“Enjoyed a weekend breakfast at Dia Cafe. Staff was friendly. The cafe was very busy, a little bit of a wait, no problem, it's a Saturday morning. The Turkey Melt was good, lots of cheese. Latte was good too. Loved the decor. It was just a bit loud. Hard to have a conversation. But I would still return. May try the connecting restaurant for brunch.“

“GOOD GOLLY OH MOLLY this place SLAPS. Let me tell anyone reading this, this place is WORTH IT. I had the absolute privilege and pleasure of trying their food and will most certainly make this restaurant a staple. The roasted coconut drink (no photo as I drank it as fast as humanly possible) was great, almost like Nab Vam with tapioca jelly strips but a very rich coconut flavor. The Thai coffee was creamy, full flavored and delicious. The mango sticky rice had remarkably fresh mango, finished off perfectly with a sweet coconut cream. And a personal favorite, pad see ew, was some of the best I’ve had. The sauce was present but not too soupy or heavy— just the right amount to flavor the dish very well. The vegetables were fresh, crisp and bright against the dark soy and oyster sauces. The beef was tender, and the portions were good. While picking up my order I got to chat with the staff and relax inside. The interior is cozy, well decorated and clean. The staff were all insanely nice, showing me orders coming out of the kitchen so I could know what to get next time, love this spot!“

“My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here. The "salad" bar had so many delicious choices. Our favorite was the cheese bread. It must have been a hit because it was picked clean twice while we were there. All of the meat sliced at the table was tender and delicious. Wear stretchy pants because you'll leave full!Parking: You can park in the BMO parking garage and the restaurant will validate your ticket so it will be free. Very nice?“

“We have been meaning to dine at La Merenda and by the time we've gotten around to it, we've realized we should have come much sooner!! It's tucked away on a side street off S 1st and has a very homey, yet eclectic feel when you walk in! Our server was so nice and was happy to answer any/all questions. The food was simply to die for. We started with some drinks and the beet salad, which had warm goat cheese on top - this really tied it all together. Then we ordered the lamb bolognese (our favorite by far), kung pao chicken (very spicy but so flavorful), and the Argentinian beef (a great cut of meat). We decided to get dessert because why not. The waiter highly recommended the Irish car bomb cake and it did not disappoint!! We will definitely be returning here regularly!“

“Everything is awesome...I know it's hard to believe but it's true. Their candor is dope, Devin is a wizard of brewed things and trust me, the bagels (everything bagel is my fav), croissants, macrons & bread loaves (the pizza bread is amazing for grilled cheese sandwiches) are fantastic. The new breakfast toasts are also worth checking out too. Below is a "pop tart" they made last week and I never knew a pop tart could be elevated but WOW. Awesome.“

“We celebrated our dad’s 80th birthday here, the second big milestone our family has celebrated at Parkside 23. The food was absolutely delicious and our server, Aaron, did a phenomenal job! The private room was perfect for us with just over twenty guests. It was a great space and beautiful ambiance. Our event coordinator, Brittany, was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend it!“

“I truly enjoyed the customer service given to my husband and me from DJ. DJ was very helpful and patient with us as we asked questions about the menu. DJ's customer service was amazingly friendly. “I always point people to this spot when they ask where my favorite pizza is. I love the unique combinations that they come up with. We got two pizzas and some spinach artichoke dip. Our server had a lot of energy and was very attentive. We made a reservation on a Thursday and I'm glad we did because the place was poppin. There was live music, too.“

“Super cute place with a warm and welcoming environment. You can tell the owner is a very dedicated and caring soul. The food options are wonderful and all taste amazing and their presentation is beautiful. “Having been on quite a few brewery tours over the years, I was expecting “status quo” on this one, but NOPE! This was hands down the BEST brewery tour I’ve been on thus far! Our tour guide Justin is a national treasure & deserves a HUGE raise! We laughed so hard on this tour, learned a lot, sampled some fantastic beer & left with great gifts & a plethora of fun stories to share with our friends! If you’re in WI & a brewery tour is on your list of things to do then run don’t walk to sign up for a Lakefront Brewery tour! Buy your tickets online in advance & then enjoy! “We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. If you go to Milwaukee, eat here!!!! (but definitely make a reservation!) This was seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. And our server (Tanya) was so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back next time we are in town.“

