“There are so many things I love about this place that make it hard to summarize in one review. 1. Food: the quality of the food is absolutely consistent and delicious. I come here multiple times a week so that's when you really know it's consistent when you're able to order the same thing and it comes out perfect each way. 2. Atmosphere: what I enjoy the most of about this restaurant is the atmosphere. Child friendly, disability friendly, any kind of friendly (with an emphasis). The owners of this bar go out of their way to help those in need, those local with charities, you name it. My best favorite local experience is getting to work with someone with little to no experience in English, and he works with me to learn Spanish. This kind of environment encourages learning and patience with all involved. 3. People: all around amazing people who not only run the business but also own it. Additionally, the people they attract are those that come close to making the bar feel like "cheers" despite being in Cudahy. I've never met such deserving people in life who deserve their business to succeed in every way possible. I will always continue to come here to support their business for everything that the restaurant is, what the owners stand of, and the quality of food they produce.”

“Absolutely LOVE Twisted Plants! The entire experience is great, from checking out their website and online menu to hanging out in the restaurant while I waited for my food. The food itself was top notch. I'm from IL so I have pretty high standards when it comes to original vegan dishes. Twisted Plants did not disappoint at all. They were SUPERB! The textures, flavors, ingredients, and presentation were super high quality and mouthwateringly good. The staff were very friendly and professional, too! Couldn't ask for more. This is a gem of a restaurant and should be a successful nationwide chain. I hope they are one day! I will absolutely be coming back!”

“This is a perfect hidden gem of a bar. Amazing drink selection, fair prices and great bartenders. You’ll also find hidden amazing little points in the venue…like the garden/patio area. Highly recommend.”

“A long-time Cudahy gem. Just ate there 2 days ago. Eggs made perfectly, Hashbrowns crispy and sizzlin`, toast drippin` in butter. Huge plate! Ate here in morning, didn`t need anything else the rest of the day.”

“Great food. The meat in the Swiss steak and stroganoff were very tender. Excellent service. Mary, our fun waitress, was attentive and very efficient in taking our order and serving us. Recommend it highly for an inexpensive but tasty meal.”

“Jen’s Sweet Treats provided us with an AMAZINGLY delicious dessert buffet for our wedding! They created sensational cookies, lemon bars, chocolate covered pretzels, cupcakes and brownies! The staff there were very professional, punctual, and so kind to my now wife and myself during the whole process from beginning to the end. They went above and beyond for us. I would recommend supporting their family business for anything from a sweet treat for yourself or for your wedding! 10/10 would recommend them!! ❤️ definitely excited to work with them again in the future ??

“Drinks are cold, strong and inexpensive to boot. Three Rum n' Cokes and a tap beer came to $5. You can tell the patrons visiting were regulars, as I observed the three older gentlemen playing card games on the back table for the duration of our visit. Would definitely be back!”

“Local tavern with good whiskey offerings. Cool old building that has live music on occasion. Owner seems like a good guy. Reasonable prices and an older crowd make this a Cudahy gem.”

“Had some time on my hands and was driving by and noticed that the bar was open and decided to stop in for a quick beer and to use the facilities . Swift Kick is a fairly small and simple corner establishment with a one of those neat horse shoe shaped bars with the back bar in the center , you can see pretty much everyone that is there and I thought that was nice . The woman behind the bar was very nice and was eager to ask how she could be of service . The afternoon that I stopped seemed to have an older clientele and they were all friendly . It's clean and I would certainly stop in again if in the area . Parking is all on the street . If ya like quaint little spots , stop by and check out theSwift Kick Pub .”

“Ordered for dinner tonight. When went to pick up they were just putting it in the oven. She was so apologetic about getting busy and falling behind. She gave us a free appetizer because we had to wait a little longer. Than she even brought it out to the car. Definitely ordering again.”
