine and great they allow kids and dogs.“
“got the Gyro Saj Shawarma & Greek Friesthis contained two main things - the sandwich and the greek friesfirst, i thought the sandwich was pretty goodwhile not using pita bread, which is typical for a gyro and usually what i prefer, this place used more of a tortilla for the breading insteadi did think this bread was toasted very well and the overall outside of the wrap was goodas far as the inside, i very much liked the way the ingredients were packed into the wrapwhile it may not look super big, each half of the sandwich was packed really tightly with a lot ofdifferent ingredients - which made it really fillingthis also let the flavors really combine since they were mixed up in close proximity inside the sandwichthe sandwich also scores high in portion size - it really had a lot of meat and overall ingredientsthe meat inside the sandwich was good - not greatwhere this disappointed me a bit was in the greek fries - there wasn't enough white saucethe cheese was decent - but the lack of sauce made the fries not really stick to the cheese that mucha lot of fries were just dryso these were still decent, but i've certainly had a lot betteri did like the crisp on theseSandwich: 8.5/10Greek Fries: 7/10Overall: 8.15/10“
“Incredible foot with friendly service.Be prepared for a long line. It is worth the wait.We ordered avocado toast and two bread fried egg sandwich with bacon. Both items were awesome. For the road, we purchased a chocolate croissant. It was the BEST thing we have eaten in a long while!!!! Flakey and tasty.Highly recommend SAINT BREAD“
“Super delicious ginger beer with LOADS of options for different flavors and experiences. My favorite flavor they offer is the white tea one!Must be 21+ to enter. Offers flavored ginger beer, alcohol, slushies, and ice cream floats (softies).“
“Took my fiance here with my mother for my fiance's birthday. It also happened to be Easter ?. The staff was still operating at top notch although other places were straight up closed. Glad we walked it.We ordered the seared octopus which was according to my mother who is an octopus fanatic some of the best she's ever had ??..., the scallops which were my favorite (5⭐)... and the spicy steam clams which my fiance adored (delicious green curry base). Over all amazing experiences for grabbing some cocktails and a small bite with friends or family. Come show this place some love so it can stick around ?“
“Electric experience. Can’t wait to go back again. Food was authentic, bursting with flavor ! Order the chicken rice and enjoy that chilli sauce. Mix it up with the khai soi noodles and end your time with the mango sticky rice. Flush the whole thing with that Thai iced tea drink. You won’t regret!“
“Stopped in today for lunch and got a pulled pork bbq sandwich, it was the best I've had since I moved from Texas! The food was amazing, the staff was so friendly and kind, and the atmosphere was so chill. If you're looking for comfort food in a comfortable setting, you can't beat this place.“
“First time trying and OMG sooo good!!! Inside is kinda small but open seating that like opens it up so it doesn't seem as small. I had the spicy chicken sandwich combo with the like first notch of spicy and it was just right!! Chicken is juicy and huge piece on my sandwich. Fries were excellent. Definitely going here again. Must try if you haven't!“
“Fantastic beer and a great vibe with the people (both staff and customers). Every time I'm in there, I dig how many "regulars" are in there and known by the staff. There's an obvious connection with the neighborhood residents, plus they're pretty good with the out-of-towners like me! Get there and throw one down!“
“I’m in town for a workshop. I wanted to have some beer handy at the Airbnb so I could wind down after the day. Stopped in at Georgetown brewing Company and wow, what a cool place. Nice mix of people. The bartender made a suggestion, and let me know that the hops were Citra, I said, that was great, because I love Citra and Mosaic. Then he told me that they had a very popular beer with both of those hops in it. I had a taste and left with a four pack. And, yeah, parking was easy which is always a plus.“
“Everyday for weeks, my good friend and roommate, Sydney, would not stop talking about wanting a Korean Rice Dog. It got to the point that if she mentioned Korean Rice Dogs one more time, I thought I might combust on the spot. Therefore, one fateful day, we headed to the only spot in Seattle that would properly fulfill her dream of tasting a Rice Dog—Chung Chun in the International District.Chung Chun is inside a Mochi Donut shop. It’s a small place and occasionally it has a line outside. The inside wasn’t the cleanest, but it’s fine because it’s practically a walk-up window. There is a small counter for eating, but there is only room for 6-8 people. The pricing was affordable.I firmly believe that Chung Chun is the best rice dog restaurant in Seattle. They fry them fresh, have at least 8 different options, and a wall of sauces to choose from. This is an authentic experience, and isn’t touristy. You can get sugar on your rice dog, which seems more American than Korean, but I’m sure it’s customary. We all ordered the potato rice dog and they were excellent. Piping hot, just the way mother used to make it. The crunch brought tears to Sydney’s eyes. We all were overjoyed seeing her dreams come true. She described the experience at Chung Chun as heavenly.I would not eat here often, as my cholesterol would shoot through the roof, but if you’re in the mood for rice dog, this is the place to come! The service was very friendly, and the girl who served us seemed like she genuinely loved working at Chung Chun. She probably knew that she was granting Sydney’s ultimate wish though, and who wouldn’t smile about that!Kid-friendliness: Kids will like this food.“
“Molly moon's is my favorite ice cream place in cap hill! I always like their flavors. Tried the earl grey tea this time. My partner got the cookie dough. My only complaint about Molly Moon's is that the cookie dough is oatmeal cookie dough, which I hate, but that's a my preference kind of thing because my partner loves it. The servers are always helpful and kind and it's always busy. There are only a few places to sit inside so it's likely you'll need to take it to go, but you can always cross over to the park to enjoy it on a nice day!“
“Popped in here randomly one time and got a strawberry sando which was so delicious. BUT every time I try to come back it’s closed and I can’t find anything about their hours (googles are clearly incorrect)… like… when are yall open??“
“It's my first time buying here. I am Venezuelan and I have wanted to try these donuts for a long time. I bought the one with guava cheese and 3 milks. Very rich! The only thing is that I didn't like the chocolate base on the 3 leches donut. But I did want to come back and try others on the menu. The hours are a little complicated but I was lucky enough to walk around the area early and visit the store :)“
“I finally got the chance to try this spot after seeing it pop up everywhere since opening! They serve cultured gelato, which means that it has the tangy notes of froyo but the smooth texture of gelato. When we came they were doing girl scout cookie flavors! They were super kind and let us sample a ton of flavors - I tried the thin mint, coconut ube, lemonade, and marionberry. Ultimately I decided to get the thin mint and coconut ube in the smallest size. They PACKED that onto the cup - the first scoop was literally to the brim already, and the second was layered on top. Super appreciative of that, but I didn't end up finishing it all because it was so much haha. The thin mint was my favorite of the two, as it had less of that tangy aftertaste. The ube flavor was nice and prevalent, but the tang was quite strong and after a few bites I started to get more bothered by it. However, I would highly recommend getting the thin mint if you happen to stop by during this time. Service was so friendly and I would still very highly recommend this spot!“