“My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“Lagniappe Brasserie has been a favorite gem of a restaurant of mine for many years. Chef Andrew Tenaglia never fails to bring fresh, locally sourced food to the table. In all the years of operation, I have have never had a bad meal and the service has always been spectaculator. I was happy to hear about and support curb-side pick up during the COVID-19 epidemic. I encourage to place an order or two to help support this local independently owned and operated area restaurant so they will be there for us in the future.“

“All dishes are good. I tried lomo salteado(beef with fries and white rice) i did arroz con pollo(chicken with cilantro rice) fried rice with chicken and egg. The fish ceviche its good while u like raw fish and they add sweet potato to it which i never thought i would like with lime juice but its good. I tried one empanada peruana and one columbiana y liked the peruana better. I would be returning here. Prices used to be lower but the flavor is really good so its worth the price. For a group of 5 ppl it was $140.“

“Tasty healthier bakery with a great selection! LOVE their cashew butter cookies, they are so tasty and have an almost cookie dough texture. The people here are SO NICE, seriously might be the nicest in the game. You can tell their passionate about this business and these bake goods. “I’ve tried the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken and also the Teriyaki Salmon..They’re both pretty good. Any dish you order comes with your choice of rice and veggies. I got the Brown Rice and ordered it without onions or zucchini. The Broccoli that came with it was nice and fresh and complimented the chicken well. Their egg rolls are legit and crispy. It comes with a sesame oil type sauce. They do have soy sauce packets and also extra Teriyaki sauce bottles if you want to put more on your food. If you want the meal it comes with a soda and I believe an egg roll..I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a quick, decent and somewhat healthy meal.“

“This place is SO good. I came here out of state to visit a friend. We had lunch here with her daughter. Our pesto portobello mushroom sandwiches were both refreshing and filled with flavor. The smoothies are also very good. We had a small mess up on our order and they fixed it right away and corrected the issue. Amazing service, Amazing food. We will be back!“

“We ate here on 3/9. The food, cocktails and the service were amazing. Knocking a star off for the hostess who told us we needed to be out of there by a certain time. The kitchen got backed up so courses were coming out a little slow. This normally doesn’t bother me but since the hostess told us when we had to be gone, it ruined my ability to enjoy the entree and dessert as I was worried about getting out of there on time. It shouldn’t be something the hostess puts onto the patrons. It was our first time there and I am not sure about returning.“

“We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. “A cute corner shop providing top tier service, delectable nibbles and quality sips! So far, everything I've had has been great. My personal favorite/go-to is the lox bagel with a side salad. It's a delicious combination that hits the spot every time. I enjoy their indoor environment when it's not too crowded otherwise it can get a bit noisy. Their outdoor seating in the warmer months makes for a great setting to enjoy a nice meal, a cup of coffee, and the warm weather. Staff is friendly and attentive, to-go orders are always ready on time, and the place is always clean.“

“Well this was a delightful surprise! I attended a themed pop up here and it is absolutely charming. There is an incredible selection of beer and liquor. They even have quite a few mixed drinks available. All of the staff was absolutely wonderful even the guy checking IDs at the door had a smile on his face. It is cozy, comfy, and bright inside. I don't know why there's this trend of painting the interior of bars "stage black" but I'm glad sugar maple has bucked that trend. If I find myself near Milwaukee fancying myself a drink I will definitely make a return visit!“

The steaks were done to perfection, the asparagus was not mushy and overdone, the French onion soup was perfectly seasoned, not overly salty. The salad was cold, crisp, and a nice size serving in a cold bowl. The prices were more than fare and we were not rushed out. The atmosphere was not overly crowded. “Love this place!! As the daughter of a baker I will always support local bakeries and luckily this one is so close to my house and so good!! If you want a donut or pastry make sure to get up early, because they don't last long! I love the cinnamon rolls (have just the slightest lemon flavor in the glaze which makes them so perfect!!) for breakfast with a cup of their coffee, the Italian cookies for an afternoon pick me up, and the hot ham and rolls on a Sunday! Everyone who works there is always so nice and I've never ordered something that I didn't love!!“

Our food was consistent with what N&C’s flavor should be and what we’ve had before, the tables were clean and so were the soda/condiment area, as well as the bathrooms. “Always on the lookout for a great burger and curds. The spicy cheese curds were easily the best I have had in years. Super gooey and the spices give them a great kick. As for the burger, I went with the one with jalepeno aioli. What a perfect choice! I used absolutely no ketchup yet the burger had a great mixture of flavors and texture. I'm going back next time I'm in Milwaukee.“
