“The restaurant is beautiful and peaceful, just perfect! While it is rather minor, the waitstaff forgot to refill my requested beverage until nearly the end of our eating. The restaurant only had 3 other tables, so not a case of being too busy. In a restaurant of this caliber and price, I expect nearly 100% every time. Aside from that, we were very pleased with our choices: salmon and French onion soup.“
“Loved the atmosphere here. The baristas seemed a bit put-off to be helping us, especially when I didn't know you picked up the food at a window way in the back and I asked about it. My friend's coffee drink got forgotten, and one barista was way nicer after that. The coffee (some kind of rosemary mocha) was really amazing, as was the cinnamon butter biscuit. I would love to try more food and the brunch cocktails next time.“
“Java Vino was hoppin today. Despite being so busy the service was stellar and the food was epic. I got the curried chicken salad sandwich today and it was out of this world. I highly recommend Java Vino. Even if they quote a wait time, it’s worth the wait.“
“A comfortable and peaceful place to have a great cup of coffee. I had a chai latte and a cranberry orange scone which were both delicious. The staff were very polite and gave me a warm greeting when I walked in. There are couches and soft chairs as well as tables and chairs so you have options on how you would like to sit and enjoy your beverage. “This is the most adorable Caribou Coffee (or any coffee shop, for that matter) that I've ever seen. I mean, look at it! The service was fast and friendly at the walk-up window. My beverage was delicious, and the outside seating was great.“
“Love that it's connected to a bookstore, first thing. The old-fashioned booths are so cute. I got an iced coffee flight, which is such a cool idea. I got an iced mocha, and iced lavender mocha, cold brew with sweet foam, and barista's choice (vanilla cinnamon). I only really liked the iced mocha, but I tried. My friend and I both got the Grandad's Bluff savory crepe, and we both asked for it without brussels sprouts. Hers came first, and they didn't say anything. Then they turned to me and said that the brussels sprouts were pre-mixed in with the micro greens and did I want something else like green onions and micro greens? So my friend had the brussels sprouts on hers but somehow I didn't. She didn't end up sending it back, but it was kind of weird. The crepe wasn't great - should have gone with berry one, which was my gut instinct. Super friendly servers, though!“
“I have been here several times and it never disappoints! The best coffee in town! I love buying the whole beans and grinding them as needed at home...as well as the fact that they roast them in house. Great customer service and love the pastries! “Stopped in the afternoon to grab a drink. Great patio and the indoor was nice and welcoming. My Lavender Lotus Lemonade was delicious. Very refreshing and hit the spot. My husbands cold brew was fine. Their was one lady working the counter while another lady was working on food. For a busy weekend like Oktoberfest, I felt a little bad she was taking orders and then making the drinks too. We weren’t in a rush or anything and she was super friendly.“
“La crosse has many coffee shops, some better than others. This is definitely among if not the very best I have had so far, very smooth. Only regret is they do not have Jamaican blend but if they did it would be so good it would disrupt the time continuum so it’s probably a good thing.“

“Mimi’s Kitchen has the absolute best fried catfish I have ever eaten!!! The portions of fish, fries and hushpuppies are large and actually enough for tomorrows lunch as well! “Absolutely the most charming coffee shop you will ever find. Don't let the high end look and feel of the place fool you, the people that work here are super friendly and down to earth. I came in wearing my work overalls and they were extremely pleasant. Cappuccino was great.“
