“Just discovered Lorelei Bittner's Bakery. It's wonderful. Smells so gummy. The selection is massive with many confections delicacies. Everything is fresh and homemade. Bittner's sells out many items fast so ordering ahead is recommended.Highly recommend.“
“Super nice service and very interesting choices on the bakery items. Delicious and nutritious looking whole breads and also little sweet items. We tried the little cheese cake and no flour brownie and both were very rich and sweet and perfect to refuel on sugar during our long bike ride. The prices are bold but ok for the quality. The place was tidy and well presented, well worked with the small space. The bathroom was clean. I recommend.“
“I ordered a birthday cake for my mom's 100th birthday from Walmart bakery in Lake Geneva. Olivia was thorough, helpful, patient, understanding and fun. AND most importantly, Olivia baked thee best and cutest cake everrrrrr! My sister ordered a cake from local award winning bakery and Olivia's cake blew theirs outa the water. Walmart cake had perfect amount of tasty buttercream and the cake was delicious, tender and moist. Everyone complimented Olivia's cake on taste and decoration. From now on, Olivia at Walmart is my go to cake place!“
“Hadn't been to a Piggly Wiggly in years. Stopped by for a late night shopping trip in Lake Geneva. Loved the stroll down "memory lane." Such a clean store with such friendly employees. After eight, unfortunately the deli was not open, but stocked up on fruits, veggies, local jams, fresh bread and Wisconsin cheese for a mini vacation. Look for specials on fruits and vegetables. Blueberries were three pints for $5. Seedless watermelon was $2.99. English cucumbers for $.99. The local tomatoes were so good. Check out the wall of local Wisconsin products like jellies and jams. The dairy section has a large selection of Wisconsin cheese and cheese curds from local dairies. Perfect place to shop for a weekend getaway to th lake.“

Not only were the macaroons and brownies amazing but Chad was also kind and generous enough to donate them to help our cause! “The pretzels, kringle and coffee cake are the best bar none!!! The cinnamon bread is fabulous for french toast! My husband and I will make this our ‘go to’ bakery for these baked goods! The only disappointments were the pies. The blueberry was gelatinous with very few blueberries, no blueberry taste and an overabundance of streusel topping. The chocolate silk pie had an odd chocolate flavor and a pasty texture. Neither pie had a flakey bottom crust.Because we like the other baked goods so very much, i would still like to give Baker Meister a 4.5 rating!!!!“
“Hazel’s Diner Tarot and High Tea April 2024 My daughter and I attended “Tarot and High Tea” at Hazel’s Diner and enjoyed THE BEST tasting food of any High Tea we’ve ever been to. All of the finger sandwiches are on their homemade breads. We especially enjoyed the roast beef, and the turkey. From the sweet things on the tea tower our mutual favorite was the lemon custard filled croissant. There were plenty of flavored tea selections for every palate. And what a fun addition to have a tarot card reading! We love High Tea and have been to: The Palm Court at both The Drake in Chicago and The Plaza in NYC, The Tea Room at Harrod’s in London, Tea at 1024 in Honolulu, HI, and High Tea at The Baker House in Lake Geneva. The tea tower of food at Hazel’s High Tea beats all of them with their fresh, homemade food. You can taste the love and care that goes into every morsel. We will be back again and again!“
“We hosted 2, back to back, events with Deb Mindham of Hazels/Tarts and Truffles and she was amazing to work with! We booked with her a year before the wedding weekend from the East Coast and she spent much time with us on numerous phone calls, planning the events. The buffet dinner was delicious with an abundance of food. The appetizer/dessert spread for our additional event was fabulous! Her team of servers were very professional and serviced both of our events in an incredibly attentive way. Our events were perfectly taken care of. Highly recommend“
“The best!!! Get all of it because the gelato is delicious and a welcome alternative to ice cream and the house made cream puffs are, in my husband’s opinion, a dream come true. The baklava is perfect and we’re going to try some of the grab and go specialties this weekend. Such a great addition to LG.“
