“The food on today was good except the dressing It was very dry; it was inedible. My one complaint about this restaurant is they never get your order right. And the female cashier this evening around 4 pm 022625 was unfriendly; when I told her that I didn’t get my muffin , soda and extra piece of fish. Bad customer service makes me not want to eat the food.“

“We had a few drinks and some fried snacks. The food and atmosphere and great. We also took a pie making class with Valeri in the back pie making kitchen. The class was supper fun. She is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable. We made strawberry rhubarb pie and it turned out excellent. Valeri really ran a great class and made it fun and informative.“

“We spent a weekend getaway in Milwaukee for our anniversary and went to Tupelo Honey for dinner on Saturday night. We made a reservation ahead of time online but it looked as if walk-ins would have been accommodated! Our waitress, Courtney, was absolutely AMAZING and made our whole experience even better. The vibe of the restaurant was on point and the food was beyond delicious! We got the skillet pimento cheese dip app, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and pecan pie for dessert. Everything was so good and we would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good, comfort food! Definitely ask to sit in Courtney's section!“

“I had a catfish sandwich the other day and… The bread was toasted just right with butter on both sides. The onions, lettuce and tomato was perfectly crispy. And the fish was fried to perfection with a tasteful crust. I opened it up and gave it perfect sprinkles of hot sauce to top it off. First to last bite was heaven on earth.“

“Doc's is the best smoked meat in Milwaukee. The portions are satisfying. They have 4+types of sauces. The fries are seasoned just right!! I had a hiccup on a take out order and I called to let them know. The manager was courteous respectful and made it right on another visit. I love the fried pickles. “The food was hot and fresh but we did have to wait a bit. I'd suggest ordering ahead it seemed to be the trend. We tried the catfish, fried chicken, fries, and fried green tomatoes. Unfortunately, the fried green tomatoes were a bit disappointing and flavorless, but the rest of the meal was really good. The chicken and fish were crispy and juicy. Although the dining area didn't quite live up to our expectations, so we decided to take our food to go instead.“

“I had sworn off of JJ's Chicken after my last experience but this new location for me is fantastic! The chicken is not oily. The meal was ready when we arrived. The fries were crispy just like I like them! You have a new customer with us.
