“My experience at New Gangnam BBQ IV was largely enjoyable, as I found many aspects of the dining experience to be quite pleasing. While I appreciated the flavors of the meat, I did notice that it was slightly under-salted, though still enjoyable overall. One aspect that detracted from my experience was the wait time for service, which seemed a bit longer than expected. Additionally, the restaurant was quite crowded during my visit, which made the atmosphere a bit hectic and noisy.Despite these minor drawbacks, I still found New Gangnam BBQ IV to be a good dining option. The quality of the food, despite the slight seasoning issue, was satisfying, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. Overall, I would consider it a worthwhile dining destination, albeit one that may require a bit of patience during busy times.Vegetarian options: Salad barDietary restrictions: You can choose what you eat hereParking: Good parkingKid-friendliness: Saw some kids here and their is highchairsWheelchair accessibility: Ramp“

“Delicious vegan and gluten-free ice cream, plus waffle cones! Find ice cream that's both gluten-free and dairy-free is enough of a challenge, that I had given up on ever having an ice cream "cone" again. This was a real treat! I tasted several flavors and they were all delicious. The staff was also very helpful in looking up other ingredients to consider for any allergies. Instead of getting a full scoop, I decided to split one between two seasonal flavors: Carrot Cake and For the Love of Lemon. Both were wonderful! My spouse ordered a full scoop of Jamocha Chaga Fudge. He was amazed and kept asking, "How did they make it so creamy?" The plant-based ice cream truly is "Plant Magic!" We will be back!“

“We came for dinner tonight and we were greeted with the welcoming staff and their smiles. That set the stage for the evening. We started off with virgin mojito. It was refreshing and tasty. Then we ordered the mojito platter for appetizer which included the yucca fries, tostones and fried plantains. For entrees we had camarones Carmen Miranda, vaca frita and pescado mojito. Every single dish we tried were so perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated and delicious. You can tell that each dish is made with love. The flavors in each dish will remind you of a destination so far away, a culture represented in its food. We finished off our meal with the desserts, quesillo and tres leches. Both were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try the rest of the dishes in their menu. This is a hidden gem. Luam, the owner is an amazing host, he’s the owner. “IT'S NOT FISH! It looks like fish and the texture is firm like fish, but when you see it irl you can tell it doesn't quite catch the light the same way, and the flavor is lacking the distinctive taste that salmon has, and the deep buttery flavor of tuna. However, the rolls we got were all very flavorful and well-prepared. I especially liked the crunchy salmon roll, I think is what it was. And the one we got with tempura "shrimp". The seaweed salad was delicious too. I would definitely like to come back.“

Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. Because of the lack of seating, they sat us at the chef's table, which was neat, because we could watch them cook and the line run. Just a note: the seats at the chefs table were pretty uncomfortable (just a small wooden bar stool with no back). “Nestled in an unassuming strip of Roosevelt , Amazing Thai is a true hidden gem that serves up some of the most authentic and flavorful Thai cuisine in town. This family-owned and operated eatery may be small and unassuming from the outside, but step inside, and you'll be transported straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok. The menu is a love letter to traditional Thai cooking, with each dish meticulously crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored recipes passed down through generations. The aromas alone are enough to set your senses alight, with the perfect blend of fragrant herbs, spices, and aromatics wafting through the air.On our latest visit, we indulged in two of their signature dishes: the Pad Thai and the Red Curry Chicken, both served with a generous portion of perfectly cooked jasmine rice. The Pad Thai was a revelation – a harmonious balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors, with perfectly cooked rice noodles, tender chicken, crunchy bean sprouts, and a sprinkling of crushed peanuts. Each bite was a explosion of textures and tastes, leaving us craving more with every mouthful. The Red Curry Chicken, however, stole the show. This rich, velvety curry was brimming with complex flavors – a masterful blend of coconut milk, red curry paste, and aromatic spices. The tender chicken pieces were cooked to perfection, absorbing the essence of the curry, while the vibrant red hue hinted at the layers of heat and depth that awaited. What truly sets amazing Thai apart is the love and care that goes into each dish. The family takes immense pride in their culinary heritage, and it shows in every bite. From the meticulously prepared ingredients to the perfectly balanced flavors, every aspect of the meal is a testament to their passion for traditional Thai cuisine. While the restaurant itself is a no-frills affair, the warm hospitality and friendly service more than make up for the lack of ambiance. And let's be honest – when the food is this good, who needs fancy decor?Amazing thai has become our go-to spot for weekly takeout, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Whether you're a seasoned Thai food lover or a curious newcomer, this hidden gem is sure to delight your taste buds and leave you craving more. A well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars!“

