“Enjoy the food, ? atmosphere is awesome.Kid-friendliness: Bartender's are awesome ?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there's wheel chair accessibility.”
“We had a wonderful Friday fish fry experience. After a short wait and a tasty cocktail we were seated. My wife had the fried cod and I had the grilled Maui Maui. Both meals were delicious and the service was excellent. We are always pleased with the consistent great food and service we receive at Angelo's!”
“For being a Tavern, it look more like a dive. Either good for me never going back to that place unless I get the food to take out.Parking: to the best of my knowledge, you can only park in front of the building”
“The latte was excellent! Service was good, employees were very friendly. We were greeted as we walked in. It's really cozy inside with plenty of seating.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly establishment.”
“Our family affectionately calls Palenque "Chips and Salsa" since they have the absolute best. Our 10 year-old always needs his own dish of salsa, it's that good. The grown ups have our go-tos of molcajete and fajitas fundida. We happily drive from the west side of Madison to enjoy their food.”
“It's just a great little Wisconsin tavern. You can tell they spent quite a bit on renovations at one point. They also have a few games.Parking: It can get pretty busy at times. You won't always get rockstar parking.”
“Their fresh baked bread is made right in the kitchen. There is a salad bar with soup and cheese spread. Couldn't ask for much more! The service and food are amazing!”
“Love this quaint Pizza Bar Restaurant! Affordable, good gluten free pizza and large pours of wine for a great price! Very local feel, friendly and if you don’t want to sit at the bar, there is a dining area. I highly recommend Spartan Pizza!”
“I have been coming here since pretty close to when they opened and they are amazing!! Delicious shakes and other things. They even open a little earlier so I am able to enjoy these each morning before work. Thank you!!”
“I drive from Stoughton to get their food. Quality and value of food is way better than anything we have gotten before in Stoughton. My wife particularly loves their crab ragoons. Have yet to have a dish I don't like and I try to switch it up every time we order from them.Kid-friendliness: My elementary school age children love their food. And this is a family run business so the owners always have their children in the shop helping out.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spots right in front of door”
“First time here, tried the #1, and it was was everything I wanted, with the emphasis being fresh, warm bacon in healthy quantities. Signed guitars in the showcase also very cool.”
“We've been visiting this Culver's for about 16 years and, while it's still a standard for us, unfortunately the service continues to deteriorate. Almost every other visit now at least one item is wrong or missing (we can't just count items - we have to open and inspect each one before leaving), and lately when I go back to correct the order I hardly even get an apology. The people are still very nice, but service is very much going in the wrong direction.”
“Stopped by for a quick bite and the guys here helped me out expediently. They made my food perfectly. Food was fresh and delicious, staff was skilled and professional, the lobby and prep station was clean and orderly. A+ for this Subway for sure. Thanks for making my day”
“The food is always good here. It's in a gas station so you can expect to much for the atmosphere. Service was the only issue getting different sauce then I asked for. Regular honey is regular honey not Dijon honey or honey mustard it's plain honey.”
“We had a wonderful experience at The Harvey House. The service was very friendly and personalized. The food was next level! We even had a surprise dessert come out at the end of the night to celebrate our wedding anniversary! I'd just been reading Unreasonable Hospitality and this place exemplifies that sort of fine dining experience.”
“Always reliable! Fast pick up and the BEST tomato pie in town! I worked in NJ for years and always had the greatest pizza there. Thanks for bringing this to Madison!”
“Amazing experience! Love this restaurant, food is tasty and good portions, service is great, everyone really looking to make this a wonderful experience. They are very cautious about food allergies, and have many GF options, including bread.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options, and the servers are very knowledgeable to provide additional information about what dishes are ok and which ones could be modified.”
