“We recently stayed in Hotel Interurban and dined at their charming restaurant Renditionwith exceptional food and an incredibly friendly staff. The menu offered a delightful variety of dishes, each expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff's warmth and attentiveness elevated the overall dining experience, making it a truly enjoyable visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a combination of delicious cuisine and excellent service.“
“We came here randomly to celebrate NYE 2024 before heading to a rooftop party to watch the Space Needle NYE show. No reservations are needed, so this place came in clutch. We're so glad we came here! The owners were there and provided NYE hats and party beads, and the whole bar had a champagne toast to celebrate the ball drop in NYC. It was such a nice time, and the owners were very kind in providing NYE gear and champagne for everyone! We had yet to learn before coming here how much of a community vibe you get with this place. We ordered: -The Crab Nachos were super filling and tasty. I'm so glad we got these! They were the perfect final meal to end 2023. I will definitely be back for these. -The Painted Hills Beef Burger was delicious and filling. -While I Was Away - Refreshing and light, perfect pre-dinner drink -Devil's Margarita--This one was pretty strong. I highly recommend it. The flavor mix was interesting. I noticed this was a big hit. There were several tables that got this one. -Some beers, I need to remember which ones, but my partner says they were good! Overall will be back, the prices, the community vibe, and how much you can tell the owners care about their patrons shows. This place tends to be busy with regulars for a reason!“
“I truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The only annoyance and it is minor. The bartender kept calling me and everyone. "My love." At first, it was cute and welcoming, but after the 3rd or 4th time. The phrase "lost its meaning. And just became filler words. Other than that, I will gladly return. This place was great ? ?“
“I've been a loyal fan of Lady Jaye (and the crew before they were LJ) for years, and I can't sing its praises enough. The food is consistently top-notch, and those cocktails? SO impressive. As a whiskey lover, I appreciate their variety of whiskey-based drinks. The fun twists, like the soft serve + toppings dessert, popcorn on every table, and American cheese on their Wagyu burger - not just for show ya'll—it all tastes amazing and adds to the vibe. The place is cozy and welcoming, no pretentiousness here. Servers are warm, friendly, and always on top of their game.A few weeks ago, me and some friends booked the Friday night smoked tomahawk. Best decision ever. Tomahawk was smoked to perfection, juicy, and medium-rare. And the sides? We loved 'em all. The meal easily fed three hungry adults and a ravenous 7-year-old, and we were stuffed!Definitely a favorite spot of mine. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out—go check it out!“
“If you appreciate authenticity and being at the top of your game, in terms of food, drinks and staff, Life on Mars is for you. They are good people caring for their little corner of Capitol Hill, and damn that's a tough thing to do sometimes, yet still they persevere. So grateful this place exists.“
“As a huge fan of barrel aged spirits & smoked meats this is THE place to visit in the market.Smoked & deep fried chicken thighs & a house barrel aging program make this cozy joint a must spot on any decadent tour of Downtown.Staff & service is always friendly, informative & on point.“
“I visited this speakeasy on a Friday night with my husband on recommendation from friends. It is a very small place and mostly seatings are around the bar. Didn’t sound appealing to me but believe me it was fun! I would recommend going in small group of 2 or max 4. I don’t think they accept reservations but we got a table within 10 mins of putting our names. The drinks are amazing! Very flavorful and well made! I loved the dua dua coconut if you are a coffee fan you must try the ca phi tini! Cooling water is also refreshing. In terms of food, we had pho which is made in pho bac downstairs. We also had the tofu rolls and the broccoli cheese dip. My only critic is that the dip came in much later and we were full from the pho so couldn’t do justice with the dip. It was pretty cheesy and heavy. Overall fun time proof being I forgot to click pictures of the drinks ;)“
