“We accidentally found these phenomenal waffles on our way to a softball tournament in Centralia. So phenomenal in fact that we drove out of our way 3 days in a row to come back for breakfast. We tried the Bourbon Maple w/ Bacon, the Dalmatian, The Local GOAT, Jalapeno Business and Banana's foster, all exceeded our expectations. Definitely give Abe's a try, you won't be sorry!”

“I just wanted to share that my experience with your two Olympia, WA stores are consistently great. Especially today, at "Sam" greeted me warmly, listened to what my situation was, and suggested a perfect solution for me effortlessly. She even talked me into adding additional items to my order, which I never do. She alone, built a beautiful pizza in literally seconds and had me walking out the door very satisfied. I wanted to give her the credit that she has earned, her name tag read SAM, but the receipt reads Host is Juan.

“First time ordering food from this place and it was pretty good! I went with my husband and friends to order take out (they've eaten here already once) and found myself in shock with how much they had to offer on their menu. Between burgers, cheesesteaks, sandwiches, and seafood baskets, you can order whatever you're feeling in the moment if you're not exactly wanting a burger.

I got myself the pepper jack cheese steak as a combo meal with fries. I feel like there was more onions than meat, and the filling overall was strongly seasoned, otherwise the cheese ratio and how it filled the sandwich bun was just right. I loved the crispiness of the fries, they reminded me of KFC fries. My husband and fries all ordered themselves burgers and they all enjoyed their meals.

The offer stamp cards and we were able to earn some stamps during our visit. I'd love to return in the near future to try something new!”

“I’ve been coming to Jean Pierre for a few years now and decided to enjoy my birthday here today like last year. Tonight was no where near what I expected. When we first arrived it was great service and food but then they got busy. The food took about 30-40 mins to come out and the portioned were smaller than before. We have dined before with our family and spent under $180 with drinks this time it was a bit more which was a shock considering the portion size. I think tonight was a bad night service wise but honestly I’m not sure when I’ll return.”

“I’ve NEVER been that impressed even at 5 star restaurants! Chrissie and her crew were radiant! The food (1/2 chicken katsu 1/2 garlic chicken) was sumptuous and exquisite. It was a dreary Friday 13th with rain when I stopped by to eat but I left feeling like I was just in Hawaii! I will come again for a visit even from as far as Seattle!!”

I asked hour their specialty, biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs on top. Crispy hash browns and chai latte with oatmilk. Everything was delicious.

“We just started coming here a couple weeks ago and thoroughly enjoy their patio and the fact that they have a pet area. The servers are super attentive and circle every 5 (if they're busy it might be 10 minutes). Their food is very reasonable in a world of overpriced food and mediocre service. Their menu is pretty limited but their daily specials are very reasonable.”

“My daughter and I ate here the other night, we thought the restaurant was closed due to no cars in the parking lot, and it was 8pm. But we were surprised, as the service was great and the food came super quick. It was really good, I'll be back to try more things on the menu.”

Issue — menu and barista provided unclear pricing expectations.

Menu lists 16 oz drinks for X price. Asked barista if 16 oz drink comes with 2 shots. Barista said 2 shots.

Got bill and it was around $1.50-$2.00 more than I expected.

Charged for extra shot.

Also charged for card use (under $10).

That’s fine, but it would be nice to have that clarity from the beginning. Here’s a suggestion to how the conversation could go:

Customer: “hi, does the 16 oz mocha come with 2 shots?”

Barista: “it comes with 1 shot, but I can add another shot for X (price)”

Customer: “okay, I’ll stick with 1 shot, thank you”

Barista: “that’ll be X total, cash or card?”

Customer: “card, please”

Barista: “great. Do note that for totals under $10 we charge a 40 cent processing fee”

Customer: “cool, thanks for the info!”

Again, coffee was good. And this extra information might even be on the menu (unsure, hard to see when it’s on a sign that’s behind where someone pulls up). This is a brief suggestion for how the whole customer experience is. And those little tidbits of info are super helpful, at least speaking for my experience.”

“Excellent sushi! Their rolls are generously sized compared to other local places also.
Recommend the double salmon roll if you like salmon, double tuna roll if you like tuna, 007 roll for some spice and crunch (also fully cooked for those looking for no raw fish!)
Other worthy mentions: Los Vegas roll is great if you are a Wasabi fan - the sauce is great and not too hot! Aloha roll is something I'd never thought I would like but a friend got it and wow! Great combination of flavors.”

