“The pork chop was excellent! I liked that it was served with Gnocchi and not rice or a normally cooked potato. I sampled a bourbon drink and it was so good. Too much sugar if you have diabetes like my partner. Haha“

“The food on today was good except the dressing It was very dry; it was inedible. My one complaint about this restaurant is they never get your order right. And the female cashier this evening around 4 pm 022625 was unfriendly; when I told her that I didn’t get my muffin , soda and extra piece of fish. Bad customer service makes me not want to eat the food.“

“There's something about tucking into the bar at Palomino when it's cold and wintery...it's perfect. Last night we had the savory hand pie of the day, a cubano, which was absolutely spectacular. That pastry dough is life changing. Balanced flavors. AMAZING. Dry rub wings were cooked perfectly and the fries, THE FRIES, THE FRIES! So good. Extensive whiskey/bourbon selection too which is fun to see and try new things. Don't skip this spot! Tuck in and hide from the cold!“

“I had a catfish sandwich the other day and… The bread was toasted just right with butter on both sides. The onions, lettuce and tomato was perfectly crispy. And the fish was fried to perfection with a tasteful crust. I opened it up and gave it perfect sprinkles of hot sauce to top it off. First to last bite was heaven on earth.“

“Doc's is the best smoked meat in Milwaukee. The portions are satisfying. They have 4+types of sauces. The fries are seasoned just right!! I had a hiccup on a take out order and I called to let them know. The manager was courteous respectful and made it right on another visit. I love the fried pickles. “This is an amazing choice for people in large groups and/or if you're just looking for good food. Customer service was amazing very grateful for the last minute seating. There was a group of 9 of us and they were super welcoming to all of us. I would recommend anyone who is hungry, eat here, you will not be disappointed.“

“The food was hot and fresh but we did have to wait a bit. I'd suggest ordering ahead it seemed to be the trend. We tried the catfish, fried chicken, fries, and fried green tomatoes. Unfortunately, the fried green tomatoes were a bit disappointing and flavorless, but the rest of the meal was really good. The chicken and fish were crispy and juicy. Although the dining area didn't quite live up to our expectations, so we decided to take our food to go instead.“
