“I've eaten at Next Door Pub twice. Fantastic both times. The food is awesome, the menu is extensive, the service is very friendly and efficient. This place is ALWAYS packed, lunch or dinner. Locals love it. Very casual.Lots of seating for large or small groupsReasonable prices. Lots of parking. Highly recommend.”
“We had great experience, Sasha was amazing, interactive, friendly and professional. Food was yummy, great choices available on the menu for food and beverages with reasonable prices and pleasant atmosphere. We are from NZ and here for a few days, so definitely will be going back.”
“We originally came here when they first opened and were here this past weekend. I love all the options to choose from. They have options for kids to drink as well, the pretzel bites are great. One thing most people might not know is you are allowed to bring in outside food to eat while you drink. They also have merchandise for sale like t-shirts, hoodies and hats.Parking: Street parking can be paid or there are plenty of free public parking depending on time of day or season.Kid-friendliness: There are kid friendly drink and food options.”
“We stopped in based on all the recommendations we read on a Facebook page that discusses all things local to the area. This restaurant was mentioned over and over as having the best burger around, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious. The homemade fries and chips were fantastic, too. We can't wait to go back! Just a note - there are only a couple of low tables. Most every table and chair is a high bar table/stool. Luckily, the low table was available and my elderly mom was comfortable.”
“The food was amazing and it was well portioned. Me and the ladies were just heading out from swimming and we’re walking around when we seen this place and had to try it! Glad we did! They were busy so we knew they had to be good!”
“Stopped on the way out of Lake Geneva . We didn't have reservations . Nice lil supper club. Had the duck strips as an app and then fish for dinner it was delicious.”
“Waiting on my wife who is across the street at a bridal shower so I needed a place to hang out, the idea of being surrounded by a bunch of screaming woman is pure torture to me, ok so here's the review I parked at legends and walked in the place is clean and well lit, I ordered the old fashion burger and it was cooked perfectly the onion and the tomato were fresh and both crisp and it's the best burger I've had in awhile, I upgraded to the sweet potato's fry's and I'm glad I did they were very flavorful and honestly I'm not sure if that's a word but you get the picture, if I'm ever in the area I'll gladly go back the staff is friendly and polite and the entire visit was a pleasant experience”
“Seriously my favorite place to start my weekend night out! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I absolutely love trying their unique beers! I had the mangonada and it was so good! The wonton mozz-sticks and the pollo fresco burger are my go to, they never disappoint. Love the vibe in this place, it does get crowded but worth the wait!! A must stop if you're in LG!”
“First time at the new location. Food was just as good! Great view of Como lake! Got the CRB Flat bread. Cheesy, meaty, saucy goodness. Bacon has a nice smoky flavor to it too.”
“Guac Star came highly recommended by a friend, so we had to investigate. The restaurant was chill and the service was too. Nick was super helpful and kept us fairly entertained. I ordered 3 tacos with 3 different proteins (chicken, steak, and al pastor). I could destroy a daily stock of the al pastor tacos, and I would highly recommend the steak on a king burrito. The steak has a Nicaraguan flavor... delish! Guac Star is well worth the trip and cost!”
“I was in Lake Geneva for a couple of days and found myself in the mood for sushi.Sabai Sabai was one of the highest rated restaurants in Lake Geneva, so we gave it a try.Ordered: shrimp tempura (appetizer), spicy tuna roll, California roll, and Godzilla roll, with mango sticky rice for dessert. The shrimp tempura had a light, crisp coating - better than most other versions I've had. They were petite and delightful. It's tough to avoid oil flavoring the food in an unpleasant way, but the flavorful ponzu sauce was great. The sushi was excellent, as good as I've ever had so far from the freshness of a coastal city. The plating of the sticky rice was interesting, A shared plate with two tiny forks featuring a lump of rice and a delicately sliced segment of fresh mango in a pool of sweetened milk sauce. It wasn't bad, but it wouldn't be something I would order again. I've had much better. The restaurant is in a historic manor building. Essentially, a big old house. As such, the layout and seating is trying to maximize minimal space. It was a Friday evening and the place was hopping. It felt cramped, and I wasn't comfortable being so close to other diners' tables - but if the last four years have taught me anything, it's that capitalism doesn't leave room for comfort or safety.Perhaps the most pleasant part of the experience was the host, who (if I were to guess) was an owner or manager. She was friendly and genuinely appreciated our business.Parking is a situation that locals probably do just fine with, but being from out of town, we ended up in a paid lot which was a pain in the butt and about $3 more expensive than it needed to be, given the time of year and demand. If you're in Lake Geneva, Sabai Sabai is a solid choice.”
“My daughter loves the boba drinks. We treat her on special occasions, she loves the fresh tapioca. We were greeted quickly and our order taken right away. Great service, thank you.Kid-friendliness: My daughter is a huge fan, she is 11. Many of the specialty drinks are love by kids and teens.”
“Great Italian food in a lovely restaurant! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! We came on a Saturday with no reservation (not quite yet during season) and were welcomed in with only a very slight wait. We'll definitely return!”
“Came here on a random Wednesday night and was greeted instantly by the bartender. He was quick to get my friend and i drinks and followed it up with a friendly conversation. Overall i will definitely be back, along with bringing more friends to share this experience with.”
“Our 1st and last stop on our honeymoon in beautiful Lake GenevaLove the old time feel of this tin car Diner. Great coffee, happy and friendly staff and food so yummy, we would drive an hour just to eat at Joni's.”