“Walked up through the drive thru on June 8th. Great place. Sally and Jesse were awesome!!! I got an iced caramel macchiato. It was perfect. Came back the next day and got another one. Great ladies made me feel at home even though I am from Tri-Cities Wa.”

“Very casual place. But they do have a wonderful selection in their grocery store. We did our order our meal online. Our Chicken Street Tacos and AL Pastor Tacos were delicious and full of flavor, plus loaded with meat. We ordered a side rice and pickled carrots to go with our meal too. I have to say one of the best street tacos I've had in a very long time. We will definitely be back!”

“"Where everybody knows your name!" (and your order) 71 years in Texas when I pulled up deep roots and moved to the PNW. I made my first new friends at this Starbucks on Trosper. Devin was the first to remember my name and my order (Tall, triple shot latte with 4 raw sugar stirred in) and was authentically friendly. Soon I was conversing with Kayla, Brandon, Josh, Sahara, and Lou Ann. Some of the baristas have moved on at this posting and are greatly missed. I look forward to meeting the new baristas ... eventually. Just wanted to post my appreciation for this particular Starbucks' staff - no Seattle Freeze ( or whatever it's called) here. The Trosper Starbucks has a group of regulars who are delightful as well. Thanks to each of you for transitioning me from TX Starbucks to your humble outpost in the PNW. Y'all made me feel welcome in my new home. And P.S. there's NO Drive-thru! I love that! Such a big plus.”

“They are great but if you go inside you will find that drive through is definitely the priority. I thought I would save time going In because the drive through was around the building. I was treated rudely in the lobby. Always treated well in drive through.”

“My favorite place to shop. And now, it’s been my favorite place to work for to. I was hired seasonal and my employment just ended but wanted to say this has been the best work experience I’ve ever had. What makes a good store is not only how it treats its customers but also how they treat their team(s) of employees. And Costco has excelled in that respect. The employee culture is overall very welcoming and friendly. And it’s the only retail where I’ve seen lower level employees treated with equal respect to higher level or senior employees. Good, kind-hearted management -Aaron in food court is about the most empathetic individual you could meet, while still maintaining a professional demeanor and always looks out for both the people around him and the organizational needs. Additionally, he ensures his employees have access to available resources as needed. Honestly have never worked for a better person in my life. Robert was my first impression of decent management in the store. He is an intellectual with lots of interesting things to say but is also a great listener. Dan is a good store manager and has good presentation skills. He speaks enthusiastically and gave a great overview of the organizational culture, mission, and values during orientation. When passing any management in the store, you aren’t treated as a lesser. They really are interested in speaking to you. They’re not just pretending. There are good benefits, insurance, free membership, resources and so on as a Costco employee. There are options to move departments and move up through the company. Thank you all for having me while you did. My only issue so far with working at Costco is that when I applied, I explained I was trying to build my resume and references. Yet, when I had an employer call Costco, and they asked to speak to the supervisor I had while employed, she answered the phone, told them they don’t do job references and hung up. When I called administrative at Costco after, they said that’s absolutely not true and they do references all of the time. If admin/management happens to see this and could discuss this issue with food court leaders, that would be appreciated.”

“Walking through the door, we were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress who was ready to help us order and answer any questions we had about the menu. Not only did the place smell amazing walking in, but it was also very delicious.The house dressing that came with the salads was spot on not to sweet with a hit of sesame in there. The portions are worth every penny spent. Very clean and quiet. Low lighting made it great for people with sensitive eyes and / or just don't want it to be obnoxiously bright. Would recommend on all platforms to go try them out.”

“This is the only Starbucks I ever visit (which isn’t actually that often). Great staff and ambiance. Today the staff saved me as I promised my daughter a cake pop and I stalled long enough for Starbucks to close early due to weather conditions. They served me despite the fact that they were wrapping up for the night. Huge thanks! I also love that they renovated an old run down farmhouse and turned it into a modern coffee shop while keeping the original charm.”

“Had a family dinner here and it did not disappoint. All the flavors and spices that I was looking for is on point. Thai fried rice is flavorful yet not greasy. Beef is tender with excellent texture and taste. The ambiance of the restaurant is super neat, almost the same as you can find in a hotel. Staff are attentive with friendly service. There is also an ample parking area. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.”

Byron, Jamie and Bailey are some of the best bartenders I’ve ever seen.Bailey is very attentive and strives to give positive happy vibes while being very effective and efficient at her job.
