Really nice atmosphere and diverse crowd. The owners are friendly and so is the staff. I highly recommend you go check out this new spot!

Upper East Bar is the former site of the Eastsider (closed in 2017) on the corner of North and Oakland. I visited this spot to celebrate a friend's birthday while I was in town visiting. The drinks were reasonably priced, the music was consistently good (vibes were hip hop, pop, rnb), and the bartender's service was great. I heard that the owner allows people to rent the space out for events and parties. Great place for a pregame or couple drinks on a school night, haha.
