The Fermentorium Brewery and Tasting Room Brewery • $
7481 WI-60 Trunk, Cedarburg

“If you're reading this, please stop bringing your running and screaming children into a brewery. That's completely unacceptable and you look like a horrible parent. Drinking copious amounts of high ABV beer and then driving your kids home is a great idea. Why would you have a little league baseball team come here? Again, keep your kids at home. This isn't a daycare or a jungle gym. People come here to relax not hear your kids screaming otherwise we'd all go to chuck E cheese. Have your mom social group meet up at your dirty house instead. Signed- Every single adult that doesn't bring their children to bars/breweries to ruin adult free time.“

“I have gone to many places, and you can say I am a foodie. I believe I can make better food at home then at restaurants. I met my match here, not only was the atmosphere small town and popular, but our service was incredible. Now let's go to the food, First you will not go hungry on serving size. Second, the food was incredible, I custom ordered and they nailed it, I can say I could not have made this better at home. I tried everyone's at the table as they did as well, nobody was disappointed.“

“We have been to Brandywine many times the past few years. We've taken friends there and we've always enjoyed our dinners. The last time we went we were surprised (and disappointed) to see some changes to their menu. First, they've taken the pork chop away. The menu is definitely focused on pastas and the pork chop was one of the few non-pasta dishes. But more surprising was the additional small add-ons with a cost. For example, if you want parmesan cheese on your pasta, it will cost an additional $1. Really? And if you order the focaccia (which is excellent) and you need a little more olive oil, that too will come with a small charge. Perhaps they have had bad experiences with people demanding excessive amounts of cheese or oil, but if that's the case, why not just increase the price of the entrees by a few cents to cover that cost of those who wish to have more. We will still go there, but we were just disappointed to see these changes.“

“Once and Done ! We made (quite) a trip to experience Le's Pho bc of the glowing reviews it had rec'd on this site. So sorry to say we were sorely disappointed. The place was uninviting even for a cafeteria, incl. flies and a messy toilet with reams of boxes stored in the hallway. At Noon hour there was just one waitress who pretended to barely notice us and hardly spoke English. The menu showed huge mark-ups from prior prices still visible beneath. As appetizer we ordered the butterfly calamary ($12) which we both love, though not these which were full of chunks of empty breading. The Claypot Seafood ($15) was a large bowl of steamed vegetables containing almost no seafood; asides were bamboo shoots and a mountain of steamed rice. The Pho Steak Brisket ($13) was a large vegetable terrine with thinly sliced meat slivers as tasteless as tough strips of leather. The vegetable stew and broth actually tasted fine, but we were missing the seafood and steak brisket advertised on the menu. Though cost was not the issue, we still felt the $60 tab was overpriced for the all around sorry experience.“

“My husband and I had recently dined out at The Farmstead for our anniversary. We both had the beef tenderloin dinners and they were outstanding as well as the coconut chicken curry soup I had. We arrived at the restaurant 4:45 pm and were seated right away. The service and the atmosphere was also outstanding. I think within a half hour after arriving the dining area was full so it must be a very popular place.“

“Visiting Cedarburg Wisconsin for the first time today our group really lucked out in finding Sal's pizzeria. After being turned down at a few local spots for not having reservations we continued down main steet in hopes of finding someplace good for breakfast. After a few minutes walking downtown we crossed the street where the familiar smell of fresh baked pizza permeated the air. After a short discussion the group decided I should go inside first to check if they had enough room for the six of us and see if they made gluten free pizza. The answer was yes to both so we decided to give it a try and man are we glad we did! The six of us, all pizza snobs from Chicago had to agree Sal's makes an exceptionally good pie, literally among the best pizza any of us ever tasted. What makes admitting this so hard is the fact Sal's pizza is New York style, a hard pill to swallow for anyone from the Windy City. But hey, anything as good as Sal's needs to be celebrated so that's why we've decided to surrender this battle in the Pizza wars and share this amazing gem with the world.Mangiare“

“food was ok, not really traditional Asian food, the Orange chicken was outstanding, but pad Thai was not pad Thai. it definitely was clear what it was going to be, but it did not knock my socks off. good but not life changing, but I am probably spoiled having used to living near Asian communities, so I would take my advice with a grain of MSG...“
