“This is one of my favorite places to go in Tacoma. The food is awesome, the music is cool, the atmosphere reminds me of my younger years of frequenting goth clubs, and they have pinball and skee ball, and a couch to sit on. If I had to say anything negative, it's that parking can be challenging, but that's just 56th street in Tacoma and nothing the Church Cantina can help. Great place to be on a Saturday night.“
“Look no further, this is the truck you have been searching for. Deep flavor, hint of smoke, very balanced spices and seasonings. Even the sauces that come with the food are amazing. Definitely saving whatever sauce is left to drizzle on later!“
“I was pleasantly surprised by this place, a literally shining light in the dark in one of the shadier parts of the greater Tacoma area. Food was fresh and plentiful, a much better value than established chain restaurants. I've tried nearly every burrito within a 100 mile radius and I highly recommend giving this small local business a chance.“
“I got a breakfast burrito it was awesome my only complaint was that it took a while to get it but I wasn't mad because the lady was taking orders and cooking by herself and it still came out great. Manager needs to hire more help they have good food just the service is a bit slow.“
“Very authentic feel here and absolutely amazing value for money. The beans and rice were absolutely perfect and the fish taco/birria some of the best we have had in US. Service is also fast and excellent. They also have a salsa stand with a wide variety of toppings which comes in handy. Also generally large portion sizes so order accordingly!“
“We ate here late at night at the happy hour, the menu had good choices and the chicken tacos were really good. The waitresses and customer service is really good. I would highly recommend the street tacos and the guacamole. The bar area can get a bit loud with some customers. But overall, it was a good experience.“
“Really the best Mexican food around, especially if you like socal style taco shops. I dropped a star because two of the three times that I've bought a $5 cup of their delicious salsa they didn't include it and I left without checking... so yeah check your bag before you “
“Great service, amazingly friendly, chill atmosphere, super legit food. Love the spread! The asada Street tacos were beyond loaded! The burrito Supreme was tasty, not too heavy, and texturally perfect. Always go for the tajin esquites, ngl I add a Lil crema. There were so many more options I'm dying to try in the future, especially the asada frys...a ton of peeps were ordering them on our brief wait for our food...it's now a thing until i try them! Only negative, you gone get fat...bc tacos!...BRING CASH FOR TIPS! plenty of covered seating, open Tuesday through Sunday 11-7pm, don't let them leave us Puyallup!“
“This came recommended as the best fish & chips in Tacoma. Not only did it exceed expectations, the Oysters were excellent too!It offered a wide assortment of fresh fish and food to take to go if you stop by while in town or on a stroll. I will be returning my next time in Tacoma! And yes, the fish and chips are the best I have ever had!“
“The food was absolutely amazing! The serving sizes are generous and the food was seasoned really well. I ordered the tacos and the meat was very tender and saucy and the toppings were fresh. My significant other ordered the tostadas and they were packed high with toppings. The only downsides are that the location is cash only and that food runs out early (so definitely try to get there early! I got there at 7:30 and the location was out of rice and beans)“
“A-ma-zing! WoW, I went today and ordered 2 combo plates with 2 tacos & pupusa on each and it was the best tacos & pupusa l've had since I moved to WA state in 2015!My husband asked me to go back tomorrow. I thought about the food all day, it was THAT good!“
