“The server was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks took way too long to get to our table. The food was pretty good but way too expensive for what we got. The potatoes were not seasoned or buttered or anything just dry baby potatoes. The chared brussell sprouts were also bland not much seasoning or flavor. The steak was cooked perfect and seasoned pretty well. The cocktails were made good but way too expensive $17.00 is too much for a regular cocktail.“
“Great seafood just a little skimpy. Why don't you put a side with your fish tacos. The oysters were delicious three different kinds but very small. Mini petite s. I'm a big oyster fan. Top price for small portions....great wait Staff?“
“Amazing. Light, flaky fish. Tasty clam strips, balanced tartar sauce, amazing attitude. Clam chowder sooo good too! I can't get over this crunchy light breading. So so good!!! Also, the guy who answers the phone is super nice- Try this place!!!“
“So bomb ?. Had the cod fish & chips and a cup of chowder. Everything was great and good portions. Light and crispy batter, crunchy fries (with pepper), not too thick chowder, amazing cocktail sauce (lots of horseradish). Great service to boot. Can’t wait to go back.“
“I'm a big fan of trying various fish & chips spots. This is a small operation in a food cart area. Nevertheless, the fish & chips are pretty good. No halibut; only cod. But not overly battered or oily. And the fries are big chunks of potato wedges. Come early. The Scotsman seems to sell out early, often.“
“I've been eating here since it was the viking Cafe and it's a different kind food now but I'm a pescatarian so I don't have to drive to the coast to have fresh seafood. It's right here in town prepared just the way I like it ?“
“Had a desire for something fried, rarely eat fried foods. A dear friend told me about Fish Fusion on MLK and I decided to try it out. I have to say this is some of the best fried fish I have had in quite a while, even the fries were amazing. You have a new loyal customer.“
“Nothing but great things to say about this fish and chips truck! Not only is the location great but their food speaks for itself. I've never ordered anything I didn't love! My go-to and usual order is the Halibut. It's pricy (but it's expensive anywhere, honestly) but so so so good. Their fries are also delicious and the tarter sauce just brings it all together! Definitely recommend if you're giving Hawthorne Asylum a visit.“
“I recently hosted a little birthday get together at There Be Monsters and it was delightful! The owner, Don, communicated with me in advance about utilizing the back room, our party ended up just chilling in the spacious main area, but the back room is very cool. Great long-track shuffleboard table. The drinks were good, staff was friendly, and the happy hour food was a really solid value. Also nice to see a bar that still actually does pitchers. Highly recommend.“
“This has aleays been my go to comfort place to drink, meet friends, and get a late night bite! I have been coming here since 2007 and there food rivals high dollar restaurants. Marty has always made this my goto for great food, friendly people and a great relaxing place to meet my friends (amazing patio). Jame and Ryan are also amazing ? ? ❤️ ♥️ ?. I love this place! On a side note, my wife loves this place too, and has been coming here since 2010 where we meet. I'd your in the area, try it!“
“Greatest fish and chips! Don’t let the negative reviews fool you, the owner is very sweet and kind. The fish and chips I got were cod. Great flavor, super fresh. I will come back here again. As a transplant from New Mexico I definitely approve!!“
“Carmen is by far one of the best waitresses I’ve met while traveling. She made my experience at Bella’s super. Thank youTraveling from northern Washington to Portland for business.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids to sit.Parking: Close walk to my hotel“
“First and foremost, I want to say I don't buy off food trucks. However, we decided to try Winston's tonight I was a little concerned about the fact that there was only two pieces of fish so I ordered a third piece. I was barely able to eat my meal. The breading was crispy. The fish was flaky. It was overall delicious. I would recommend when the mood strikes and you want good fish and chips swing by Winston's“
