“We were happy with everything about this place. Love the decor music vibe as soon as you get there. Amazing service from everyone and made an out of tower feel so welcome. Food was delicious we had walleye fish fry and duck wontons. The owner made a non alcoholic grasshopper so amazing. Relish dish was outstanding felt like I was at my grandmas. Will be back 5 star in my book and price is very reasonable.”

“I was just in with a friend around 6:30 7/24 and had the best most professional service I've endured at a subway. I'd like to give a special shout out to Jamison, that young man is absolutely incredible. He possesses excellent leadership skills, takes charge and is incredibly kind. He is prompt and thorough. This young man deserves a raise and a promotion”

“My SO and I ate at Anchor Down for Father's Day. The restaurant was rightfully crazy busy on such a day, but we got a table immediately and recieved great service. Our meals came quick and were phenomenal. I do think the restaurant could you a face lift, but don't let that keep you away: the food and the people were phenomenal. Must try!”

To the girl who worked this past Sunday and who made a mans daughter cry in front of us because she was so rude to her because there was a mistake in the order, you do not deserve your job. The father even said please just get her a cone I will pay for it and this cashier girl rolled her eyes and proceeded to do it but I have never seen such attitude. If you wonder who she is she had shorter hair pulled back and wore a tie dye shirt. Every other employee was amazing, but this young girl who made this mans daughter cry should be ashamed of herself. Our ice cream and stuff was good, but the eye roll she did more then once is what prompted me to write this review.”

“We just stopped after a day of rock hounding Lake Michigan. We ordered the family style chicken dinner, oh my gosh! It was amazing! I felt like I was eating at grandmas with the best homemade food! We were so full, then dessert came out, come on! Sooooo good! We will absolutely be back!!!!”

“Did a Google search for "best burger near me," and this place was on the list. Stopped in on our way home from hiking at Point Beach State Park. Dive bar like atmosphere with additional restaurant like seating area. Ordered at the bar, food was great, and the bartender lady (forgot her name, but her photos came up when I did the Google search) was awesome! Great conversation, very knowledgeable, loved and respected by all the locals, and awesome mixologist. I do not drink alcohol, and so she whipped up some amazing mocktails for me to enjoy. I will stop again every time I am in thelat area.”
