Not here! You can tell that this dish is made from scratch. I'd love to take an IV direct into my vein and just pipe the gravy into my bloodstream. *Chef's Kiss*Buttermilk PancakesPancakes are hearty and filling. I'd have no problems recommending the pancakes here.If you're looking for value and QUANTITY, go somewhere else. If you're looking for a true under the radar breakfast place, with great and quick service, friendly atmosphere, and all the dishes coming out perfect and fresh. It's worth the money. Easily a top 10 hidden gem breakfast spot in the LaCrosse/Onalaska area.Biscuits and gravy, BEST IN THE AREA.“

“Great little drive-thru coffee shop. Service is great, and quick, even with a lot of cars ahead of you. Everything we've tried has never disappointed us. Smoothie options for the kids or they can get any of the coffee options without any espresso. Highly recommend! I will say I was a little shocked by the price when I ordered 02 cinnamon rolls and 02 coffee and the total came to $23, but that is probably pretty close to other coffee shops in the area. They were delicious though!“

“Every time my wife and I go here I get a banana Strawberry smoothie and my wife gets a mocha, they were out of my regular and suggested a strawberry mangosmoothie. It was just as good as my other drink. No matter the outside temperature, I still love smoothies over a hot drink but my wife likes a hot drink especially in cold temperatures.Kid-friendliness: Staff is always cheerful, talkative and friendly.“

“The restaurant is beautiful and peaceful, just perfect! While it is rather minor, the waitstaff forgot to refill my requested beverage until nearly the end of our eating. The restaurant only had 3 other tables, so not a case of being too busy. In a restaurant of this caliber and price, I expect nearly 100% every time. Aside from that, we were very pleased with our choices: salmon and French onion soup.“

“Loved the atmosphere here. The baristas seemed a bit put-off to be helping us, especially when I didn't know you picked up the food at a window way in the back and I asked about it. My friend's coffee drink got forgotten, and one barista was way nicer after that. The coffee (some kind of rosemary mocha) was really amazing, as was the cinnamon butter biscuit. I would love to try more food and the brunch cocktails next time.“

“Java Vino was hoppin today. Despite being so busy the service was stellar and the food was epic. I got the curried chicken salad sandwich today and it was out of this world. I highly recommend Java Vino. Even if they quote a wait time, it’s worth the wait.“

“The chai tea base is vegan and they have oat milk or almond milk to mix it with. I ordered it iced with oatmilk, I highly recommend it. My daughter loves the strawberry banana smoothie, and it is also vegan. I didn't see any vegan options for food, and I wasn't told there were any available when I asked.“

“I came to get some coffee while in La Crescent. The coffee was delicious, the staff was friendly and the bang for your buck is better than any coffee shop I've been to! When I ordered a small and medium coffee I expected something much smaller but these were decent sizes!! Very pleased, will definitely be back!“

“A comfortable and peaceful place to have a great cup of coffee. I had a chai latte and a cranberry orange scone which were both delicious. The staff were very polite and gave me a warm greeting when I walked in. There are couches and soft chairs as well as tables and chairs so you have options on how you would like to sit and enjoy your beverage. “Love that it's connected to a bookstore, first thing. The old-fashioned booths are so cute. I got an iced coffee flight, which is such a cool idea. I got an iced mocha, and iced lavender mocha, cold brew with sweet foam, and barista's choice (vanilla cinnamon). I only really liked the iced mocha, but I tried. My friend and I both got the Grandad's Bluff savory crepe, and we both asked for it without brussels sprouts. Hers came first, and they didn't say anything. Then they turned to me and said that the brussels sprouts were pre-mixed in with the micro greens and did I want something else like green onions and micro greens? So my friend had the brussels sprouts on hers but somehow I didn't. She didn't end up sending it back, but it was kind of weird. The crepe wasn't great - should have gone with berry one, which was my gut instinct. Super friendly servers, though!“

My husbands cold brew was fine. Their was one lady working the counter while another lady was working on food. For a busy weekend like Oktoberfest, I felt a little bad she was taking orders and then making the drinks too. We weren’t in a rush or anything and she was super friendly.“

“La crosse has many coffee shops, some better than others. This is definitely among if not the very best I have had so far, very smooth. Only regret is they do not have Jamaican blend but if they did it would be so good it would disrupt the time continuum so it’s probably a good thing.“
