“We visited for the brunch and had Adam as our server. He and all the staff we came in contact with, was very welcoming and friendly. I had the chowder, macadamia crab cakes, and a bloody Mary. Which happens to be 3 of very favorite things. And was one of the most delicious meals I ever had! Every bite and sip was a piece of heaven! We topped it all off with some mousse dessert! Exceptional flavors! Thank you Cove! We will be back!“

“I can’t recommend this place enough. It has become our local haunt. The staff are all delightful and super friendly. They allow you to bring your dogs in, so we are often found seated in the beautiful tables in the window (made from a single slice from a huge tree) with our pup curled up on the bench. They make amazing cocktails, and have a menu that rotates seasonally, with themed drink names. Or you can go with the delightful cocktails on tap, which seem to change every few weeks. And the pizza! This is probably my favorite NY-style pizza in the Portland-Vancouver area.Vegetarian options: They always have a couple of vegetarian pizzas in the case that you can get a slice of, or order one of their whole vegetarian or vegan pizzas.Kid-friendliness: There is both a bar side and a restaurant side, plus in between is a great arcade area.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get a wheel chair in and pull up to a table.“

“TLDR: Food was good, prices a bit high but not astronomical, game library surprisingly extensive, and the staff are awesome, but it's very, VERY loud, so be warned if you have audio issues of any sort.Went for the first time for Valentines Day (which was Halloween 2, kinda cool) with my partner. It was fun, the decor is awesome, everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the burger and fries were great if a bit expensive. I was expecting the price since it's a bar, not a restaurant, but was surprised at how good it was.I'll also point out it's super cool how you can rent a console and game and just play it. We swapped once while we were there, and even though we had to get moved to a different TV, they didn't charge us extra to do it and didn't give us flak about it. Very awesome! The downside for us was the noise levels. The music was so loud we had a hard time hearing each other even when sitting shoulder to shoulder, and obviously we couldn't hear the music from the games we played. My SO also has sensory overload issues sometimes and had effectively a noise hangover the next day despite wearing ear protection. Not something I'm going to be mad about, and we both had a lot of fun going, but it's definitely a once in a great while thing for us. Worth checking out at least once for sure!“

“*sigh* it seems parents are doomed to be punished, no matter what. If we take our twins out with us, there's going to be someone who complains about noise or manners. If we order pickup, the meal is tossed in a box, and the serving size is considerably small. I thought that paying over $60 for a bread, salad, and two entrés to share with toddlers would be a bit more sustaining. The hostess was wonderful. We're not impressed by the serving sizes or presentation of to-go food (specifically, the endive salad), but the flavors were good. If the chef needs locally grown ingredients, maybe reach out. I'm growing endive this year.“

“It's nice to see downtown Vancouver WA opening up chic restaurants. The price range for the main entrées was about $50-$80... Little bit too pricey for the Vancouver market in my opinion. But if you mix and matched the extras and what is called "Yakimori" then it was definitely worth it. I was with two others and we ordered the extras and the yakimori and had six different dishes that we shared! We were full. I would definitely recommend this and their drinks are pretty good too.“

“My husband and I had a lovely experience here! I love tapas restaurants, cuz I can try everything! I thought our food was out of this world! And I'm kinda a food snob. I don't know what some of the poor reviews here are talking about?‍♀️ Everything tasted soooo incredible! Our waitress was awesome; the ambience perfectly matched the food, decor, and style. The one thing I might suggest....if you want a more private dinner, maybe ask to be seated in a more spacious location. Maybe outside? ? I'm not sure they could have fit another body in that building. We were maybe a foot away from the guests on either side (good thing we're vaccinated!), and although the music and chatter was loud enough to drown out even our conversation, we could hear our neighbor's also. I love people watching, so I didn't mind, but be aware. It's definitely a place to people watch! I wish I could have taken pictures of everyone! Lotta up-scale beauty!“

“My husband and I spotted this gem driving by a few weeks ago and finally stopped in to give it a try. First impression, everybody there had a smile on their face and the bartender genuinely cared you had a good experience. We wanted to try a good majority of food so we got general tso chicken, szechuan chicken, salt + pepper fried pork, and egg foo young. The food was fried to a perfect crisp, the spice levels were perfect (I like it spicy), and the sauces were so tasty. I gave 4 stars for food because the egg foo young wasn't my favorite but was still good. Overall, we can't wait to return for food, free pool, and my favorite..... karaoke!“

If more places focused on providing a guest experience like El Gaucho and Jen, they wouldn’t go out of business so fast. I would have paid twice what I did for this meal just for the dining experience alone. Amazing.“

“I can see myself enjoying more time on this patio! Amazing view and chic vibes thorough out. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The cocktail wasn't my favorite it had a little more peppercorn than I think I was expecting and I would like to see more sweet vodka cocktail options. The savory food options left much to be desired if you're vegetarian. Everything had meat in it and the only option without were deviled eggs. Even if not specially a vegetarian or vegan establishment it's important to consider. Was curious to try the macarons, I'll have to come back and try more of the menu.“

“Decent food. Good service. Reasonable prices. Always busy.UPDATE April 2022...Still very busy for dinner. Service was still a high point .. professional , prompt and friendly , even more exceptional considering how busy they were this evening--thank you LQ!!I ordered the crab cakes appetizer , the sea bass and the lamb chops.Presentation was nice. The crab cakes were ok, not great. Definitely too bready and not enough crab , especially considering that we live in the PNW.The sea bass was very good...mild and flavorful. The lamb chops were also just ok too--a bit chewy and not quite warm enough. Not bad just not great. The vibe and buzz at Hudson s is good and definitely a plus. All in all ...come for the vibes and the service .
