My wife and I were in town this past weekend and stopped by for dinner Saturday night. We were warmly greeted by the manager and sat at a table. Being from Texas, i was impressed with the sweet tea. My wife ordered the catfish strips, greens and mashed potatoes w/gravy. I had the chicken & waffles with yams and Cornbread dressing with gravy. This place had a cool, laid back diner atmosphere with great service and food. We had breakfast and their chicken fried steak and beef bacon were new and delicious to us. The gravy was some of the best I've had - flavorful, yet not overly salty.The fella working the counter and tables was very friendly and attentive.What an absolute gem!
