“We have had delicious Friday Fish at Kosh several times, and went again tonight for fish. Tonight they were out of potato pancakes - no biggie, the baked potatoes are good too. The fish was fantastic. We were disappointed that there was no cole slaw on our plates. When we asked the waitress she just said they ran out. Nothing was said when we ordered or when we were served and no substitution was offered, nor any adjustments to our bill. This was very disappointing, as we have eaten there many times. We will be back, because we are hopeful it was just an one time incident.“
“My wife and I are senior citizens (with a capital S), but we like to dance, and listen to music that pre-dates "jump-jump" music, if you know what I mean. We have been to Lucy's on several occasions. We usually eat first, then wait for the music. Recently, we saw 2 different groups. Tony Rocker was the first, and was great! the last time we were there, we heard a band called the Fort Nigng Band. While they were warming up it appeared they may be talented musicians. However, as they started to play their first set, the volume went up to the point of painful to our ears. I went over to the man on the sound board, and asked if he had a decibel meter, as sound over 90 decibels over a period is said to cause damage to hearing. He pulled out his cell, and the meter reading was 100-115 decibels! When I asked him to cut it back 10-20, he referred me to another man who was videoing on his phone, When I asked him to lower the sound level, another person, who I thought might be management, was also shouting that others were complaining over the volume as well. We tried to dance the second # after my request, and my wife noticed the hard beats were causing me to wince, We decided to leave, and as we passed the man said to be in control, he suggested we might be happier standing at the far end of the room away from the pand. talking to friends several days later, that had seats in the bar room several feet further from the dance floor, said they found the sound levels uncomfortable as well. The food was good, and the service as good as could be expected, as the room was understaffed. The waiter for our table also seemed to be working both ends of the bar, and serving tables as well, but was polite and attentive.“
“This used to be my favorite bar when I was younger. I stopped in recently for a beer after years of not coming. Nothing has changed. Still the great little bowling alley, and great little dive bar feel they've always been. Friendly staff, it's a bar you feel comfortable in!“

“I ordered a Patty Melt and Fries from here. I've never ate here before but I was craving a patty melt, so I ordyon door dash. This sandwich was the BEST patty Melt I've ever had in my life. It was amazing. I can't even explain how good it was. The burger on it omg. I will definitely other things from here. Wow 10 out of 10 all the way. Great job guys!!!“
“I came here for an event, and it was a cute little space! Luckily, for how packed it was, they have a great side yard that is a patio for seating and an additional bar space. Inside is smaller and has a long bar with some seating along the sides. I ordered a burger and fries while there and it was delicious! I cannot wait to come back and try more!“
“One of only 2 bars in Janesville with a second floor. It does make for a nice view. I was only here to get a drunk and saw they've got a nice Sunday special. They were quite busy and it seemed like their food was good. I'll have to go back again and try some.“
“We tried this place based on its reputation and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, 3 of us had the fish fry and my son had a burger. We could not have asked for better quality and the service was outstanding. Very friendly and accommodating. The place was packed when we arrived which is always a good sign but they made us feel like regulars . Did I mention that the fish is perfectly battered and fried to perfection. So good! We are definitely adding this to our fish fry rotation.“
“My husband and I went here to see Caroline's Spine with an old friend of my husbands.The beers were $6.00 for a 16oz can. Could have been worse, I suppose. We didn't try any food this time, so I can't say much about that aspect as this was my first time going there.For how packed it was, the bartenders did a pretty good job tending to the customers. It's a pretty decent sized bar with lots of seating for a normal evening out. With there being a concert the night we attended, there was extremely limited seating. We didn't sit at all.“

“My wife and I were introduced to Creekview from friends and absolutely love the golf course. I get the opportunity to work on my short game and my wife gets the opportunity to learn golf with less pressure than of a full size 18 hole course. We have golfed here quite a lot over the season and will continue to golf here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is decent, but keep in mind, it is bar food. This place is a great value for the money and is a great place to take someone learning the game. Watch out for the "gator" in the water on the 4th hole.Opportunities for improvement here are that most of the carts need to be re-upholstered, the tee boxes could be rolled flatter. Overall, though, these don't significantly diminish the experience or value of the course.Thank you Creekview! We will continue to support you!“

“Stopped in to Red Baron Pizza on a whim to try the Best Pizza in the Universe. Clearly the stars were aligned and indeed we were served up a massive slice of Heaven. We ordered the Meathead Pizza, 16\\\" to share and had a nice amount to take home. Very clean establishment with a pool table, a couple electronic dart boards and a very lovely and personable young lady who took care of making sure we had drinks and hot food. We took advantage of a game of pool while we waited for our food. Yes, we also agree that this is one of the Best Pizza's we've ever been served and plan to visit this place again in the near future.“
“Neighborhood bar. I guess it would be named a "dive" bar but that seems disrespectful. It is a no frills, worn, tried and true Wisconsin tavern. Lots of beer and booze have crossed the bar over the decades. We stopped in for a drink and enjoyed ourselves. Bartender was a blonde woman, don't know if she was Juli the owner, but whoever she was she was very warm, cheerful and outgoing. Made us feel at home in her business. Have the usual video poker machines, two types of shake of the day and a punch/tip board. We didn't come out ahead but had fun and isn't that what it is all about. If in the area we will stop again.“
“Brenda is the best. Always makes sure you don't run out of drinks. Always such a pleasant attitude, even though some customers can be rude and obnoxious. Alot of friendly people, some have became good friends. They make sure you notice them to say Hi. Always making new friends every time i come in. Just overall, a great place to go. “This place is more of a ode to the Korean war heroes and a museum than it is a bar. However, it has the feel of both. Not sure what's going to happen to the place as the owner has aged with the Rolex that surround the bar. But it is an experience that if you have time, you should definitely consider having. Time is limited, but then it always is.“
