“When my friend and I are in the mood to go out dancing we head to Dawson's. I find a lot of Joy in dancing and don't mind dancing all night by myself. We especially like to go when the T-Birds are playing. The last time we went my dentist Dr. Hickey was filling in for them. Next time I go, I will probably be when he is playing with his band. “Never had a diner like restaurant servers open the door for me but they do here if they are near it and you are walking up, interesting not sure if it's policy though.The garlic fries are really good. I can't tell if the fries are made in house but I get the feeling they might be.I've had the Western Burger a few times, they definitely don't skimp on bacon or burger patty.Overall feels like a local community diner.“

“Went in on a Thursday afternoon with my friend for a drink and a bite to eat. We happened to go during happy hour so our drinks were $3.50 !!!!!!! Needless to say mama got a cheap buzz so that's a good start right there. Typical bar food ... I got the chicken strip basket + fries it was yummy. Terry the bartender was such a sweetheart. She was slangin' drinks AND making all the food. She was busy but was still so attentive and nice. My girlfriend and I plan to come back and see her. I love a good dive and this is one of my new favorites. laid back atmosphere and cheap strong drinks.“

“I was craving deep fried pickles, so i googled it and this place came up. Me and my wife sat at the bar, ordered our food to go and had a couple beers while we waited. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive to us even with a full saturday night crowd. When we got home, i regretted getting the "stupid hot" sauce on my wings because DAMN! Lol. I love spicy, and the name lives up the heat. Luckily, i also got some garlic parmesan wings that were delicious, the deep fried pickles and a side salad. We cant wait to come back and dine in.“

“This place was excellent. The food was really good and you got a lot with your order. The service was really good, we had a larger group and the waitress got all of the orders right and even was able to remember where most of them went.It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it!“

“I'm biased so I'll be simple. The atmosphere is great to enjoy a game, have a drink and eat amazing food. I love their breakfast, I'm a biscuits and gravy guy and they have the best around. I love the kraken tea it's... you should try it. Ask the burgers are great, the sides are well thought out and the entrees never fail to impress me.“

“Doing a short road to from Portland to Seattle and needed lunch- the best answer is not to get off the freeway and drive into Olympia - nope, stop here- quick on and off the freeway- the food is really good, the portions are large and well priced. It's Friday so, while the steamer clams looked great I went for the fish and chip special. Comes with a couple of pieces of fish, fries, slaw and a cup of clam chowder- all pretty great. Partner, also had a cup of chowder but, attempting to set a good example had a half salad and it was also good and a very ample portion. However he was casting an envious eye at my, probably less healthy but yummy plate. Being a more than amply serving I did share everything but the fish- nope all mine. With a good tip as yelpers always do- under $40.00- and, since it's a road trip enjoy the super clean bathrooms. An added benefit is the very short drive down the road to the Nisqually delta bird reserve. Even if you just drive in and take a short walk around the headquarters building it's a great way to get out of the car and stretch. So, a great meal and a visit to the bird reserve. Do yourself a solid, give these nice people your money - and say hello to the birds.“

“Honestly my type of establishment. Pro tip, try the lumpia. It's scrumptious as all get out. Waitress/ Bartender/ a lot of things is a gem. Looking forward to heading back and trying out more of the menu ♤Would give more than 5 stars if I could.“
