“Pleasantly surprised! The drinks were delicious, the smoky old fashioned came with a toasted marshmallow! , great Pinot noir wine . There was a waiting line bit soon , they gave us seats at the bar and 15 mins later our table was ready . They were super busy so it took 40 mins for the food to come but we knew it was going to be worth it . The chicken wild rice soup was delightful!! We all had steaks. They were tender , juicy, buttery , the sides were divine . The waitresses were excellent, the price was fair. This place should be a supper club !! It was my friend’s birthday So they gave him a delicious dessert for free and the WHOLE restaurant sang happy birthday to him ! So glad we went ! Would very much recommend!!”

“It was breakfast time and they were pretty busy but we got a table right away. Waitress brought our water to the table right away, got our drink order, and we had our food within 20 min. of ordering. Very good food and service! Would definitely eat here again.”

“I work in the industry, so I hate putting a place on blast, but jeez. it was awful. I always thought it was an old adage that the steak was tough as old shoe leather, but I finally experienced it. The tenderloin sandwich was inedible. The bourbon sauce was good, but couldn't make up for the fact that the meat could barely be cut with a sharp steak knife. How do you make tenderloin that tough? The chicken BLT tasted okay, but was sloppily thrown together. And the fries!!!! How do you get thin cut fries to be so soggy and limp like chow mein noodles? I planned on going back to see if the Italian Beef stood up to where I grew up, but I won't be going back. $35 for 2 sandwiches with fries? No drinks, no apps? This was a $24 order tops at any reasonable joint, and one that serves way better food. I'm aware that most of the reviews are good, but I'm sure that's family and friends. If you've never been, don't go. It was like flushing $35 down the toilet. Even McD's would have been better. Sorry.”

“Excellent food and service. Prime rib was incredible (should've been called prime roast) queen was huge and incredibly tasty. Ribs were fall off the bone Excellent. Our waitress, server, bartender was amazing. Will definitely stop in when back in the area. I give it a 10 out of 10.”

“We finally got a chance to try Tamarack's this summer and it was AMAZING. It was busy but we were seated within 20 minutes. Excellent service. Super fun atmosphere. We got the ribs (of course) and the BBQ pizza with the gluten free crust. It was the BEST gluten free crust we've ever had. Throughout our meal we had to keep reminding ourselves to slow down so we could keep eating, and eating! My pinot noir was also excellent.”

Awesome selection and good hit food was available I had the spaghetti one grandson had grilled cheese, the other one had hot beef with gravy, and their dad had salads.

“Exactly what I'd hope for in a bar and grill on the lake. Had the chicken strips and was very pleased with the flavor and quality. Sampled the beef french dip sandwich and was wonderfully surprised by the flavor and quality. Our menu questions were answered sincerely and promptly. Clean and quaint bar set up with friendly staff. Cools were singing along to the radio in the back. Only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.”

“Diane is working by herself so don’t expect snappy service. She is absolutely delightful and a pleasure to talk to about anything. You can order whatever you want as long as it’s a burger and fries. And let me say that the half pound burger on a sourdough bun is among the BEST I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the quaint and cozy atmosphere as well. She only takes cash so be prepared and tip her well.”

“I’ve never been to a Caribou that isn’t excellent, and this location within a store is no exception. Service was fast and friendly, the decor was well designed. The only problem was the sheer number of flies in the seating area. It’s not their fault, per se, since they’re right off the entrance of the grocery store, but they need to figure something out because it made for a poor experience.”

“We stayed at Deerfoot Resort to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. Cabin 8 was roomy and we loved the screened in porch. The grounds and docks were beautifully maintained. Amanda and her staff were very warm and accommodating. A big THANKS to Jordan and Casey for helping us out with the rental boat! The lodge serves tasty burgers and the chicken salad sandwich was good too. It was the perfect week! Deerfoot Resort is a wonderful place to make family memories!”

“Stopped for a late lunch as we were driving by. Debated about the special for the day but sounded like too much food for me (could have shared). My son had the 1 pound Mighty Hurricane burger and I had the Somewhere Else Club. Both were very good but the side of fries were definitely not our favorite. The bar was pretty quiet as it was an odd time of day. The bartender was friendly and knew the locals as they came in. The locals were also friendly as we chatted at the bar.”

“We went for the first time last night for the fish fry. Everything was amazing! The fish was lightly breaded and had great taste, it, along with the steak cut fries were cooked to perfection. A tasty old fashioned. Fantastic service from Bonnie. My niece inhaled her burger, and we even shared a delectable dessert. Wonderful experience!”

The Ancient Grains loaf was still fresh and warm from the oven, and the baker/host thoughtfully packaged it for my journey. The apple oatmeal cookie I selected to eat in the car was to die-for. There is a cute bookshelf where children can get a free book. Very cute jewelry available too. Affordable prices and as a coffee connoisseur, the best caramel macchiato I have ever had! “A local recommended this place to us. It was cool to see the interesting mounts! Great atmosphere, and there was some great music playing on the jukebox! The bartender was the only one working and he was great! This was the afternoon of 10-5-2024. He was busy and keeping things clean, and all were severed promptly. My husband even asked him the best spot to see some bear. He didn't think we would see any but told us of a good spot to see some elk! Definitely recommend checking this place out! We only had drinks!”
