A truly unique tasting experience. Each plate has exquisite flavor from start to finish. The wines paired with each plate were excellent, with some unusual combinations that worked very well. My favorite dish was the truffle pasta "pillows", closely followed by the olive oil ice cream desert course. The service was impeccable, delicious food, beautiful tasting room. If you've never had a tasting menu experience, start here!
This restaurant served up what is possibly the best Asian-fusion food I have ever eaten. Every mouthful was full of flavours, it was so delicious. I don't understand the negative reviews, I will remember this restaurant for a long time. The cocktails were also delicious. Sadly I do not live in the US, but if I ever return to Milwaukee, I am coming back to Dandan for dinner.

We had a great experience last night. Food and wine pairing was outstanding. Staff was very friendly! We have dined at many fine dining restaurants and we had a few critiques: the courses and wine were a bit rushed (they sat down our new wine when we weren’t done with the previous wine, I had to chug a few wine tastings), they didn’t give us spoons with a broth course so we drank from the bowls, and I didn't like we had to pour our own water.
