“Great location, great atmosphere. I’ve visited EC several times and have always wanted to come. On a weekend morning, there weren’t many servers, and although the restaurant wasn’t crowded, it still felt quite busy. I ordered brunch and a Margherita pizza. The food was delicious, but there were a few flaws, like the eggs Benedict being overcooked, with no runny yolk at all.”

“Tori the bartender was wonderful and so sweet! We ordered hibachi, but at a booth and unfortunately our steak was cold and the portions seemed quite small compared to usual, so that was unfortunate.”

“What a gem of a place. We were out bicycling and got hungry for some late lunch. Someone told us about this place. So very impressed with everything about it. Got to meet a super nice bartender (thanks Diane), who made us feel at home, made us the BEST frozen pizza that we have had a in a very long time. “The hot pot was so good! Our server was Leon, he took great care of us. He suggested the chicken broth and the miso broth. For the meats we had lamb, beef and chicken. The flavors were super tasty! Leon even made us a fresh dipping sauce that elevated the experience and boosted the flavors. We can’t wait to visit again when we are in town!

“This was our first time visiting your Chippewa falls location at Market on River, and it was wonderful! Before eating, we got to walk through the building which has been beautifully restored and visit the shops. Hubby, the notorious picky eater, had a Wisco Whiz burger and fries and absolutely loved them. I had the brussel sprouts topped with bacon and pickled onions, and that was a meal as itself. Very generous portions which makes the menu items well worth their price, fresh and local ingredients, and the staff were attentive, cheerful, and great about recommending items based on our taste preference as well as encouraging us to try new items. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience - we’ll definitely be back!”

“This morning June 23r, I ordered 8croissants with some having hash browns and some with pancakes. After I am about to hang up the phone, the lady kindly asked for 15 min, that shocked me because that is FAST for 8 meals!! I get there not even 5minutes after I hang up because I was already on the way bringing the food to my coworkers at our place of work, within 5 minutes or less already they were almost done with my order on top of being in the middle of breakfast rush. Extremely fast service from these guys, and we are very grateful. We will always be coming back for more. 11/10 for service!!!!! On top of HUGE portions, our pancakes barely fit in a box that was atleast a 1ftx1ft, on top of loaded hashbrowns. Great portions, extremely friendly staff, incredible service, and faster than any other restaurant I’ve been to.”

“WOW, was this good! I'm a Chicago girl, and grew up with gyros running through my veins, and this was just right! I requested grilled onions, which were perfect atop a blanket of gyros atop a bed of rice. There was a side of a bean puree (maybe chickpeas/garbanzos?) that was so good I could have eaten a bowl of that, alone! The falafel was perhaps a bit dense in texture (personal preference, not a criticism!), but the flavor was terrific, and the sauce was so good you could bathe in it! The owner's wife was flying solo this Sunday but, despite that, food was done in a completely reasonably amount of time, especially given the falafel was fried fresh to order, as were my requested onions. She couldn't have been sweeter, confirmed to me that the rice is Basmati, falafel mix was made that day, kept apologizing for the delay (truly, a 6-8 minute wait for fresh-to-order food is nothing; I've waited 20-25 minutes at Burger King in Black River Falls! Yikes!). The prices were super-reasonable, and the quality of everything was excellent. Consider me the newest fan, and I encourage visitors to Oakwood Mall or folks who live nearby to visit; we need another good Mediterranean option in Wisconsin, and these guys are terrific! I make chicken shawarma all the time; looking forward to my next visit to Eau Claire to try theirs, as well as those Mediterranean fries I keep hearing so much about!!! “Yesterday my wife and I celebrated our 37th anniversary here for dinner I had the baked ziti, my wife had the shrimp and scallop Alfredo both were outstanding, the salad was very good but the breadsticks were not as good as I have had them before, we both had margaritas mine was strawberry and my wife had a mango and both was excellent, our server I do not remember her name but she told us that she did not know much about drinks because she is 18 really did a A+++++ job getting our food she checked on us several times, Olive Garden gave us a free dessert because of our anniversary which we did not know about but we ordered the donuts with raspberry sauce and they was very good, we love the food so much that we ordered a extra meal for $6 each to take home for another night we both got spaghetti with meat sauce, the prices was very reasonable and we made sure we tipped our waitress extremely well since she made sure we had a great dining experience I recommend Olive Garden for any special occasion”

