“As the only Mexican restaurant on the Ridge, it represents that cuisine very well. It's not much of a sit down experience, but there is ample seating if that is your jam. They are fast, friendly and reasonably priced. We like to grab it to go and head over to No Boat when we're not a fan of the food truck for the day.The food is solid, and as a bonus they serve breakfast food anytime!“
“The food and drinks were both amazing. I went here with 7 people and all of us loved everything we tried. Definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: There are a few labeled vegetarian items on the menu, and all the ones we tried were delicious, but it was a somewhat limited selection.“
“This place has been a favorite for years now. If you want to feel like you are in interior Mexico, with genuine fresh food and the warmth of the culture, this is your place! Outdoor seating, indoor seating, incredibly helpful and kund staff, and true interior Mexican food! Bravo, Rio Bravo!☆☆☆☆☆ ps take home for Movie night!!“
“This place is absolute fire. We went in tonight and got take out. Asada fries, pollo Crema, burrito, both salsas and both desserts. We live 15-20 minutes away and our food was still hot when we got home. Everything tasted so fresh. The asada fries and flan were my favorite but everything was great. None of the meat was dry and it was so flavorful. I haven’t had Mexican food this good in a while. The seating jn the restaurant are in need of some TLC but we weren’t eating there anyways and the place overall seemed clean and they have an excellent rating for food safety which is always a plus in my book.“
“Great meal after riding the North Bend train. Just a short walk over on a Saturday and found this small family run tamale spot. The tamales were great, the corn salad and queso were delicious and hit the spot. Very friendly and quick service. Give them a try!“
“Tasty food with a cheerful interior. Staff is very friendly and service is extremely fast. The portions are large and affordable. If you’re cold and hungry after a day of activities in the mountains, this is the perfect place to stop on your way back home.“
“Right by the river our first time here at El Caporal in a historical building..Great service..friendly and attentive our server was taking care of everybody with a smile.. and the food is so so good, that I ordered an extra plate for home. We had Chile Relleno and Carne Asada... very yummy. Next time when we are in the area we will be back for more..Gracias El Caporal.“
“Have never had bad food here. Blackberry Marqurita's are excellent. Best tortilla soup. You can have complimentary chips, fresh salsa, guacamole, green sauce with pork, beans and or sour cream. While you wait. They have a really good bacon cheese burger❣️The southwest steak burrito is good it has zucchini, summer squash , black beans to just name a few of it's contents.Camarones(shrimp)Happy hour during week in bar think it's 3- 6Special menuThey do have a senior and kids menuKid-friendliness: Kids in the dining room“
“We decided to grab lunch here to try it out for the first time! The interior is bright, clean and inviting. Loved that they had comfortable booths. Chips and salsa were great - the salsa is no joke, very spicy! Our server was super friendly and attentive. I had the Lunch Fajitas with chicken, husband chose a combo platter with a chicken enchilada, burrito and taco. Everything was super fresh and tasted great! We originally hail from SoCal, so we are a little biased when it comes to good Mexican food, but this was really good and we felt like everything was very reasonably priced. While it was just the two of us this time, we did like that they had quite an extensive kids menu - a definite plus for picky eaters! We will definitely be back with the family, for sure!Kid-friendliness: They had a great kids menu with both Mexican options (tacos, quesadillas, rice and beans, etc.) and also some American choices (cheeseburger, chicken tenders, fries, etc.). I feel like everyone in the family could find something they would enjoy!“
“We had an excellent experience. Felicia, who stated she was new, was a wiz at taking our order. And when she overheard me saying that I thought my meal came with mexi fries, she went and got me some and didn't charge me. She delivered our food to us and was pleasant the entire time to everyone she waited on. So come on people, be a Felicia in the world“
“Excellent food and fair prices! The food portions are good size. The good folks who run the food truck are very kind, easy to work with when making special request, and always have a smile on their face.Highly recommend this really good food truck when visiting downtown Snoqualmie or the Falls. The food truck is a few steps from downtown sitting in the bowling alley parking lot makes for a great lunch and sitting along the Snoqualmie River just a few feet away makes it the perfect lunch or dinner date.“
