This place has really gotten busy since I was there a couple years ago. We were there on a Tuesday. Three of us had brunch together. I had soup and salad with a grilled cheese sandwich. It was pretty good, but I was not in love with the texture of the tomato bisque - like crushed tomato. Not what I'm accustomed to. Always a wonderful experience here. Came for lunch, had the fish fry and was blown away. Probably my favorite fish fry anywhere. Fish was perfect, batter was light and crispy. Same goes for the shrimp and fish combo. The pre lunch bloody was top notch. Just the right balance of everything. Service was outstanding. Very busy & noisy there today. Waitress forgot to refill coffee & didn't bring us salt & pepper when asked. Food was good tho. My friends & I always look forward to coming here. Our favorite foods are: chicken pot pie, or grilled cheese sandwich & soup! We always have to shop upstairs after lunch!