The Tin Table American • $$

“The Tin Table is one of my go-to spots on the Hill! LGBTQ owned and operated--the staff are always so welcoming and remember my regular drink order. They never give me a hard time about not wanting any blue cheese on my cheese plate. The seasonal veg appetizers are always INCREDIBLE. I often take my fries, cheese, or dessert into the Ballroom to finish munching while dancing gets started. They just redid the seating and decor--now there are cute cozy loveseats, warm lighting on each table, etc. Super "Instagramable" if you're into that. Overall, the Tin Table is the perfect mix between cozy neighborhood restaurant/bar and slightly upscale vibes. I doubt you could manage to under OR overdress here.Wheelchair accessibility: There's an elevator in the hallway--if entering from Pine, just keep going straight past the stairs. Spacious ADA stall in the bathroom “

“Ordered this on Uber Eats to have a quick bite at my hotel while in town. I was a little worried on how this would travel but was pleasantly surprised that it came hot and secure. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) bowl with sweet garlic chicken and added an over easy egg and a side of Napa kimchi (not my favorite). The chicken was super tasty but wish there was a little bit more in the bowl. It also came with spicy pickles (amazing!) and a creamy sesame sauce (YUM), which went perfectly.“

“Seriously one of the best and cozy coffee shops I’ve been to. The staff is very helpful and kind and the shop itself is kind of small but in a very warm and cozy way. It has a really nice and welcoming vibe. On top of that the almond and ham and cheese croissant were excellent. The vanilla latte my boyfriend and the iced matcha latte I bought was very tasty as well. Will definitely be coming back on our future trips.“

“What excellent customer service I received today from Baljid, the man who picked up the phone when I called. My friend is stuck in UW Medical Center up the street and was craving butter chicken. Was confused with grub hub/uber eats so i decided to call. BALJID picked up and took my order. Even suggested dishes. I ended up ordering butter chicken with extra sauce and rice, pakora, and garlic naan. The chef cooked the food to perfection. The staff/delivery staff followed my detailed instructions of how to get the food to my friend in the hospital. Within the hour I got notification, my friend received the delicious food and was so joyful and happy. She wrote back: "HUGE PORTIONS!!! Only thing missing was you!" awwww!!! Thank you BALJID and Jewel Of India for helping me make my friends day with some delicious indian food.“

“We were initially drawn by the artistry of Carla’s design and exquisite sugar flowers, but the flavor and texture of the cakes sealed the deal for us. We tasted a wide range of innovative flavor combinations, and easily found something that we both loved. She was also able to accommodate dietary restrictions – making a small gluten-free, dairy-free cake to go along with the primary cake. She worked with us to keep us on budget and delivered a stunning and delicious cake. We kept the top for ourselves and enjoyed it during our honeymoon and we fully intend to order a small cake to celebrate our anniversary!“

“Came for the first time today to try out the vegan Mac and cheese w vegan chorizo. I’m not a vegan however I am abstaining from meat/dairy for Ethiopian orthodox fasting right now and was really craving cheese. I had low hopes for vegan Mac and cheese but was incredibly surprised how creamy/cheesy-flavored theirs was! The vegan chorizo tasted more like ground beef than chorizo but still, it didn't taste like I was eating “fake” ingredients! I highly recommend for vegans and even non-vegans!Vegetarian options: I only had the mac and cheese/chorizo but the menu looks like it accommodates quite a few of their recipes into vegan/vegetarian“

“I LOVE Miro tea. Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. As you can probably tell from my photos, they also have pastries from Seattle bakeries. The pots of tea are nice because they will give you more hot water if you run out. I like the feeling and look of their mugs. It gets really busy during the weekends so if you want a more pleasant experience I would go during the week (I have to work so I don’t go during the week but I assume it’s less busy?) or right when it opens weekend mornings. I also like that it’s open a bit later than most tea or coffee shops. It was one of the very first places I went to when I moved to Seattle (and was feeling very scared and unsettled). It made me happy to be here.“

“I was raised by Sicilian family in Brooklyn New York. I take seriously my Italian gravy. I received a flyer from Palermo so I decided to check it out. I went and ordered a glass of Chianti and asked for a sample of their base marinara sauce. The owner Ivo without hesitation brought the wine and the sample sauce. After a teaspoon of the gravy I approved. It was sweet, fresh spices and well made. Ivo says he adds Chianti and fresh blended spices and herbs in the sauce… no wonder. I said if this is the base for his pastas and pizza I’ll be a regular. Buon gusto! Pio of Loyal Heights, Seattle“