“We tried getting a table on a Saturday, and the wait was over 2.5 hours. Tried again on a Wednesday, and still waited 2 hours. It was worth the wait. Recommend hitting Coupe & Flute a couple blocks down for a champagne flight. With the old school hip hop blaring and ambiant lighting, it feels as if you're invited to hangout with your older brother and his cool friends. Except this time they're cooking up some of the best plates in Seattle. The wine list was impressive, they have Chenin Blancs heading South from France to South Africa. Cocktails in Corona bottles. Tropical notes blended to foreshadow what was to come. Boy did it come. A consonance of staples with Guamanian twists, the kind that leave your plate clean and has you asking for seconds. Words don't do this place justice. But trust me, there's a reason folks are lining up the block.“
“Parking is very easy on weekdays (except Friday), especially after 9 pm but it can get packed during weekends. Price came out to be around $100 for four drinks, it's on the pricier side but the presentation and concepts are good. We got the lawn boy, Shaballah, campfire in Georgia, and Snow White's bong. I'd recommend the first two for people who enjoy sweet drinks and the latter two for people who want something different. They have almost 5,000 labels in house so if you're a spirit enthusiast, this is the place for you. Great place to take a date after dinner but service can take a little long depending on how busy they are.“
“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.“
“Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies. I have visited a number in Philadelphia as well as NY city. I suppose I simply doubted Seattle could live up to my east coast experiences. I'm happy to say Roquette proved me wrong! Firstly, true to the speak-easy persona, the entrance was questionable in identification. We couldn't tell if we were at the right place or if it was even open. When we recognized the entrance however, we easily entered and found ourselves in a very cool, throwback, swanky bar. It was relatively intimate and seating was readily available because we arrived around 5:30pm. Happy hour lasts until 7pm, which makes sense because that's prime dinner time rather than "drinking time." Unfortunately, our visit was a few weeks ago and I can't recall the exact drinks we ordered, but they were excellent cocktails that weren't OVERLY sweet like many bars do. There were generous pours of liquor, and fruit cocktails were made with fresh fruit. I only remembered to do this review because we are pending a second visit before the New Year and needed to send this place some love! Great find! Hopefully, it doesn't change with increasing popularity, as is often the case with some businesses.“
“Best Indian food I've tasted in WA! My hubs & I went there on a whim and was pleasantly surprised with every bite. At first we weren't hungry enough for a buffet however, the spread was visually stunning that I'm so glad we jumped in. We absolutely loved the mezze sampler appetizers, which was delightfully light. The Manchurian gobi was crispy and savory. I'm not a vegetarian but the available options convinced me that perhaps I could be about that life. As anticipated there was an abundance of curry but I stayed faithful to butter chicken. My gosh the chicken was tender and smooth. The dessert options were minimal but still hit the spot, specifically the carrot halwa paired with some naan. Don't doubt... Just do it!!!“
“I really enjoyed this place. The food was amazing and the servers were really nice as well. I got the crab curry and it was the best I've ever had. The thai milk tea mostly tasted like sweet milk though, so I wouldn't recommend getting it.“
“I can't even begin to describe the Noir show. It was just that good! I brought my son's girlfriend out for her 21st birthday. We're already planning for the next one. You can see the cast loves what they do. Ps. The rubber band thingy worked out.“
“The breakfasts are very popular in this place and the truth is that it is worth visiting. What we ordered was very delicious. The portions are large and they have a variety of juices. It is very well located one block from the famous Pike Place Market. The prices are fair and the very comfortable place, very good attention, very recommendable ?“
“Absolutely delish pizza and very kind staff!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options and even vegan cheese available for $3Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust for $4 !!Wheelchair accessibility: Easily can get power or push wheelchair into the restaurant and up to a table“
“This has become our go to spot for date night! The expansive drink menu (including NA options), the always rotating line up of local draft beer and a food menu that hits on so many levels (the mushroom french dip and the roasted squash, our most recent favorites). All this combined with the welcoming and friendly staff will keep us coming back.“
