“We had a wonderful lunch at Gordo’s today. It’s a fun Mexican Restaurant with good food but what really sets it apart is the amazing, attentive service! We didn’t even order much and our server kept checking back to make sure we were doing ok and to see if we needed anything else. Our server also noticed that we were celebrating a birthday so he brought out a sombrero for the birthday girl to wear, a sopapilla, and he sang happy birthday. We would highly recommend Gordo’s!

“I've been to Kozy's since I was a child. Absolutely love the place. It's pretty cool bringing my own kids there. It is a staple of the community. I would suggest anyone to go check em out!!!”

“Such a fun place located deep in the farming community along all terrain and snowmobile trails and surrounded by beautiful woods and agricultural land. A perfect place to leave all the noise and bustle behind! A must stop!! Very friendly locals that love to have a good chat and a cold drink.”

“This was my second trip with Sandy Shores. The first time I went, I tent camped which was tent camping and the bathrooms were a bit scary. But this time for our annual friends float I rented a studio cabin. The bathrooms have also been updated and our no longer scary, they are actually pretty nice and with flushing toilets. The women’s bathroom ran out of supplies during my trip and I’m not sure who you notify of this but it all worked out. The showers in my opinion, the cost is a bit high at 25¢ for 38 seconds. The studio cabin I rented was in the same building as the bathrooms but it wasn’t an issue from the noise. I will say that setting up consisted of putting our food in the fridge, turning on our AC, and making our bed; which was great! My only complaint there would be that the pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable. I understand it was a pull out bed, but I feel like a futon would have even been a more comfortable choice. There’s only two studio cabins, and I feel like a little more investment could have been made in that area. Sleeping on 2 inches of springs covered by what felt like a fitted sheet was very uncomfortable. The float was a great time as always! I like that they come out on jet skis and check in with you, and don’t just leave you to figure it out on your own. One BIG plus is the bus to take you to and from the float is on site. So there’s no driving after a day of cocktails and sun. Will definitely go again regardless of the beds. Just have to bring a thick topper next time.”

“You might think that all dunkin' donuts are the same, but I just had such a kind interaction with the barista that I felt compelled to share. I ordered the wrong drink because I misunderstood the ingredients and she was so kind about it. I felt bad and was going to just drink it as I ordered it, but her kindness in giving me a shot of vanilla even though it was my mistake really brightened my day. Thank you!!”

“I have been coming to woodside for 5 years with my daughter. We love everything about the experience, especially being able to spend a few days on horseback. Accommodations are rustic and perfectly suited to the environment. The horses and wranglers are outstanding, and the trails reveal different aspects of Wisconsin's beauty in all seasons. Carly is an especially superb guide. We just returned home yesterday, and we're already planning our next trip.”
