“Always a busy place. The reason why is the service and the food is amazing. I was sitting at the end of the bar where all the take out orders were going out and was blow away. I was in no hurry and watching all the orders come out, I thought it may be awhile for food. I was wrong. Normal wait and my multiple bartenders were there taking care of me and make sure I had everything I wanted. If you hate crowds get the carry out! If you don’t mind take the time to slow down and just enjoy the music and the great service! I will be back! The Bluegill was great!“
“The bartender Tommy was average at being great. Kidding. He knew what the kids wanted and had kiddie cocktails all lined up for them, including extra cherries for my daughter. The food was fantastic ( order small for yourself if you have little kids cause you will have leftovers). If there's room for sweets and desserts, try the apple cinnamon wonton wraps. You won't be disappointed by anything on the menu. And if you don't get there in the cold season for their chili, be sure to get there during late summer for the cheesy kohlrabi soup. “Our new favorite place to dine. Great for the whole family, from younger kids to older grandparents. We love the shareable appetizers, flavored butters with rolls, wide range of menu options. Service is great every time, seated prickly even with a group of 8. Even the portions are large enough for leftovers.“

“Small town restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. $2 for bottled Sundrop, $22 for this large bluegill/perch plate w/soup and salad bar. I was very satisfied. I took half the fish to go. Will definitely go back soon.“