“Definitely try the food! We've tried the yakisoba and bulgogi beef and they were both very good. They are very creative with their spices which elevated both dishes and they were surprise hits. The cocktails are also great. I recommend the cold Giving tree. It's a really delightful cocktail. They also host a bunch of events (ex drag show bingo and water color painting classes) that are very fun. All in all, a great place to visit if you find yourself in Cap Hill!“
“This was the most enjoyable dining experience in the week I stayed in Seattle. They lean into the theme and it's so much fun. I got their hot chicken sandwich and a few of their take on an old fashioned, both were awesome! My SO got the Pork Chop and it was such a good portion I got to help finish it off, and that was great! It was also very affordable. Our server was amazing, and the bartenders even helped out with some of the server duties which was great.I wish I remembered our servers name, but she may remember us because I made sure to let them know that I appreciated the service and that it was the only restaurant we went to that offered me another drink. Seems like a low bar to offer to sell another cocktail but it was something I didn't get elsewhere.“
“A unique, fun, friendly indie wrestling bar. Good place to watch live televised wrestling or just hang out for a beer. Not a great food menu, but there is a good happy hour beer special 6-8. They air televised "live" wrestling at 8 instead of 5, so be there by 8! This is a truly one-of-a-kind gem.“
“A swanky, fancy, quirky cocktail bar with low lighting and very interesting/strange/unique/fun drinks! I went with friends but we all agreed this would definitely be a great date night spot. Each drink had lots of different flavors that were well balanced but somewhat surprising. My friend got a rum based cocktail with coconut cream, pandan, and Thai curry spices and you could taste each of these in succession. It was fascinating. I'd definitely recommend this spot for fancy unique cocktails!“
“While the menu feels very comfortable, the food is anything but. As a party of three we ordered delicious cocktails and some starters. The calamari was the highlight of the trio, with the tartare coming in close behind. For entrees we favored the lamb, but the duck was great, the Mac and Cheese decadent, and it feels odd to say - but the brussel sprouts almost over shined everything. And don't pass on dessert! The torte was a perfect bite of chocolate everything; the brownie was melt-in-your-mouth perfect; and the carrot cake was like nothing I've ever had--it was like a bite of Fall. And if you have the restraint, they all made a wonderful breakfast the following morning.“
“Great bar food menu and surprisingly good table service. Usually bars that serve food either require you to order at the bar or have long waits. The waitress was attentive and took our orders quickly once we sat down.My friends and I shared the Brisket Nachos, Fish & Chips, Chicken Wings, and then both dessert offerings (flourless chocolate cake and fruit cobbler). One of my friend's loves the nachos, but I especially liked the coleslaw that came with the Fish & Chips and the cobbler.I've been here in the summer and their back patio is a great place to grab lunch on a sunny day. It's surprisingly private and quiet because of the surrounding fence.“
“Came for cocktail week and loved to see a woman owned spot! The entire staff working was women which was awesome. We got the kale and potatoes which were absolutely delicious. I want to figure out how to make that kale as it was so good! Love that they have boozy, light booze, and mocktails. Fun spot for a few apps and drinks.“
“First visit to Jude's. I love it when you meet long-time staff who know the history of a place - Jada was our bartender - hope I spelled it correctly! She knew her cocktails too! If you read up on the background of this place, wanting to be your neighborhood joint, great food and drinks and ambience, then I think they are there. We had the mushroom etouffee with Cajun prawns, fried chicken sandwich, apple salad, and the beignets! I'm sure it is a personal preference, but I thought the beignets were better than at Toulouse Petit. Can't wait to try brunch!!“
“Tanner and team are awesome. Such a cute bar with super high quality cocktails. They always have seasonal options and so many fun events going on. They have piano night and cocktail making classes. They also serve flatbreads if you're hungry.“
