“Nice place to drink after a long day at work. The service is very fast even on busy days. The food is your typical bar type food. Nothing special. A local place the coworkers go after work because it is close by. The enter and exit is confusing because driveway is hidden. So because very caution.“
“Softly played piano tunes and bistro decor made this a pleasant outing. Host was cheerful and initially attentive, but our drink order was unusual (chocolate malt, rather than alcohol) and didn't arrive before the meal (probably was never made), so we cancelled it. The waitress was friendly and attentive, no complaints there. Tenderloin was amazingly tender, garlic mashed potatoes were tasty, and the garnish of onion rings hit the spot. Ribeye steak was deliciously grilled, but had a lot of fat and grizzle, and therefore was understandably chewier than my husband's tenderloin. Baked potato was generously sized; sauteed mushrooms were a treat. Overall, we set out to have a nice steak dinner, and mission was accomplished.“
“Not quite as good as some of the places in Chicago but it satisfies the craving and is the best in Milwuakee I've had! Hot dogs are well done with the correct ingredients. Service is good and they have a large variety on the menu. Fries are excellent.Kid-friendliness: Good kid menu with smaller versions of the actual menu items!“
“We’ve seen the Bierhaus many times on trips to Wisconsin. This was the time for our first visit. The Bavarian Bierhaus is part of a complex dedication to German traditions and culture. There are soccer fields, an outdoor village, and the bier hall and restaurant. The fired cheese curds were rich and delicious. And cubed, which I’ve never seen before. The sausage was tasty too. We tried the Oktoberfest brat & the Hungarian. Nice, spicy mustard. Recommend the Marzen too named Unkel Dunkel. Again, all solid, traditional recipes. We will be back with family & friends. Recommended.“
“So, for some reason, I've been having a taste for Culver's 3 Piece Fried Cod Dinner. I've ordered it like 4-5 times within the last 10 days. When they fry right (not undercooked or hard & overcooked) it's been perfect. But I need for Culver's should represent the fact that they have actual vegetables on their menu. So, my order now is "3-Piece Fried Cod Dinner with broccoli, mashed potatoes & a dinner roll. #filling“
“The menu is absolutely huge. There are tons of options such as pizza, chicken, pasta, burgers, steaks, and tons of cheesecakes. The bathrooms were clean, the food was amazing, and the service was fantastic!I had the Parmesan crusted chicken with the mashed potatoes and green beans with plain cheesecake. 10/10!Parking: If it’s busy it might be hard to find parking due to it being street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a lot of tables for people to sit at, not just booths.“
“I love frozen custard and as a recent transplant to the Midwest, I've been reveling in the opportunities to enjoy it more as it's not widely available on the East Coast. I was visiting Milwaukee for a day, and all the guides said you have to go to Kopp's! I got there in the mid-afternoon and it was busy; you can tell it's always busy. They have plenty of parking, some outdoor seating, and a bunch of cows in the back. Everyone there was working hard. I ended up just ordering a basic vanilla cone (you can't go wrong with vanilla) and the person at the register charged me for a small but gave me a medium. Maybe they felt badly that the couple in front of me cut me in line? I don't know but it was worth the extra trip away from downtown to try the historic Kopp's.“
