My favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. A go-to for bringing guests to while visiting. I’ve spent a few birthdays here, and have never been disappointed in a dish.I’ve made a few addicts out of the Beef Chow Fun and Orange Chicken. Pictured here is part of the Peking Duck meal, perfect to split with 2-3 people!

We tried the new Friday lunch buffet and it was my first time here. The food is elevated Chinese...honestly, it was probably the best Chinese lunch buffet I've been to because of the freshness, cleanliness and originality.

Went to DanDan last night and tried to walk in, it didn’t work out so we went back today and it was sooooo worth the wait! Never have I ever had such fantastic Chinese food with a modern twist! The atmosphere is trendy and relaxing! Can’t recommend this place more! The orange chicken was perfect! The salt and pepper shrimp fried rice sealed our experience and the crab rangoons with dungeonous crab blew us away! The stafff from the front door to table service was attentive and professional! Already making plans to return! Don’t miss out on this one! Drinks were fabulous and refreshing! MAKE A RESERVATION!

First time trying DanDan. Really good food. We shared the orange chicken and DanDan noodles. Both were fantastic.

The orange chicken good. The Mongolian beef’s sauce had nice deep flavor. The pad see ew had a good combination of vegetables. The crab Rangoons were so delicious. The dumpling quality was a little disappointing and the portion sizes specifically for the dumplings were not worth it. The cream puffs had a lot of interesting flavors going on at the same time so you might like them if you like experimental desserts. The mango crème brûlée was not set and was pretty runny but the flavor was delicious.

Terrible business. Ordered a day in advance to have food delivered at my house between 7:30 and 8pm, and at 7pm the day off they canceled the order. I called DanDan to check if it was them or UberEats that cancelled the order, and it was them. Supposedly they were very busy and so they decided to not fulfill any delivery orders. Super unprofessional as if they canceled the order just 30 minutes before it should have been delivered.

Ambience was lovely but I am more about the grub than the ambience, and the food here was just okay. More salt than flavor, probably so you'll order more drinks. To be honest, the Panda Express has more flavor. This was like an oversalted PF Chang's. If you're looking for a cutesy date night and don't really care about the food than this is definitely your place. If you want really good Asian food though, skip. I gave the food 3 stars instead of 2 because the General Tso cauliflower is actually pretty good.

I've always heard rave reviews about this place, so I was disappointed with our subpar experience there. Each of the individual missteps are things we would have usually overlooked but added all together it wasn't a good time. We made a reservation for 4 at an off-peak hour, but when we got there they didn't have our table ready. Okay no big. The host says there is room for us to grab a drink at the end of the bar. We head there and the bartender acts like we're in the way, because we are. There are only 2 seats and we're crowding in.Twenty minutes later our table is ready and we head over. They only have QR codes on the table but you can't zoom in on the menu if you have an android phone, so we have to flag someone down to request a readable menu. We make our decisions and let the waitress know when she comes back. It's 8:45pm at this point and not very busy. We get 4 entrees and an appetizer. The food all comes out at different times over 20minutes. The waitress asks about the food before the last dish is there. The food was... Fine. Inconsistent spice levels- the dishes that were supposed to be super hot are kinda mild and vice versa. It's all extremely salty, especially the last dish. When the host asked if we liked everything at the end of the meal we told him so, and he asked if we'd alerted the waitress. But we hadn't seen her between the delivery of the last dish and the end of the meal. It took us a good 15 mins to get the check.Overall this place strikes me as really inconsistent. I don't doubt that plenty of others have fantastic experiences here but the food, service, and attention to detail were all off for us.

The depth of flavor is crazy!!! The three course duck dinner is to die for, seriously get it! The general tsao’s chicken is by far the best I’ve ever had…. Incredible. Egg rolls are crazy complex and delicious. The wait staff was outstanding. The food comes out hot when it’s prepared. Highly highly highly recommend that you try it. I’ve traveled extensively through out and lived in Asia, and even though this is Americanized, truly the quality and depth of flavor I remember.

The Chefs masterfully use textures in the dishes. I was impressed as each dish out did the last. Its not your neighborhood Chinese place, but highly recommend for a nice night out. Definitely will be back.

Unbelievably good food! Highly recommend the general tao's cauliflower! SUPER good! And the pork dumplings we had were EXCELLENT. Everyone loved their meals, and our server was super personable and attentive. The place is also very chill but fancy at the same time. WILL be back!Dietary restrictions: They have an entire gluten free menu, and are very conscious about any dairy or celiac issues as well!

We ordered the 3 course peking duck. Sadly, the food was overly salty. Service was ok. Drinks were good. We were a little disappointed.

Honestly a terrible experience. It was date-night for my partner and I, and we were all ready for a nice night, but that was disturbed by bad service and bad food. We were situated between 2 other tables with the same server as us, and both of those tables had very attentive service, while my partner and I were deliberately ignored. Additionally, the food was remarkably over-salted, almost inedible if we weren’t so hungry. Despite having a very nice atmosphere, the whole place is very subpar, and I’m not quite sure what the hype is.
