“Ok. My backstory first.Drive past this place every week, and have noticed it prior to driving past every day for work. Been on the buckelist for some time.We go in today, packed in a great way. All the patrons were very orderly and courteous with new faces coming in. Invited us to the bar to get an old fashioned, and helped us out with the process: You order a drink and say you want to order, and they will find you. We were skeptical, but sure schnitzel, they found us to order. Drinks were great with an amazing offering, and pretty great beer selection as well.Food: Amazing staff handling thr seating, and offering suggestions. Love the sweet tooth integration with orders (have to visit to see what I mean). Spot on Fritters to start?!?!?! Strawberry soup?? Think the cold slurry that is the best part of a strawberry Sunday. Unexpected, but great! Steak was a great cut and prepared exactly how I ordered- chef recommendation. My wife got the perch, which was light and amazing as well. To finish, we got the pistachio cheesecake. What. The. Heck. Amazing. VERY well done- kudos to the female chef that was on the edge thinking it was too sweet, from what we heard...Been on the buckelist for some time, glad we stopped and will be back.Thank you folks, and CHEERS!“
“I am not a wings fan, but I fell in LOVE with Tommy J's wings! You gotta ask for the bone-in wings that are NOT on the menu. A best kept secret. Also, the Reubens sandwich is to die for. The new owners put a lot of thought and care into the quality of the food. This is a comfortable, clean Wisconsin tavern in the Holyland. Fun special events and a great place to meet up with friends! OMG I almost forgot about the fried mushrooms - wow!“
“Always a busy place. The reason why is the service and the food is amazing. I was sitting at the end of the bar where all the take out orders were going out and was blow away. I was in no hurry and watching all the orders come out, I thought it may be awhile for food. I was wrong. Normal wait and my multiple bartenders were there taking care of me and make sure I had everything I wanted. If you hate crowds get the carry out! If you don’t mind take the time to slow down and just enjoy the music and the great service! I will be back! The Bluegill was great!“
“ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT!!! Backyard was packed. We waited a few minutes for a table, After we were seated, our server came immediately to take our drunk orders and an order for spinach, artichoke bacon dip. Our beverages came back immediately, followed by a steaming hot dip with plenty of chips and toasted bread. Our burgers and fries were made to order, served hot, with fries. Much too full for desserts. The server was extremely attentive, checking on us regularly. Reasonably priced.“
“Today we had our retirement party at the Red Cabin in the fireplace lounge. From start to finish, everything was excellent! “Always good food...Parking: The Culvers we go to can be hard to park at... There is enough parking but when you try to leave there is usually the drive thru line blocking your way... and sometimes the drive thru lane is so long you have to wait to even pull into the parking lot...“

“If you want an amazing Friday fish fry, this is the place for you. Generous portions of pearch, walleye, haddock, baked chicken, or a mixture of all of them. If you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right by it. The food is prepared in a kitchen that you would expect to find at someone's house and the food tastes like it. Growing up in WI, eating fish on Friday's almost my whole like, I've never been to a place this good. Still go back anytime I am in town visiting family. Make sure you ask for Barb as your waitress, she's as good as they come!“
“First time eating at Paula's pub and grill. The food was amazing, I had their prime rib. I asked for medium rare. It was more towards the medium to medium well, however it was very tender, very juicy and packed full of great flavor , by far one of the best prime ribs i've ever had . Customer service was almost too good if makes sense. Someone was checking on us every few minutes which could be a nuisance to some. However, they were very polite. Just wanted to make sure we have everything we want at all times or drinks being refilled at all times. After we were done eating but gentlemen who I would assume runs the bar ask my daughter if she would like a treat, he took her Joe basket of candy and allowed her to pick out whatever she wanted. I thought that was amazing and very kind. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because although it's winter it was a little colder inside then we liked. But overall Paula's pub and grill was amazingKid-friendliness: Before arriving I did call to make sure I could have my child with me who is under the age of 10 The lady that answered the phone told me I could once arrived. We sat down and that gentleman who again I assume runs. The bar came up to me and had a nice little chat about how they're welcoming to children even though it's set up more towards a bar then a pub and grill. They do have seating in the back for dining.“