“We were in Seattle for a conference and stumbled upon Dead Line completely by accident when the place next door couldn't accommodate our party. Since there were nine of us, they seated us in their private room which had couches and comfy chairs and a cozy, speakeasy atmosphere. It was late so we ordered cocktails and a variety of small plates. I ordered the Tarragon Negroni and, seriously, it is the best cocktail I have ever had. I'm sad that I live 1100 miles away and can't return for another one. All of the small plates we ordered were tasty but my favorite was the Potato Cheese Empanadas. Our server was informative, attentive and entertaining. What a great find!“
“A super fun and dog friendly bar! Fun and creative cocktails with some wildly delicious specials. Got a goat cheese washed gin raspberry lemon honey drink that was a one of a kind treat that I wish they always had.Bartender was so friendly and nice and super welcoming to our pup. Love the space and that they allow dogs inside. Definitely coming back!“
“I worked with Dereck to host a semi-private party of about 25 people here. He reserved an area for us to mingle, eat, and drink. The service was excellent - staff handled our large group and the tabs flawlessly. Drinks and food were fast and served to the right people. They helped bring out our cake and served it according to my specific instructions. Dereck had excellent communication and even gave us some nice extra touches like birthday balloons, which was very sweet. Drinks and wings were delicious. Try the sour flower cocktail!I would definitely have another event here because they made it so easy for me and did such a great job!“
“This is a great spot for a date night or a bunch of friends getting together for some fun. Even on tuesday night, this place definitely can fill up. And on Fridays, they have matches, which i still need to go to. This has been one of my seattle secret go tos for years.“
“If you didn’t know it was there already you might have just missed it. Great spot, we had a really nice time! The staff was clearly working as a team and taking care of each other as well as us, everyone was having such a great time, there was an AM birthday party, sports, laughs - good food and fast too! We will be back!“
“I visited Pub 70 with a group during a business trip. The pork belly tacos were very tasty and filling, and the setting right on the water made for fantastic views out the many windows. If you're looking for a good place to eat a little outside of downtown, be sure to check out this place.“
“If the ladies here have a million fans, I am one of them. If they have one fan, it is me. If they have zero fans, I am dead. I’m moving out of the hill soon and will miss this place so much! I even brought my family from Texas here as one of my must try’s. Everything is so good and they’re always so patient with us. Amazing!“
“"Do ya like smooth jazz?"The jazzzz the staffff the cocktailsss... All, excellent. The Zig Zag burger was also very good. I wasn't a fan of the coconut risotto, but everything else was great. Our server, Kaira, was so cool I can't even lie. Good experience!“
“First time here for a happy hour with a friend and we didn't realize it was trivia night. We ended up playing and having a good time, servers were fun and played along. They also had great drinks and had GF pita so I could enjoy the hummus with more than just veggies!Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free (GF) options“
“This cozy spot deserves 5 stars for exceptional food and service. My husband and I had breakfast recently. The egg sandwich was delicious with scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, remoulade sauce and some greens. It was a tasty combination. The biscuit that came with my husband's bacon and eggs was generous and light and fluffy. They have yummy has browns, too. Our waitress was cheerful and attentive and kept our coffee cups full.I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“A fun and swanky little cocktail lounge with a speakeasy vibe! We went to the loft seating that overlooks the main bar. If you love booze forward style drinks (aka vintage or speakeasy style), this is the place for you! Great for small groups — space is limited compared to some.“
“Tea $3.5Hot Chocolate $4.0A stylish cafe attached to a bicycle shop ☕It's located in an area called Chophouse Row, which is full of small shops, so it had a very calm atmosphere. This is a shop that is set back from the road. The tea was delicious and the mug was so cute that it made me feel good! It's bigger than I expected, and there's plenty of seating. There was also outside seating. The store was decorated with many ornamental plants I want to go there again to relax!Thank you for the meal?“
“This was such a treat. My husband is heavily into Chinese cooking and particularly loves siuhchuan and I am gluten free and can never eat Chinese out with him. Not only were most dishes available gluten free but the food was phenomenal. In the top 3 best meals I've had in Seattle and we eat at a lot of restaurants. Highly recommend. Just don't do what I did and rub your eye after.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options.“
