“Grew up going to things at the Janesville Moose Lodge with my grandparents. Back when it was still down the road still, a blue building i beleive. My grandfather even donated all his time here the rest his life. He loved it here. We had a service for him here even. Always friendly people, good food, drinks, etc. Some my oldest best memories with my grandparents are at the moose club!“
“It's usually really good. Unfortunately part of my dinner was wrong and I didn't know it until I got home. I had ordered chicken chimichangas cut into one the next day for supper. It was ground beef... good but when you crave that chicken they make beef just doesn't cut it.“

“I was on a date with my boyfriend when we were both lured in by the delicious smells of burgers. We had never eaten here before, and I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. This was one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I had ever tasted, and the fries were amazing! Service was fast and excellent too.“
“Solid authentic Mexican seafood restaurant. This is not your standard run-of-the-mill fare either. Coming in from the twin cities on my way to my hometown of Chicago, I stopped by and was pleasantly surprised by the distinct family-style flavors here. I ordered the labgostinos dish and shrimp ceviche. Both were more than enough for me and possible another person if I had company. Solid. :)“

Limited menu items which keeps the strengths on the fresh food prepared quickly.My favorite item is the volcano bowl, though the large chunks of yellow/white onion I've gotten in my bowl the last couple of times I ordered it can overpower the fish (and have other humans and some housepets avoiding you for the rest of the day from the breath ) so I recommend going light on the onion or requesting a little green onion instead.When available, they also have an excellent generous portion of seaweed salad for a great price. Pairs especially well with spicier bowls.The medium bowl size is quite large and will likely be plenty for many diners. Large has proven to be too much for me, and I'm a, erm, happy eater ? Generous protein helpings in each bowl I've tried.I've enjoyed everything I've had here, although since it's a small place, a few times some items have been out of stock, so if you're having a big craving and it's a bit of a drive for you, call ahead and make sure they have what you want.“
