“Ordered online, when I got there the lady offered to add decorations to the cupcakes and they were just as ordered. Only rated a 4 because I called multiple times and there was no answer and when they did answer they said they dont take orders over the phone.“
“I made a trip back to the old home town, and this is one place I will not be driving by, without a stop. Bendtsen's has the best kringle in Racine. I'm not even going to entertain an opposition. In fact, it is the best bakery (IMO) in Southeastern Wisconsin. The wife and I arrived a little late on last Saturday, but late is better than never. The wife is a butterscotch fan. I know, she's 92 year old woman trapped in a 43 year olds body, but you can't deny it is a tasty flavor. We purchased one of those kringle varieties, a couple of croissant donuts, an elephant ear, and we should of gotten that last German Rye, but we just bought two loaves of Italian bread from Cardinalis. Next time for sure. All the items we purchased (and consumed) were outstanding. I mean that whole heartedly. OUTSTANDING. The one thing I didn't score, and was sad about, was a seven sisters. That is my childhood favorite. I will be back just to get me one of those. I will call ahead and make sure it is set aside. Tasting the kringle brought back happy childhood memories. In fact, it was better than when I was a kid!! I'm glad to see you are still in business, and I will be calling an order soon. Keep up the great quality, guys!!“
“Super cute place with a warm and welcoming environment. You can tell the owner is a very dedicated and caring soul. The food options are wonderful and all taste amazing and their presentation is beautiful. I have to gatekeep my favorite item because it’s only available on weekends but I think about it all week LOL.The Italian bread is amazingTarts are fabulous as wellCupcakes are to die forAll in all, best little cafe in the area. 10/10“
“The coffee here is great and if I'm gonna spend that much money on coffee, I'd rather it go to a local business than a big chain. They have an ever changing menu of fun drinks along with the traditional menu items you'd expect. They can also whip up pretty much any drink you can think of as long as they have the syrup for it.Prices are on par with most other coffee shops including the big chains and the staff is always very friendly. They host a lot of community events as well and have various types of art anf jewelry on sale from local artists, which is pretty cool. My only complaint, if I had one, is there is no drive through and seating is limited.“
“We used Sugar and Spice for our 1 year old's golf themed birthday party. The cupcakes and smash cake were realistic and delicious! They were the talk of the party and we will definitely use Sugar and Spice again. They were also flexible with some weather challenges with our event and worked with us when we had to reschedule multiple times. Thank you to Roshan and the team!“
“Ordered two dozen gluten free cupcakes for my daughter’s first birthday! My husband has celiac disease so I was pleasantly surprised when I found a local bakery that does gluten free. They also happily answered my questions about what their protocol was to assure items are not cross contaminated in the prep and bake process which I appreciated. The cupcakes were delicious and so adorable!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“We were thrilled to find this hidden gem of a panaderia, everything we bought was excellent! And they have more than just baked goods! We also picked up some fresh (refrigerated) tamales (YUM!), some cold desserts, some Mexican soda, and a large Horchata (which was awesome and perfect). The Churros were top-notch as was everything else we got. They also sell all kinds of other necessities behind the counter, including sauces and seasonings, The prayer candles with the saints on them, and... honestly there was so much, I'm not even sure what else, but it's worth going! The storefront is unassuming so it's easy to miss if you're driving past, but it's worth doubling back! Go!“
“Stablished on 2011 near Kenosha WI.Mars Cheese Castle is a family owned Wisconsin staple and grown tour attraction situated on I-94 between Milwaukee and Chicago. It is a castle that houses many departments including a specialty market offering more than 700 cheeses, wines and specialty items from Wisconsin and around the world, an in house bakery featuring desserts, kringles and breads (famous for its cheese and jalapeno cheese bread) baked daily, a restaurant popular for its many generously portioned cheese & meat sandwiches and featured burger and sandwiches of the month and a pub, well known for it's Wisconsin beers on tap and famous Bloody Mary (don't forget the beer chaser, a Wisconsin tradition!). Don't forget to pick up a souvenir in the gift shop on your way out!“
“I wish the menu had a few other options other than salads, burgers and chicken, but the food is good. Servers make some good mixers as well. The amount of waste that goes into having the food packaged and bagged to go even when dining in is a bit much as well.“
“The owner, Angelea, donated her sweet treats to our Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser and it was an absolute hit! Her attention to detail is impeccable. Hands down the best service, cupcakes, cakesicles and the most delicious strawberry blondie brownies ? Cannot wait for my next event to have an excuse to order more treats. 10/10 would recommend Whisked ??“
“Wonderful bakery! So glad to have something on my way to work to pick up crullers, muffins and coffee. We ordered four pies for a church event (apple and pumpkin) and they were outstanding. If you’re the person tagged to grind pies to your holiday meal, their apple is spectacular. Thank you!“
“This is the second location I visit, I normally go to the Oak Creek one, but this one is thousand times better. The people working were very kind and the baking goods are delicious! We normally get the amazing Kringles, but today we got some donuts for a change, and they were delicious as expected. Additionally, the atmosphere was great, loved all details in their decoration.“