“One of the best meals and experiences we’ve ever had. The food is top notch, and somehow the service still outdid it. Sophie was our waitress for the night and was phenomenal. We dined at Fairchild for our 10-year wedding anniversary and she made it a big deal. She mentioned to us that some people will split the entrees/pasta dishes into two shared courses which was perfect. We started with the unbelievable hamachi and mushroom tempura. Both were unreal. You can feel the precision in the kitchen. Then we got the Riso Nero (this is a guess on the spelling) and each piece of seafood was perfectly melted-in-the-mouth delicious.Next was the steak, which paired nicely with the truffles and other items that they put on the plate. We enjoyed it with the Brussels sprout side and fava bean side with the steak course as well. The Brussels sprouts were good but the fava beans outshined it. The herbs they are cooked with take it to another level. We finished off with the pumpkin panna cotta dessert and it truly could go toe-to-toe with some of the best desserts that exist. What a wonderful experience and we can’t wait for another opportunity to go back!”
“The restaurant is small, so the dining experience feels exclusive and intimate. The service we had was warm and inviting. The server never made us feel rushed, while also checking in on us from time to time (I wish I remembered her name, but shoutout to her!). The food was coursed out by the server/kitchen and was perfect timing for everything (not that we were in a time constraint, it was just nice the pace they did). The food was DELICIOUS! Their beet salad is probably my favorite beet salad in Madison. I had the rabbit and my partner had the cod, which were both so flavorful.”
“If you haven't visited you need to! This is my favorite place to go for breakfast! You need to have one of their cinnamon rolls, which are delicious. Also the pancakes are spectacular and they are huge.”
“Cocktails and Misto salad were fantastic. Pizza was ok. This was our first visit and we’ll try pasta next time. Waitress was great.Parking: We had a 5pm reservation and the parking lot was already full. Give yourself enough time to hunt down a spot in the neighborhood. Not too difficult”
“Only one other restaurant in Madison has comparable sushi. The ingredients are fresh. The rice in the sushi has the right moisture.Vegetarian options: Plenty of selections.Parking: They have their own parking lot.”
“The toughest thing is choosing flavors! When I went in, they were making waffle cones, which smells amazing. The ice cream started out bigger than what is in the photo, I ate some first!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free everything!Parking: About 6 spots, but I have never gone there and been unable to find a spot.”
“Went here for Sunday brunch. Food really great, service excellent, my only real complaint, and it's not really a complaint really, just a preference, is that I wish they would have had an espresso maker. I do love me some lattes or other freshly made coffee drinks on Sunday morning. Otherwise really enjoyed it and the price was totally fair for what you receive.”
“RED on W. Washington in Madison is a fun place for delicious food and drinks. The restaurant has a very cool big city vibe. We didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us at the sushi bar which we were thankful since it was a Saturday night. Plus it was fun to watch the sushi chef.We got the following :Appetizers:HEAD-ON SKULL ISLANDPRAWNSGinger, garlic, Fresno pepper, brown butter pankoYellowtail sashimiFresh water eel nigiriRolls:SALMON LOVERSpicy salmon, avocado, cucumber. “WOWWWW! As a non-vegan, I was definitely skeptical of this restaurant, but that was my mistake. This is one of the very best restaurants in all of Madison. It was so good that I went twice in one week because I couldn't stop thinking about how fantastic the food was! The service was excellent and Juan, the chef, made our experience super memorable. Make sure to get the chickpea paneer and the bao, they are both to die for! I'll be coming back (maybe again next week haha) and plan on taking all of my friends and family there to impress them. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you to the staff for such an amazing dinner!!”
“I've been to Edo 2 times, and both times, it's been an amazing experience! The food was delicious and well priced. I am definitely going to make this a regular spot!”
“The most tasty delectable food ever! My wife and I love it here! The atmosphere and employees are so welcoming and relaxed which makes it a great place to just chill out and enjoy a delicious balanced meal. Shakes are A+++++ in flavor and texture!”
“The food is very nice!! But don't go there, not ever on Saturday early evening, or early Friday evening. My favorite times!! I am bad at remembering to make reservations!??”
“Always enjoy the food, fish, and steak. Breakfast choices are good. Ate at the bar. Our bartender lacked service skills. We felt ignored. Like the supper club feel. Love the lake views.Parking: May need to park on the street. Restaurant has limited parking due to lake.”