“I have been going to Twilight for all the years(7) I've lived in Seattle. It is a staple of the neighborhood and thank goodness for that! I always get the meat loaf dinner and make sure to have some pin ball sessions . I've met new friends here...and it's always nice to meet IRL. Alphabet Mafia all welcome. All are welcome, including dogs and...MY cat( who loves meeting new people and being a service animal and giving good lap sitting and petting sessions??. On other nights the karaome is on point and lit. Everyone is respectful and peaceful. No drama. Thank you Twilight for being a place to relax and commune!? ? “
“This place on Beacon Hill is a great location to grab American style food. However, I will say that if you’re seated outside, sometimes being right by the road is not pleasant.Service is a little bit slow, but they usually do pretty good bringing out good even on weekends. It’s a solid choice to grab dinner or lunch and then head over to another place on Beacon Hill for dessert after.“
“we heard the coleman was really good so we tried it. this was our first visit and we were not disappointed. we both had their tuna sandwich which was really good. we tried their special brown sugsr maple latte which was very good. service was amazing and friendly staff. the seating arrangement is very nice. we looked at their dinner menu and want to try the short ribs. the waitress made them sound yummy!! a definite place to enjoy a relaxing meal!!“
“Tried this place for the first time today and it was fantastic. Phenomenal food and top notch service.I personally recommend the cauliflower fritters, mushroom risotto, or the vegetable stir-fry. Also, for dessert, the chocolate lava cake was incredible.“
“We just popped in to get something to eat before a show, I got the roasted bone marrow and it was delicious! Everything on the menu looked beautiful so I hope to come back to Seattle soon to try more. On the way out the owners gave me a HUGE bone cause I asked for a box for the bone from my dish, to make treats for my dog. That was sooooo sweet and unexpected! Thank you so much and we will definitely stop in again“
“Really fantastic overall. Drinks from the menu were well crafted and composed. None were out of line with what the description suggested and our bartender was one of the most helpful mixologists ever. We knew it would be good….we didn’t know it would be this good! 10/10 will go back.Suggestions:Wild boar empanadasAsian wingsGenie In a bottle (sweeter cocktail)Monkey temple (whiskey-goes with most things cocktail)Thank you for smoking( a sharper cocktail to contrast the sweetness of ube bread pudding)Ube bread pudding (best dessert I’ve had in a year…..split between 2 people)Ashlyn (we think that’s her name or at least it wa the name on our check) was so knowledgeable. Made 2 special cocktails for my wife based on liquor and taste preferences and was just overall a high quality human being that made us feel like we’d been going there for years.Request a seat at the bar…you won’t be disappointed.7 total drinks, 5 plates of food=apprx $250 before tip“
“Where do I start,Frybread is like no other. My husband had a rez burger omg bombI had the stuffed Frybread ?.I'm picky about my Frybread and the Frybread here is up there with the best of the best that I've had.Highly recommend it“
“If you're looking for a unique bar experience, this is it. The decor and drink presentations are extremely creative and fun. I appreciated their selection of non-alcoholic options. I got the Unleaded and while it is extremely unique, I probably would order something else if we went back. Very flavorful with lots of herbal notes, just not my favorite. The server was friendly and service was good.“
“Memories of my youth and all the great old punk bars of yesterday, accept newer, cleaner, and much better food and service! I'm not even vegan and I had the French dip and it was INCREDIBLE. Alan the owner is a total sweetheart and they make all the sandwiches meat IN HOUSE. YOU CANT BUY THIS GOOD STUFF ANYWHERE ELSE! do yourself a favor and go here!!“
“Dog friendly bar with great cocktails. Love the mishmash of seats and tables, very cute and eclectic. I keep coming back.Parking: Parking is terrible here. Your car might get its windows smashed if you're here late. The light rail station is a half mile away. Worth the trek in my opinion.“
“I’m literally here every month. All the workers are amazing I can’t say I’ve came across any bad service. The bartender is great and does her job well, I think I’ve only had one bad drink out of every cocktail I’ve ever purchased and she knew exactly what to do and made it right no hassles.“
