Excellent food and service, the cocktails were excellent as well. Our server was attentive but not overwhelming. Prices were pretty reasonable, at comparable places you can expect to pay $30-50 more. My only complaint is that entree portion sizes are pretty paltry. If you don't get an appetizer you should probably expect to leave still peckish.
I hestitate to write this review for fear this place gets as popular as it should be. Food tasty, creative, and varied. Great beer list and oysters.Service professional and personable. Ambience welcoming and - best of all - quiet enough for conversation. Would give this 6 stars if I could.Vegetarian options: Starters, salads, pasta.

The one and only is a fine madison, wi restaurant in Monroe street. Parking in the street is usually available before 6 pm. After 6 pm you may need to drive into nearby residential streets.The food is consistently delicious except for most of the desserts. The Keylime pie is always delicious and has big fans.
