“Went here on the recommendation of a coworker. Had the fish fry, which was good. Everyone enjoyed themselves. It was clean, well kept. The service was fast, even though the place was packed. Very casual dining environment is the only thing I'd say to be aware of if you haven't been here before, not fancy, but good food and comfortable.“

“went here for Saint Paddy's Day '23. absolute best fish fry of my life. they had a station making it out in the open which was cool to watch. typically I don't even like coleslaw, but somehow Slick Willie's had me craving MORE of it. crowded & loud, yes. a couple dudes nearly getting into a fight, also yes. but I make it my goal to seek out the Real Dive Bars™ & all of these are practically a requirement. plus, it was Saint Paddy's Day in a dive bar in South Milwaukee--to expect anything less would be even stupider than the people who think stupider isn't a real word. your FACE is stupider! staff was on their grind gettin' shit done, nothing to complain about there. the menu was very affordable, although no shame if you spend a day's earnings in a night. definitely not the place for you if your idea of a dive bar can be accurately compared to the cheapest spot in Naperville... but great environment & overall freakin' awesome experience for me & assumably others who share a similar mindset. cannot wait to revisit whenever I head to Milwaukee again.“

“Stumbled upon this place while in Milwaukee for work. It is located not far from my airport hotel. Great neighborhood bar with a lot of locals. Talked to several, and they were all very friendly. The bartender, Erin, was very friendly, fast service, and liked to smile and joke around a little. Drinks were good, and the prices were too. I ordered a pizza around 9pm. Came out in a reasonable amount of time and was better than expected. Will definitely stop back in next time I'm in town.Vegetarian options: A few options for vegetarians. Pizza or salad.Parking: Small parking lot, but there is also street parking.“

“What is not to love? Service was awesome, food was excellent. Stayed in the area even though we are local (half hour away). Value for the money is way above average. Would definitely return and would highly recommend! And who has happy hour on Fridays besides this place? Just awesome! Only gripe would be the parking but that's not really within their control.“

“Love these little old school pubs just sitting there at a 4way stop. Been here since tge 60's. Bartender was spot on, friendly and quick service. One of the locals told me tgat the Prime Rib can't be beat (served on Mondays) and if you order steal tacos on Thursday, they use the left over Prime Rib. Hard to beat that. Very friendly regulars, and even bought me a shot. I will be back to try the food and will update my review.Parking: Small lot with a lot of cars. But you can be creative to make a spot.“

“We've eaten here a few times and all of our food has been good! The flat fries are a hit. Service is friendly, but our food took a very long time, especially most recently. They were busy when we came in, but it seemed like most everyone else already had their food, so I didn't expect to have to wait as long as we did; however, everything was cooked properly (fish frys and flat fries) and came out hot.My husband appreciates the beer and liquor selection, and most items are listed with prices conveniently on their screens at the end of the bar.I like the atmosphere here better than most bars. “Cool bar and restaurant. Food was great. Excellent beer selection and one of the best bloody Marys I have had in a while. Lots of TV's good spot to grab some food, a few drinks and watch a game. They also had a good selection of pinball machines.“

Was sent back only to be brought back top side hot, bottom side ice cold. Nobody asked about the food and we were ignored.“

“One of the most unique bars I have been to when it comes to "truck stop" restaurants. While the method of food delivery to your table may be unconventional, it is certainly fun. You can sit in the spacious bar and lounge area or the outdoor patio and order from diner style food from the kitchen downstairs after which it will be delivered to your server/bartender via a zip line-gondola basket thing. Get some fried curds. Everything was wonderful. I am glad there are still some unique truck stop bars left in the world. Wisconsin rules.“

Food came out in an appropriate amount of time and was hot. Large servings of fries and tots. Food was above average bar food. My only suggestion would be a little less salt on the fries.
