“We've just moved into the area, and Aranda's was recommended to us by a few people. We've been there 4 times so far and have tried different meals each time. Everything that we've tried has consistently been anywhere from good to extremely good. The service has also been great. I believe this is going to be our preferred location for our regular Mexican food fix. Definitely recommended.”

“Went at midnight to celebrate (like a daughter) turning 21. Had a blast!!! Bartender was nice, talked to the owner & he was nice & the other customers were nice. 90% of them came right over to us & bought us drinks & shots & wished her a Happy Birthday & hung around & talked with us. Nice neighborhood bar with pool tables, dart boards & a great jukebox. They also serve food. Did not try it but the menu looked good. They have a good size bar & plenty of tables & parking. Owner may put in a outdoor patio in the future I learned when we were chatting. We will visit again. ?”

“The teas are absolutely delicious but they don’t have consistent hours. They are always opening late and closing early. Deciding not to open for the day. Since they are a bit of a drive for most people would recommend calling before making the drive out there because can’t guarantee they will be open. I thought the first rule to business management was consistent hours. Of course it will be slower at certain points… people get sick of making the drive to find out you guys decided to close when google says you’re open. The hours are not what google says.”

“The Frog Pond has become our go-to for a consistently good Fish Fry and great burgers, We try to go every month for the burger of the month, which are always unique and an amazing deal at $7.50. This month was a "Benny Burger" - fresh hamburger patty, ham, fried egg, and Hollandaise. We weren't sure we would like it but it was delicious. If you haven't been here yet give it a try, it's truly a hidden gem for good food.”

“Stopped in tonight before 5pm...very busy, The bartender was friendly, but probably a bit overwhelmed. She didn't seem to be too bothered, however, and continued serving drinks. We didn't get food on this visit (short on time). From past visits I know you'll have to wait a bit for food. Food is traditional bar food....burgers, pizza, fried yum. The burgers are tasty.”

“We went this past sat with friends. 5 of us had drinks plus food. Were in no hurry and susie was busy.. former owner. Tamtam. (TAMMY) also off duty stepped in. We had so much fun. Plus the burgers were stellar. We all.loved our food ham n cheese plus the bacon burger roll ups. We got a couple great songs from susie. We cant wait to visit again. “What an adorable spot in deforest! I stopped on a sunny fall day and was able to sit outside on the front porch swing sipping my latte. It was so peaceful and enjoyable. There weren’t any tables inside when I visited, but it looks like they’ve added some in the pictures I’ve seen. He shop inside has so many cute, local goods and it was fun to browse while the staff prepped my coffee. I’ll definitely be back to read on their front porch when the weather warms back up!”

“This is a great out of the way bar to go. Meet somebody at without having a crowd. They have great burgers, and you can play darts in and out of The Way dive bar manner. My fiancé, Kym Thompson and I have enjoyed going there. In the pait is close to our home in Portage Wisconsin.”

They prefer cash and I don't blame them. Get there earlier than they say because they are very fast. There is a dining area but I don't know if I have ever seen more than one table in use.”

In this case, baked cod with a side of cheesy potatoes was very good.I ordered a cup of clam chowder to be served before my meal, but the service tonight was so fast that my soup and dinner were served nearly simultaneously!!I especially liked the warm melted butter served with this meal, like it should be.The atmosphere is perhaps a "traditional" WI locale, but the dining area is small, so you'll have to wither sit at the bar or on the bar area ?. It's not exactly a drawback if you grew up in WI as that is part of the culture.If you didn't grow up here, you may object to the bar if you have children.”
