“What can I say? This restaurant gets one of my rare 5-Star reviews. My wife and I visited for the first time and have nothing but good things to say about this place. My only regret is that I failed to photograph any of the amazing things placed in front of us!I'll start with this... Racheal B was awesome! From the moment we arrived until the moment we walked out the door, she was amazing! I can't say enough about the quality of service we were provided. Racheal should get a raise! Then the food... The food was amazing! From our appetizer to our main course then on to our desert, everything was excellent!I highly recommend visiting here when you can! We'll definitely be returning!“

“I visit this tasting room almost monthly - whether for tastings and a nibble or full lunch/dinner. The restaurant is beautiful, the view can't be beat and the service attentive and friendly - and I especially appreciate Liana who takes such good care of us whether I'm with one other or six. The wine and food are good too :-)“

“First time there, enjoying the happy hour offerings. Just two of us got a table pretty fast, and the food is some of the best I've had going out in Vancouver after being out somewhere every weekend for the past six months! The corn fritters and honey butter dip were a particularly indulgent treat, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming despite how busy it felt inside.“

“I liked this place a lot!The staff was super friendly and the breakfast burrito was 10/10 deliciousness. I did get the Boba Fett drink because it was a specialty of the house and I was not a fan. I can see how it appeals to some but the drink was too chaotic for me. The flavors didn't blend well.I also really enjoyed the vintage star wars vibe inside.Lastly, I did think it was a little overpriced but not so much that I'd never go back.“

Ben's Bottle Shop American • $$
8052 E Mill Plain Blvd #2002, Vancouver

“Ben's is AMAZING. Great rotating taps, small but SOLID food menu, and a wall of fridges with all the beer you could ask for! It's super close to home for me so it's a regular spot for the girlfriend and I to sneak off to and have a few drinks and play a game or two from their collection of board games. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It's quickly become our go-to spot“

“Super welcoming staff and regulars. We went for the block 15 beer release but they had quite an area of other options with many local to WA and OR. I liked the front area of the taproom, but it was full at the time. The back area is a little secluded, but they do offer darts!“

“Been craving a cookout homemade burger for weeks. Simple, not greasy, light soft bun, and just hit different. The Pacific House elk burger was just that. Exactly what I wanted. If I was to change it.. I would salt the tomatoes, use roma tomatoes (as out of season they have more flavor than regular), and maybe add some ketchup? The burger, tomato, mayo, lettuce had enough juciness together, but maybe I missed the traditional flavor of ketchup. But even without those things I enjoyed it alot. Also, I dont like the taste of grass fed beef. It tastes worse than regular beef to me personally. I was worried elk would be like that, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference between it and a really good beef patty. Maybe side by side I would but nothing distinct.“

“Quality of food is fresh and tasteful. I ordered to go and read on the menu that unless asked for seperate, the sauce would be added into the bowl, it was not, and the small to go cup portion was hardly enough to spread to the entire bowl and was difficult to stir without ingredients falling out. The mushroom soup was delicious and hot.“

“In the end, I'm pretty sure I got the wrong order, but everything was super good so I'm not even upset about it.Ordered for pick up through Door Dash. I waited a while but they said the ticket never went to the kitchen. I don't know if that was true or if someone forgot to ring it in, but I get it, I used that excuse all the time when I was a server. They gave me a horchata for my wait and it was delicious. Had the chicken tinga tacos and they're better than Little Conejo. Definitely still less spicy because of all the white people in Vancouver, but still has a kick. All of this to say, I will be back. Thanks Georgie's!“