I had an idea of what I wanted and sent a picture of the cake I liked with my email. They gave me a very fair quote and were available to make it for us in time for the birthday. We faced a few hiccups due to emergencies on our end and had to move the pickup date a couple of times and Jess and Duane were very understanding and accommodating. “It was our first time at Sammy’s. Hubby and I wanted something quick and simple and affordable. I had always wanted to stop for the salad buffet. We ordered the lunch special which is the personal pizza and salad bar. The salad bar was good but if I had my way, I wish it had greens and not shredded iceberg. I’d pay a dollar or two more for that. 😂 But it was still good and fresh. The waitress was SUUUUPPPEERR friendly. I asked her recommendation for pizza and she said the primo which is what I ordered. It did not disappoint! What I noticed immediately that it was REAL sausage chunks. Not the cheap pellets you sometimes see. Also I saw that there was sausage evenly distributed to ensure you get a piece of meat at every bite. Most places don’t do that and it drives me nuts. The crust was thin and crunchy which I loved. There was a good sauce to cheese ratio. If you want something affordable, stop at this great mom n pop restaurant. They even have take home frozen pizzas. No cardboard pizzas here. We will be regular customers when we crave pizza. Yumm!”

At 1:10 the couple behind me got their order(S) I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and was solo. I had other oligations going on I had to get to, I figured it wouldn't take that long for a chicken salad. I asked the employee at the window if he could put my order on hold while I ran home and got it. He told me “No”. He grabbed one of his coworkers and they told me not to worry about it. I offered to call with my card when I got home or to come pay for it tomorrow and they told me they were taking care of it! Once you submit and pay for the order they will get started on your order. The QR code also is linked to the table you are sitting at. I only got the pho, the flavor tasted very OG but overall decent with decent portions. Didnt get any toppings like bean sprouts, basil, or lime not sure if that normal but I am ok with or without always just a plus.”

“First time eating at a jersey mikes. Our order was taken fast. The sandwhich I got did not have that much flavor. It was roast beef, turkey, bacon, cheese, mayo, onion, tomato, and the relish. The bread was good. I personally would choose jimmy johns or subway over them in the future.
The staff was friendly. The tables were all pretty dirty and we had to wipe them down before eating.”

The only issue was the order accuracy, as I ordered one regular crust and one thin crust, but got 2 thin crusts which played with the cook time of what I thought was the regular crust because I initially cooked it on a higher level in the oven. It really does make a difference at which level you cook the different crust styles, people! Anyway, it all worked out in the end and we had a very enjoyable pizza experience!”

“Im glad Eau Claire has this family owned restaurant in their community. We ordered Laos papaya salad, steamed rolls, and their specialty deep fried fish dish with a small side of sticky rice. We enjoyed all of them! Really liked their papaya salad. The steamed rolls were great size (5 rolls). We cant wait to go back when we pass through Eau Claire again!

One thing to improve would be their ordering process. Please have printed copies of your menu around. It is hard to just read your big posters of menu next to the cashier station. This was my least part of the experience.”

“Awesome bar that has completely outlived its longtime reputation as a trouble spot. I started hanging out there about 10 years ago because I could always find a good pool game. Before I actually went there, I had always heard about Bullpen's rough reputation. Much better bar and crowd than I anticipated. Still, it was a little rough for my taste. Especially on Friday & Saturday nights. Over the past 6 or 7 years, Bullpen has completely transformed that image from olden days. This is now the only bar that I frequent. Ping & Michelle; the owners; are fantastic people who care about their customers & employees like family. I am proud to say that they are now close personal friends of mine. Drinks are the best value in town. The crowd that hangs out there is diverse and some of the best friends I have ever known. Always a diverse selection of sports on the multiple big screens. Always great music being played by a customer base that knows their music. Finally, my main motivation for going there. hands down the best pool tables in Eau Claire. Well maintained tables and a variety of pool tournaments throughout every week. If you avoid the Bullpen because of an oudated reputation for being a trouble spot, it's your loss. Personally, I can't imagine a better place to hang out, listen to good tunes and shoot some pool. Hats off to Ping & Michelle for being awesome owners and great friends.”

“We came in about 12:30 and Shawn immediately greeted us. There was a very long line of 6 people in front of us plus us 4 and he was working very fast and hard to get through everyone. We were surprised to see him working alone during the busy lunch time but he was very friendly and helpful and didn’t make anyone feel rushed. We greatly appreciated him and will be back specifically because of how awesome he was. Some other guy did come and help but wasn’t as nice or friendly as Shawn. “I want to compliment the fine staff at this Starbucks. On a Friday evening a few weeks ago, my children and I were about to leave a nearby restaurant on our bikes when my 8-year-old daughter fell, hurting her leg. I was trying to comfort her as she sat on the concrete crying when I noticed a Starbucks employee approaching us from across the parking lot. We weren't even customers, but she had spotted us through the drive-thru window and wanted to help. The employee (whose name, unfortunately, I don't remember) guided us back to the store and offered my daughter some Band-Aids and a cake pop, which rapidly turned her tears to smiles. It is these little acts of kindness that make the world a better place, and I want to make sure this employee and her co-workers get the credit they deserve!😄”
