“Went here for a late breakfast. The food came out fast and hit the spot. They had two vegetarian options that i saw, although it seemed likely they'd have been willing to adapt other items if needed. Staff was very friendly and curteous and the coffee was great!“

“Kind of appears to be a dark place when you enter. Carpet is dirty, tiles on the floor are broken and chipped. Chairs are old.But People seem friendly. The bartender is super friendly and awesome! She remembered us as customers and even remembered a joke that was told to her, even though it had been a long time (3 yrs?) since we were there! She had recommendations for other local businesses. Erin was well accustomed to the clientele and their needs.The beer is cold, the bartender is fun, the food is decent.There's a smoking area which is very nice. The bathrooms are clean and roomy.“

“I stopped in here on a weekday evening. It wasn't very busy. The bartenders were attentive. I had some cheese curds, and a Tito's and tonic. It's a big place. The pool tables. Video games. Darts. Decent section of beer but not too deep on the craft beer menu. The bar itself is huge and wraps. Around the entire inside of the establishment. Ample parking. Can get very crowded on the weekend nights. Typical bar and Grill type menu.“

As regulars, we feel very uncared about, and felt this should be brought to everyone's attention. Other restaurants do not do this to us, and we appreciate them. “The food is very good and service is attentive but not overbearing. The Coffee Clutchers aka “The Breakfast Club” have obviously known each other for a while and their mostly friendly banter is always entertaining. If I was forced to come up with a complaint I guess it would be that they’re not open for dinner. I bet that kitchen could produce an outstanding dinner menu if they were ever so inclined. In conclusion I highly recommend Sid Harvey’s Family Diner!“

“Husband and I were looking to celebrate Valentine's Day a day earlier to avoid long waits or a crowd on the day of. On a whim we stopped in at 5 pm, fully prepared to be told the restaurant was full. Pleasantly surprised when they were able to seat us immediately, even thoughtful enough to hold a table for us while I was trying to find a parking spot. Definitely recommend the Lion's mane "crab" cakes- I would come back just for this and this alone. I had the scallops which were a seasonal special and they did not disappoint. Husband had the pineapple pizza which was great also. Looking forward to coming back to try more!“

“Got the Italian beef/sausage combo with hot peppers. Really good! Bread was soft and the Italian beef was tender and juicy. The hot peppers were pretty spicy so watch out for that. Wasn’t a huge fan of the sausage was better on its own than in the sandwich I thought.“

“Great local bar food. The Packer Backer (2 brat patties with kraut and cheese) is my favorite, the "kid" (21) loves the Black and Blue burger, and my wife loves the pesto grilled cheese. Honestly there are very few places where we all love at least one item on the menu. The waffle fries are always perfectly done, nice and crispy. Though they could time down the amount of salt they use on them just a little bit.“

“Super typical Texas Roadhouse. Nothing too crazy to brag about. It is almost always busy, considering I live right down the road. You almost always need a reservation because alot of people come here, or call ahead of time. My boyfriend and I, went here once, and it was fun. Good food for sure, and the rolls are great. The atmosphere is okay, and can get pretty crowded, so if you are looking for a quiet place to eat, I would probably recommend going elsewhere.“

“I just brought our group of science contest students here from Madison after a trip leaving from Boyceville WI. The service was impeccable and they had things together and working like a well oiled machined. I had a whole 81 passenger double Decker bus full and they were amazing. We were sure to give them an early heads up and they did not disappoint! Defintely will stop at this Eau clair location when I can with groups! The manager was on duty making everything run smoothly.“

We were waiting for several minutes to be seated, even though there was no one in line ahead of us. We didn't see anyone who worked there for a while while we were waiting, and then they were in and out, serving tables. I'm gonna be honest, you can tell they try super hard to make their food taste, portion, and presentation seem worth the price tag (i.e. dressing the chicken wings with fried potato chips, etc.) and you know what... they succeed. It's slightly pricier than you might expect, but you won't leave hungry. Especially not with their bottomless options. That alone makes it worth the price. The fries are far better than I remember them being back in the day. Service is usually pretty quick. They have some servers that you can tell really try hard. Also really like the atmosphere and decor.“
